Very satisfied.
Fast shipping and delivery, usually receive my order before the estimated delivery date. Very happy with my purchase. I will be back to buy more CI Knock-Offs.

Knock 'em Off!
If you haven't tried these yet, you're missing one of the greatest deals CI offers. These little beauties are so close to the real thing that you're gonna feel like you just won the big kahuna lottery. Firm, smooth burning and great taste. If you feel uncomfortable about the rock-bottom price - buy 2 boxes and donate one to the troops!

CI Knock-0ff Macanudos--not bad
I found the CI knock offs to be a decent value. I like a mild cigar and these are slightly more aggressive than a Macanudo, but I still enjoy them. They are well made and burn smoothly. I will probably buy them again. I gave them four stars as a stand alone rating for a bargain cigar, not as a comparison to a real Mac.

Very Dry
To my surprise these cigars were very dry...

Review of Macanudo Knock offs
Ordered the Churchills and was very pleased. Ordered the panatellas and they were more inconsistent. Will stick to the Churchills

I perfer a milder cigar
A little to strong for me. I felt this was more a medium than mild-medium smoke. They are definitely a little stronger than a Macanudo Gold Label. If you like the stronger Macanudo (i.e. Cru Royale) you would probably enjoy this more than me.

good knock off
The price is right and its a good knock off.

Good cigar for the money, but definitely not a Macanudo.

CI knockoffs - Macanudo Prince Philip
Enjoy the taste, not quite as mild as the macanudo but nonetheless very good. Ocassionally the consistency of the wrapper on the cigar is wound to tight or the cigars are a but stale. Overall I am happy with the product.

Not bad
These were a little rough out-of-the-box but after a little time in "Jail" (the humidor) they emerged with a new attitude. I'm not an Upscale smoker so I'm always looking for the deals, which is also why I shop exclusively at CI. I'd do these again.

Good service
i like CI well overall. Seems like it but takes longer the. It should to process orders and actually ship them. I'm a fan of the knock-off cigars I wish more sales were run on home. Again over all great service!

What's Not to Like
i don't actually know what Hyde Parks taste\smoke like, but these are nice, mild cigars that burn evenly and pleasantly. I'll continue to buy them!

CI's version of the Macanudo
This is my everyday cigar...tasty, consistent and cheap! I treat myself to a name brand every now and then but I always come back to this reliable gem. Fellow smokers with whom I share agree that this is a great smoke. Neal

The taste was just ok, but he construction was horrible. The cigar was flimsy and spongy with an uneven burn. I won’t waste my money again on these cigars.

Doggone close to the Real Macanudo!
I couldn't get Churchill to appear which is the one I always order. Anyway, these are pretty close to the real Macanudo. In fact, on some light ups, I thought they were better! Smooth draw, stays lit, great taste. Try 'em. Don't be a scardy-cat. They're great.

Totally Satisfied
Very happy with product taste and quick delivery times.

Mild flavor and mild bodied, anytime is a good time to smoke these cigars. They're a great smoke in the morning, afternoon and at night. They are perfectly constructed cigars that burn evenly and deliver a good volume of smoke. Great cigar and very reasonably priced.

Built like a knock-off
A great tasting cigar (like it's doppleganger) but poorly constructed. With every breath I get a mouthful of filler pieces. Makes me wary of trying any more knock-offs.

Good flavor, but not great construction
The knock-off flavor is very simliar to the Macanudo, however the wrap & pack methods just aren't up to par. The Macanudo is tightly packed and wrapped in high quality wrapping tobacco, while the knock-off is loosley packed which allows shards of tabacco to get into your mouth. The wrapper is difficult to get a good cut on unlike the Macanudo which seems to cut perfect every time. To summarize, the flavor is there, but the packing & wrapping need work.

Close, and worth the price of admission.....
Same size and shape, with a smooth, even burn. But maybe not quite as tasty.

Better than Macanuda for my taste
Been smoking CI Knock-Offs for several years. Not as tight as Macanuda but that makes draw easier. A matter of taste of course, then there's the difference in price. Wish you all would start selling Nespresso expresso pods!

