Nat Sherman Epoca

Nat Sherman has been a pillar in the cigar industry since 1930, but recently they’ve been hotter than ever. To commemorate their history (and their success), they’ve decided to re-release a formerly retired brand that was their first offering in the premium cigar market: Nat Sherman Epoca.

Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic by the Quesada family, Nat Sherman Epoca employs a vintage blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican long-fillers paired with a silky, golden-brown Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. This combination promotes a blend that’s smooth and creamy, but still rich with flavors of coffee, nuts, wood, and pepper. Delicious and highly-enjoyable, this high-end offering accomplishes exactly what it set out to do: pay tribute to the pre-embargo clear Havana blend for which it was named and recreate some of that experience.

Nat Sherman Epoca
While I usually love this cigar, the box that I just received is an extraordinarily tight draw. Do not understand why, but I’ve had to use a draw poker just to enjoy a cigar. Love the flavor, just disappointed in this box.

Customer Testimonials
I usually smoke medium to full bodied sticks. I recently tried a few Nat Sherman blends, and the Epoca, although it hinged towards mild, was my favorite. The wrapper is lighter than the picture suggests. But, it was toothy and a little on the spongy side. It smoked like a champ. My robusto produced thick and chewy smoke. The flavor was nuts and cream and a little leather. Unlike my full-bodied cigars, this didn't dry my mouth at all. And, when I was finished, I wanted another one.

A great cigar from Nat. A beautifully creamy, medium bodied, thick smoke producer. Sweet and nutty flavors balance coffee and slight pepper finish. Worthy of a shot, don't scoff at the price, you're definitely getting a deal with these.

Big Nat Sherman fan, when in NYC my brother and I always meet and spend time in their mid-town store. I was recently down for my brother's birthday and picked up the Epoca Toro for him as part of his birthday gift, recommended by one of their staff, they are always spot on. We have both been smoking cigars for over 25 years. My brother said this cigar was the best he has ever had. We both like medium to full body cigars, but he said this cigar was smooth and creamy. I will be purchasing some from CI shortly.
