Bandidos

Mild n’ sweet.

Bandidos are not long on looks. But these rough little sons of a gun are super tasty, offering a crisp tobacco flavor and oh-so-gentle draw. In fact, these cheroots are made entirely by hand, crafted without binders. Torcedors simply bunch the fillers and apply a dark Sumatra wrapper. The tips have been sweetened to provide a delicious, sweet and smooth taste. And the price! Indeed the price! These quality handmades even beat out its machine-made counterparts. So pick up a “bale” or two today and save mightily while enjoying delicious cheroots you can chaw on all day long.

A guy at work gave me one (Bandidos) and I loved it. I'm on here now to order some. Sweet taste with a mild after.
PP of atlanta, GA
The best tasting cigar (Bandidos) for the price. Mild tasting but strong.
DW of Kissimmee, FL
This is one heck of an ugly duckling (Bandidos)! But as soon as you take your first puff, you realize it tastes just as good as it is unattractive! Nice, quick, sweet, with a ton of billowy smoke. This is really a big, expensive cigar in a small, ugly, inexpensive package.
JK of Placentia, CA
These little guys (Bandidos) are a perfect "short smoke." They're especially good for winter, when you want to duck outside for a quick cigar. Even the rough look is appealing. I'll always keep a bale or two on hand.
DM of Springfield, MO
Around here we have "Backwoods 'Wild n Mild Cigars'". they come in flavors, "Mild and Natural; Sweet and Aromatic; ect." I prefer the sweet and aromatic. These are better and I'll tell you why' (Bandidos) 1: Just as long and a little bigger ring guage. 2: Smoother, Tastier. 3: About 35 cents a piece cheaper. Much Much Better!
MR of Marcellus, MI
Once I received these little guys I smoked them right away...right out of the bundle. And so I knew after a week in the humidor they would be great. I use these cigars for whenever a regular one is out of the question. And I love the sweetness at the beginning. Thanks CI!!!
AS of Appleton, WI
These sticks are probably some of the tastiest (Bandidos) cheap-o's i've ever had. I grabbed two sacks of them and i puff on them all day every day so they're going fast. I will definitley buy more of these. smooth, mild and the perfect touch of sweetness.
CO of roseville, MN
What a great little smoke! I did expect it to be a little sweeter, but it is still a good smoke. I'm liking these better than my regular cigars. These are perfect for my half hour drive home.
SM of Jersey City, NJ
I usually smoke Backwoods, but I recently purchased Bandidos for the first time and I must say they are much better in quality and taste!
PR of Clarksville, TN
A tasty little smoke (Bandidos). Kind of like the Hershey's Kiss of cigars.
EM of River Forest, IL
I had one of these (Bandidos) tonight and i really enjoyed it. I'm not sure why they call them mild, but in my opinion i thought it was pretty full bodied. A great smoke that last's about a half hour with a welcoming sweet taste:)
CI of Grass Lake, MI
This was my first time purchasing this cigar. I was looking for a good short smoking cigar and I definitely found what I wanted.
DL of Baltimore, MD
A more robust and longer "short smoke" than a Backwoods and a better value to boot! Love 'em!
JS of Scottsdale, AZ
The description is accurate when it comes to being tasty. These frightful looking little suckers are just that. But they fall short of the "oh so gentle draw" ... I was able to resurrect it by crushing a hard spot between my thumb and index finger - not usually advisable, but I would've had to throw it away otherwise. They leave a very pleasant taste on the palate that lingers for quite a while. Overall, for the price, they're not a bad deal. I'm hoping that the rest of the 120 get better with age in my humi.
JG of Gales Ferry, CT
I'm always in the market for inexpensive cigarillos, and these Bandidos pretty much hit the spot. The draw isn't as smooth as I'd like, but the flavor's hearty enough to make a tasty smoke, and I really dig the look. You almost feel like these belong in a Clint Eastwood western with that rugged, gnarly stick. Good value for the money when I'm up for a quick smoke.
PS of Marietta, GA
I must say... I like these Bandidos better than my $10 sticks. These are not a replacement for Backwoods at all. These are full blown bite size quality cigars. Taste and smell heavenly, the best I have smelled so far. The cap has a hint of sweetness, just a hint. Construction is above average. Nice round cigars, with a tight flat cut cap and a semi loose bushy foot. Draw is just right. For those complaining that the draw is tight, let it sit out for 30 minutes before you smoke it. Tobacco swells when it is moist, and chokes off the draw. They do come quite humidified, but that is a good thing. Burn is slow, burn time is between 20-30 minutes. Use a long slow sippy draw to get the full enjoyment out of these little pleasure sticks. Surprisingly these do pack a nicotine mini punch, so don't smoke them on empty, unless you like it. I was skeptical at first, but Im glad I ordered them. Im getting 120 more. Awesome little smokes for a very good price. Backwoods are crap compared to these. If you bought these and you don't like them, send them over to me, I'll pay for shipping. ; )
NS of Wildomar, CA
I quite adore these little cigars. They are tasty and burn rather nicely. I've purchased many little 'knock around' smokes, but these definitely take the cake. And for the price and customer service you get at CI, these are simply a great buy.