Macanudo Baron Rothschild
These are very good smokes. They are one of the best cigar buys in the country. I hope that they remain available for a very long time.

Smoking one right now!
My second or third order of these I think. I use them up so fast can't remember. Always a good deal and dependable choice!

Not for me
A lot of people told me they like Macanudo cigars so I gave then a try, not my style

I prefer Knock-Offs to Macanudo
Mild Dominican tastes like Macanudos but wrapped not as "tight." I prefer the draw on CI's. Have smoked close to a thousand.
Customer Testimonials
I too had reservations about anything called a "Knock-Off." But being the adventuresome type, I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Nice flavor, similar to a Macanudo as stated. Nice burn, nice in general. I'm on my 3rd batch now.
These are excellent cigars. My label loving buddies rave when I haul these out.
Not a Macanudo, but close enough that it's worth at least twice what CI is asking. This is my favorite everyday smoke.
My order arrived yesterday and I could not be happier. I have been hunting for a good low cost everyday cigar and have tried several cigars in the $1.25 to $3.00 range, but have been disappointed with everything I found until now. I am dropping the words cheap (even though I only paid about $2.00 each) and everyday when describing them since these are simply really good cigars. My only regrets are that I did not find them sooner and did not order more.
I had a longer review that got timed out on me before posting. Short version - 100% satisfied, CI ships stuff dang fast, the cigar I had fresh out of the bundle was an honest to goodness contender against the Macanudo Hyde Park. That makes for one happy shopper.
If you like macanudo cafe hyde park cigars, then this is a deal for you. I have four friends who are die-hard macanudo fans and will smoke nothing else. When I gave them each one of these, under the assumption that they were recieving macanudos, they smoked and praised the construction, slow even burn, long white ash, thick creamy yet smooth smoke and effortless draw, all of them proclaiming that this was an excellent cigar. when i told them that these were a ci knock-off, they didn't believe me and still don't. as with the cohiba knock-off, the only noticeable difference was the thinner more delicate wrapper.
Great cigar for the price...But, have been out of stock of the Torpedo's close to 30 day's now...need to work on this CI.
These are great for me, I like a mild to medium cigar. I used a punch on these and they have a great draw to them. I consider these to medium and taste very close to the Macanudo that I have bought in the past. Great smoke for the money!
I wanted to try these sticks to see how they taste. I don't smoke the top end cigars due to the price and I'm on a fixed income. I received them today and tried on right out of the box. The first 1/8 inch was a little harsh but it mellowed right out, the burn was even, draw was good and flavor was great. I will buy these again they make a good everyday stick and I smoke at least 2 cigars a day.
I purchased the Macanudo knockoffs, I am very pleased. Excellent flavor, burn was a little off but consistent. I ordered 2 more bundles! Great buy!
Pretty darn close to a Macanudo! I've smoked about 5 of these in the torpedo shape and nearly burned my nose and fingers smoking them down to a 'nub". This one is a keeper and I will buy them again. If you purchase these, they do need some aging, however, so put them aside in the humidor, if you can stay away from them for several weeks.
Buy them! You wont regret it. Your friends will love them too. Great everyday smoke!
Nice flavor! Really comparable with Macanudos.
Just like the real thing! Hate to admit it, but these are great cigars.
Great kick around smoke. Not overbearing, just a nice mild smooth smoke.
Overall, a good buy. Flavor is somewhat similar to Macanudo Cafe, just missing that creaminess in the smoke and flavor I was hoping for. Smell was damn fine, taste pretty good. I have to wonder, though, just who in the hell rolled these ones. Loose. Otherwise, for $2.20 a piece, I'll be buying more :)
....not too impressed. However, their burn was quite even.
Not quite a Macanudo, but pretty darn close. Well worth the money.
