Now this is a Macho Camacho!!

Yup, Camacho just got a makeover. As part of a ginormous rebranding campaign, you’ll notice a few differences with this fan favorite. But the important thing is quality, consistency, and flavor stayed the same. Camacho cigars are born at Ranchos Jamastran in Honduras, an area that’s said to have a climate to rival the legendary Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba. They’re darn tasty. And this edgy new look is downright enticing.

Dressed in a richly scented Ecuador Habano 2000 wrapper, this gorgeous handmade is head of the class. On the inside, a Corojo binder and well-chosen blend of Honduran and Dominican long-fillers marry perfectly. The draw is consistent, the burn is even, and the entire experience is deliciously complex. Full-bodied and full-flavored, you can anticipate intense notes of sweet cocoa and spice woven around a hearty core. Break free from the thick clouds of smoke to admire the band....this oversized work of art is done in bold tones of black, purple, and silver, and truly sets the stage for the experience. As far as makeovers go, this one gets an A+.

Tried two of them right out of the box. First one would not stay lit and the second one would not burn straight, tunneled all the way. They had a bitter flavor that I can only attribute to their youth. I have put the rest away to age and will try again after aging 6 to 8 months.

This is certainly not the same as the Quinto Corte of a few years back which was all Honduran corojo. It's bears the same name Diploma, but that's where the similarities end.

Great smoke, complex flavor, but not for the faint of heart. It is a full bodied pepper bomb, I have tried 2 since purchasing a box and I will rest the rest in the humidor for several months before smoking another. They should age nicely. I enjoyed the length of the smoke, don't light it if you haven't got a couple of hours to enjoy this one.

These cigars have a slight honey sweetness that is mild you can taste the good filler tobacco, these cigars were hot a little while ago for some reason when they changed there look they kinda drop off in sales is what i hear, that means good prices on good cigars.

Good, firm wrap for a perfect burn. Robust flavor, but not bitter or hot. Cool box, too!

First CAMACHO I ever smoked and I enjoyed it very much A bit pricey from my local smoke shop but well worth it. I will defiantly be ordering some from CI!

First rate. Appearance, burn, taste, strength, draw, all perfect IMO. Almost an almond liqueur taste throughout with some cocoa and cedar notes. Plenty of balanced spice which is what I enjoy. Great cigar!