JD of Hillsboro, OR
I ordered a bale of the Bandidos a little over a month ago. And, at first, I did not think I was going to care for them. But, either my tastes have changed or it was time in the humidor that has made this cigar a real winner in my book. I sort of compare it to the Rex Britannia, in terms of taste and aroma/bouquet. Although, the Bandido is a bit bolder in strength and a little more pungent in aroma/bouquet and is less sweet in the tip. It is a great short smoke that you can enjoy several times a day without breaking the bank. I love my Gurkhas, Man O Wars, H. Upmanns, Macanudos, Diesels, RP's etc etc. But, I can't always take the time and/or invest all the money to smoke them constantly throughout the day. Thus, this little Bandido, fills the bill for me.
JM of Hampton, TN
If you are looking for a quick and true cigar flavor from a small cigar you need these. Some reviews compare these to Backwoods but other than looking like Backwoods the comparison stops in my opinion. These do not have that chemical aftertaste, these are somewhat larger and have tons of great smelling smoke. And the price of Bandidos makes them a value beyond any you buy from the corner store. I have tried every small cigar on the market I think and these are the ones you want to stock in the humidor. Hands down the best cigarillo on the market.
KG of Lawrenceville, GA
These Bandidos are a great cigar for a quick 20 minute, cheap smoke. The sweetened tip is nice and not overwhelming. The flavor is surprisingly good for being inexpensive. I purchased 60 to try and just received a second order for 120. You do not need to worry about wasting one of these cigars if you light it then get busy with something else, as if you only smoke 1/2 then pitch it, you're out less than $0.35--score. These cigars are also perfect to give your rookie cigar smoking friends who are unable to handle a robusto sized cigar; you can give them one of these and you're out less than $0.65 after shipping if they waste the whole thing.
RJ of Rockford, IL
I really wish people would stop raving about these cigars. The LAST thing I want is the price to go up!!...in all seriousness, these are great cigars. Can't agree more with the majority of reviews. I too would occasionally spring for an expensive pack of Backwoods. Wanted something to smoke while working in the yard, or on the way home from work. And I wanted it to be something that wouldn't break the bank or break my spirit if I had to chuck it. These fill the bill perfectly for my 15 minute ride home from work. Great flavor, great draw...I'm hooked. Have given several away to friends to try. They are, and will remain, a staple in my humidor. This may be the one time that you actually DON'T get what you pay for...I think you get alot more!!!
TK of Sterling Heights, MI
These little cigars are great. Easy light, great draw, tons of smoke for the size, great burn, and nice flavor. What's not to like? As long as you keep them in stock and sell them at 50 cents each in bulk I will keep buying them and they will continue to be my daily smoke. Don't let the price fool you, these are no joke. These are real cigars that just happen to be small. I'd love to see a larger size developed and sold for 75 cents to a dollar each.
SS of Murrieta, CA
Not what I was expecting, but they're growing on me. I was hoping to get a cheap Backwoods replacement. Instead I got a stonger, more tobacco flavored smoke. The sweet comes from dipping and not from the tobacco blend. Bandidos are not mild and after the sweet tip flavor goes away, they're not sweet. So don't expect mild and don't expect sweet, but rather a quick, medium strength, real tobacco flavored cigar for a CI price that's next to nothing. Will I buy more? You bet!
JD of Magog, QC
I just bought some of those bad boys, and the only thing i can say is (wooow) great job guys. I mean for the great low price they should get an award for having both great taste and great price. YES off course they are not the same quality as the Backwoods cigars. But they are good for that price. and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who wants to save money and try something new.
RZ of San Diego, CA
I recently ordered these cigars and look forward to their arrival. Based on the fore-mentioned comments, I feel that I will have an enjoyable time enjoying my cigars...
GD of Yakima, WA
I bought the Bandidos after seeing them on CI. Worth every penny, they are a fun smoke and very tasty!
KW of CUMMING, GA
I just received my Bandidos, just like every one is saying! These are a great little quick smoking cigar, great flavour and mild! They seem to be warped well and have a great draw. Everyone I hand them out to loves them! Don't hesitate, go grab a bundle or two.