I am fairly new to the cigar smoking scene. I recieved some Macanudo Cafe Hyde Parks as a gift from a friend a few months ago and fell in love with the taste, but not the price. These knock offs are unbelievably close to the real thing as far as taste and draw. The only thing I have notices is that the knock offs tend to be a bit of a looser role in my opinion, but still a great bargain at $2 a stick. I have one of these regularly and it is a staple in my new humidor. If you are a frugel smoker or new to the cigar world, give these things a whirl, you will NOT be disappointed!
I purchased a bundle while searching for a daily smoke that's easy on the wallet. I have to say these hit the spot. Macanudos they are not, but these sticks are reminiscent. Mild, low resistance on the draw, and a good flavor. Burn is a little jagged, but I haven't had re-light issue from my entire first bundle. After spending time in the humidor they've gotten even better. Will definitely purchase again.
My first review wasn't posted, maybe I was a little to harsh with my words. From my experience with the CI Knock Offs Macanudo. If a long stay in the humidor doesn't fix them, then they are of no value. None of the first 4 I smoked would come close to even, and the tobacco feels like mush between your fingers. Spend a little more and purchase the Davidoff Corazones $57.00 dollars, or Indian Tabac Reserve.
Had my first Macanudo Knock-Off last night. The draw was a little tight but the flavor & burn more than made up for it. The overall quality of the smoke for the cost of the pack is a great deal by any standards.
When I first got these I was pretty disappointed. The color is a hue of green, they aren't even the same length as the Hyde Park, and they are very loosely rolled. But despite all of that after a few month in the humidor they taste great. Great being relative. They taste great for cheap cigars. They will never be as good as the real thing BUT they are enjoyable and you can smoke half and throw it out without feeling like you just threw away $10. I'll be buying more as soon as I make my way threw these.
At first, the cigars were a little bland. After a week or so in the humidor, they improved a bunch. Can't get enough of these. I'm gonna order another box of these pretty soon, along with a box of the mistakes.
I have been smoking and enjoying cigars all my life. (60yrs0ld)ugh!! Anyhow, these CI Macundo knock-offs are one of the best cigars I have ever had the pleasure of smoking. I have been thru several bundles of the churchills, and have yet to find a "stinker". All are top quality construction with great draw and great flavor and very consistent. I say better than the brand cigars! If you enjoy a mild cigar, with plenty of flavor, this is one of the best cigars I have ever had the pleasure of smoking.
The Macanudo CI Knock-off is a great cigar. Burns even, no issues with the draw and it is a tasty mild cigar. I recommend these to anyone who smokes macs. Thank You CI for a great cigar. JW
I love Macanudo and I cannot tell the difference between them and the (CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Macanudo) Knock-offs. Money is tight around so the knock offs are the way to go .Same great taste and a great price!!
I received my first shipment of CI Knock-Offs - Macanudo and I'm impressed. It is a good cigar and an exceptional value. It's a good smoke from start to finish. I recommend these to anyone who wants a good, everyday smoke for little money.
In my humble opinion the CI Knock-off and 5-Vegas Gold are some of the best tasting cigars on the market. For the last few orders I have filled my humidor with the CI Knock-offs. The taste is great! Good job on blending the tobacco.
Great cigars, very comparable to Macanudo (Macanudo Knockoffs). Will be keeping these in my normal rotation with my Private Stocks and 5-Vegas! Great job guys!!
"Knock-offs"? (CI Knock-Offs-Compare to Macanudo) Smokes more like the real thing to me. Every once in a while you actually get your money's worth and more. This would be one of those rare occasions. As I write this, I see most of the Macanudo Knock-off's are back-ordered. That's not a surprise. I just wish C.I. would knock-off La Aurora Perferidos and Fonseca Serie Fs.
truly a great cigar (CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Macanudo),burns even, tastes good, perfect draw.needs one thing,a cigar band. thank you thank you
I received the CI Knock-offs, and immediately put them in the humidor. Finally- a cigar that tastes like a Macanudo!!! I was a little disappointed after a day in the humidor. I'm hoping they'll age and marry. Not bad for the everyday cigar. Reminds me of the Magellans that I bought through CI, and they are aging very well. My wife even takes an occassional Magellan on our walks with the dogs.
