This limited production selection serves up a complex flavor profile consisting of coffee bean, cocoa, earth, and hazelnut. Uber-smooth and complex, each cigar is box-pressed in true Cuban tradition and aged four years, resulting in a 95-rated masterpiece. The draw: perfect. The construction: flawless. And it's available in your choice of a sun-grown natural or a dark maduro wrapper. Originally crafted to commemorate Padron's 30th anniversary, this enticing blend is sure to stir up a celebration of your very own.

Earning an impressive 95-rating, here's what the critics had to say: "A box-pressed cigar with a very even burn and a lush draw that saturates the entire palate with complex layers of spice, nut and wood flavors before a toasty finish."

Customer Reviews of “Padron 1964 Anniversary Series”
Put simply, a great cigar. If you have the extra money, go for it. Pepper off the start and develops wonderfully into a consistent medium bodied cigar. I've smoked 2 as gifts and will be getting more when I can afford!

Padron 1964 Anniversary Series. One of my top 10 cigars. Expensive....yes, but there's no denying, it's worth it. For me it's a special occasion smoke. Every time I light one up....it's a special occasion.

Defiantly one of my favorite cigars. I find the cigars consistent as well as a rich smoke. usually somewhere in the mix is a slight wood note, but I would call this cigar overall earthy/ nutty, but very pleasant. The aesthetics as well as the filler and binder are top notch. The wrapper is a nice brown with slight whiting, and the ash, from what I remember: is a solid white with brown inlays. Great cigar!

One of the top 10 cigars I've every had. And I've enjoyed cigars for over 30 years. I love the Padron 1964. Wish this could be my everyday smoke, but they are a little too price for that. But a wonderful special event smoke. Highly recommend them..

I just got 5 off these off MMAO.... And OH MY, my wallet is going to get a workout. Please don't cry at the price it is well worth every draw. Hands down and back away from my stick. Best smoke on the market!!!!

Maduro: Very easy to light. Excellent construction, draw and burn. Voluminous smoke output with each draw but very little smoke while at rest. Slow and cool burn with flawless white ash. Thick and creamy on the palate. Medium strength and medium to full flavors. Rich aged tobacco flavors of deep leather, cream, nuts and dark coffee all blend seamlessly. Faint nutmeg, caramel and mild oak fade in and out. A medium length finish after each draw. Extremely consistent from beginning to end. A pleasure to smoke.

Is there anyone I can sue for making me try this 1964? All I want is a box of these cigars, every other month, for the rest of my life. No money, just 1964's. But, in all seriousness, if the money's there, this is a must for anyone who hasnt had one. Its a beautiful thing!

Received several in a sampler pack and aged them in the hummi for several months. I usually stock enough in my 4 hummi's to allow for this aging. Anyway, the smoke was nice, I would say it was a very light med thru the entire stick. Nothing really complex about it. I would of gave it a solid 3 star rating out of 5 (which is good coming from me),, but at this price- NO WAY!!! and with an inventory of Oliva V series Melanio (just absolute heaven), or the figardo's,,,La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor (awesome!), Flor de las Antillas (it's like smoking velvet!)This is some of my 5 stars,,, 4 stars (some)-Nica rustica (wow-wow!), Toranno Exodus 1959 maduro box press, Perdomo 20th anniversary/ or the Champagne NIOR(incredible-INCREDIBLE flavors), Alec Bradley Prensado (perfection),Alec Bradly Tempus,, just to name some for the point. All these other cigars are over half the cost of the padron,, I had to dip back into the hummi for something of real value after smoking the padron. Yes, smooth, yes nice burn, yes, yes but severely LACKING any type of real flavor..just a real-real light smoke. And if that's what I wanted, I could of pulled out one of my low cost Nica Libre's- AGED for 3 months (Must age), better enjoyment all around. So to those out there that want a real test?.... smoke this padron, then follow up with an Oliva V melanio,, and then write your review. I'm telling you, for the money, even try the perdomo 20th anniversary as a rating gauge!!! THEN, maybe you will see what 4-5 star cigars are like. You will forget the padron's!

Like others have said, they are expensive but well worth it. I bought a single from another store as CI doesn't have them available, I wanted to celebrate the birth of my second child as well as my birthday and this was perfect. Sat down and throughly enjoyed the smoke from start to finish, it has a little pepper taste but smooth and perfect draw and burn... It is a softer stick so I cut it a little less than I would normally which made for a perfect amount of smoke... Loved it and will be adding this to my list of re-buys!