PM of waltham, MA
I am almost through my first bundle, great little cigar, can't figure why folks say they are not mild, sure seem mild and great taste to me! Going to order another bundle now. My buds say better than Back Woods!
PM of waltham, MA
These are great little 'anytime' cigars. Smooth and mild flavor a good easy smoke to enjoy. Great price for the quality!
JW of BIG LAKE, AK
I love a good long filler cigar. I am a graveyard watch beat cop, so I work outside all night long. I was looking for a tasty, handmade, long filler cigar that I could smoke all night, that I wouldn't feel awful about pitching if I had to start brawling with somebody. I burn half a dozen of them per shift. They are fantastic! Taste great, draw is nice and easy, burn is even, and I can chain smoke 'em without breaking the bank even on cop salary. I would recommend these to anyone, without reservation.
JM of SALT LAKE CITY, UT
Recently purchased these and I am completely satisfied. They are fantastic little cigars and you can't beat the price!
KL of Lockport, NY
Love these for that quick smoke. Problem is my neighbors love them too, so they don't last. Well worth the money I think.
JM of SUFFOLK, VA
I love these, I smoke them all the time when I'm in a rush or I'm not in a mood for a larger cigar. The flavor on these things are amazing! And you can't beat the price!
SZ of Toms River, NJ
I'm the "cigar guy" amongst my golfing buddies. I always have the cigars at the ready and usually bring bigger mild sticks for people to mooch. I handed out a few Bandidos once or twice, and now it's all anybody wants. Several of my friends who are not the cigar types have even bought their own bails. Very good taste, GREAT sweetened tip, and mild. Will ALWAYS have these on hand. Easily the best of this type of cigar.
SR of WAVERLY, IL
These ugly beauties are fabulous little smokes. I just tried my first one and ordered a second bundle. I'll never be without them, from now on.
MK of Rhinelander, WI
I must admit that I was immediately drawn to these little bad boys when I was looking through my CI catalog as they reminded me of the Old West, which I'm very fond of.... They have a smooth and easy draw, not too sweet, not too mild, but just right. They smoke for a good 20-30 mins which works out great when I take a break when I'm on duty. I also don't feel bad if I have to pitch one and be on the move in minutes. As a few people noted, they do arrive quite humidified, but after a few days in your humidor they're perfect. I lit one up the minute after receiving them and put the rest in my humidor, but they're going fast. I handed out several to some of my colleagues and friends and they were instantly a hit, I highly recommend these.
JM of Chandler, AZ
My favorite cigar out of any I've tried before, in any price range. The perfect blend of sweetness and raw tobacco flavor. If you want to feel like Clint Eastwood and savor a delicious smoke, pick up some of these, you won't be disappointed!
AH of Washington, DC
First three bundles were a great smoke, was very impressed-even my friends would ask for them. 4th and 5th bundles, bought as a 2-fer.... tobacco was much stronger, inconsistent and 9 or all of ten would seriously canoe with loose rolls. Not comfortable buying another bundle.
CN of DIGHTON, KS
I would count these as an extreme case of "buyer beware." I purchased these as a cheap weeknight smoke... But at this rate, I'll be lucky if that bale lasts a week. These exceeded my expectations in every way. They're ugly, but in a badass Clint Eastwood kind of way. The flavor is excellent and smooth all the way through, the light is amazingly easy, and the sweetened tip is nice and subtle. As a quick smoke, these are awesome. For the price, they're absolutely incredible.
PJ of Gilbert, AZ
Ditto everything. I love these things. Taste great, and they smoke longer than the physical universe should allow (could they be made of some sort of 4th dimensional tobacco?). I'd give anything for a churchill that tastes like this. Heck, I even want the churchill to LOOK like them.
BS of Bricelyn, MN
Funny, I read these reviews, bought the Banditos, and they are all spot on! Ugly little sucker, good cigar, nice easy draw and flavor. Great for a 20-30 minute smoke.
EH of walworth, NY
I concur with the other reviews. I wanted an inexpensive short smoke that tastes like a cigar, not like a chemically infused Backwoods and I got it. The sweet tip is not overbearing and pleasant. I will definitely buy more.
AC of FT MITCHELL, KY
Was given one, and I liked it, so I bought some of my own. Great taste, burns evenly, right price for everyday. Awesome.
SW of gray court, SC
These are great little cigars for that quick smoke. The problem is my neighbors love them too so I can't keep enough stocked up.
JM of SUFFOLK, VA
Easy light. Rough appearance but usually a good construction. Easy draw with uneven burn requiring quick touch-ups sometimes. Heavy, thick smoke output with medium mouth feel. Heavy smoke for such a small cigar and a very cool burn. Mild strength and medium flavors. Sweetened tip, deep, dark tobacco flavor with hints of coffee and caramel. No spice but will become bitter if smoked too fast. Short finish after each draw with same flavors. No change in flavors to the end.
