Rome wasn’t built in a day.Casa Magna Domus Magnus is ready for a line extension. Each size in the Domus Magnus II lineup is named for a famous Roman Emperor. Optimus went down in the history books as being “the best ruler”. Tiberius and Caligula were corrupt rulers. Primus was known for his extravagance and bravery. And Marcus Aurelius, was considered the last of the Five Good Emperors. Now, enough with the history lesson, let's dive into the blend. As I mentioned, Rome wasn’t built in a day. With that fact in mind, Manuel Quesada took his time crafting this beauty. Utilizing an ultra-refined Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper leaf cultivated from the fertile soils of Jalapa back in 2007, Domus Magnus II is plumped up with a bevy of Nicaraguan long-fillers. Notes of chocolate, earth, spice, and a faint cherry nuance all enter the fray throughout this complex blend. The result is one of the tastiest offerings from Quesada Cigars to date. It takes some 'cojones' to make a cigar for the Emperors of Rome. Luckily the Quesada clan hit this one right on the nose.