PC of LEXINGTON, SC
First of all, I'm a pipe smoker not a cigar aficionado. I ordered this due to the other reviews and price. When I smoke a cigar I usually want a pipe replacement and thought these would be nice and they are about 40 cents cheaper than Backwoods are locally. I do like the Black & Sweet and Aromatic Backwoods. Now for the Bandidos. I got a 60 bundle and they struck me as pretty cool as soon as I opened the shipping box because the bundle is in a burlap bag. I was pleased to note that each one was in its own cellophane wrapper inside the burlap bag. I can carry one or two and not get tobacco in my pocket. To me they are slightly less sweet and have a little more body than the Backwoods B&S. They are also rolled with much more consistency than the B&S. I just lit up one of both brands for a side to side comparison and they taste very similar. The B&S is a little sweeter, The Bandido is a little stronger. I think if you like one, you would like the other. I will no doubt order more Bandidos in the near future, as they are about $0.20 cheaper than the B&S and have better consistency. They are more handy than the pipe, but retain the pipe tobacco taste, and are way good with a cup of coffee. For an every day smoke they are hard to beat, especially at the price.
WS of Haysville, KS
Ugly yes taste great give a try you won't be disappointed
AO of Hicksville, NY
Ugly little buggers, but they are sweet, smooth and plentiful. On the note of looks, they have a more rustic and rugged look, looking a bit like what Eastwood is chomping on in most of those old westerns. And, if I'm honest, I love the fact they come in a little burlap sack.
MK of Jackson, WY
A surprisingly well made, good value smoke. If you're looking for a substitute for Backwoods, these are made better, but be forewarned - they don't smell nearly as good as BWs. Fact is, while they taste decent and smoke well, they have a pretty pungent bardyard smell. With that said, if you like something more like a conventional short cigar, I'd suggest you try a bale.
RM of Delmar, NY
Wow I may stop buying expensive big cigars after trying these. I just light my first one up and can not believe the taste and smell of them. I will never not have a bunch of these in my humidor. CI has awesome shipping and pricing too which makes them even better.
JY of Coal Township, PA
Fantastic smoke! Sweet and tangy with a rustic badass look. At first when I ordered these I thought it was a novelty smoke, but now I can't stop. They are that good!
DC of Pensacola, FL
I bought these rough little Clint Eastwood-type cigars about a year ago and I still have quite a few that fill up a corner of my humidor. I usually smoke one when I mow the grass or when I feel like having a cigar but don't have much time to smoke. The sweetened wrapper is not overly-sweet, but just right, and the sweetness goes well with the straight-up tobacco flavor of the filler. Most of them have burned rather evenly, believe it or not. These are similar to Backwoods, but have a much better flavor. Overall rating: good cigar - 3.5/5
MW of Knoxville, TN
I got my first bale in the mail today. I love the style of the packaging, and the fact that they are individually wrapped. Enjoyed the first one almost an hour ago, and I'm impressed. I'm still new to cigars(I've enjoyed about 5-6 mid to high end cigars), and was looking for something to knock around while I get a small humidor setup, and some sticks sitting to age. I have to say I'm impressed! For the price, you really cannot go wrong. "Sipped" on slowly, they have a nice earthy/grassy/tobacco aroma, with a slight sweetness from the cap. I'm not really experienced, but I would say mild to medium effect and flavor. I was surprised to get just over a 30 minute session out of it. Almost an hour later, I'm still feeling mildly relaxed, with a slightly sweet(almost honey) taste still lingering. Looking forward to enjoying the rest of these, and will probably grab some more for in-between smokes, even after I get a collection put together.
CL of Tiverton, RI
Great smoke!
EV of LAKE VILLA, IL
For the money, really not bad. Small guys are pretty darn good. I've only had a few but pretty sure I'll keep more in the house to offer something other than my $10 sticks.
RW of Arlington, TX
Good quick smokes for when time isn't on your side. Will be ordering more soon.
AG of HIALEAH, FL
GREAT LITTLE CIGAR, BEATS THE COMPETITION HANDS DOWN!
RH of Valley City, OH
Just got 60 today and can't stop smoking these little suckers. Just what I needed for that quick smoke break. Sweet and smooth.
DM of New Britain, CT
SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE CHEAPIES FROM THE GAS STATION, THIRD TIME BUYING THEM!
DV of Wilmington, IL
if you like a good sweet smoke, you cant beat these. its like smoking a baby snickers bar. Order two bales, cause one wont be enough!!! Good smoke draw, smells and taste awesome. a 15 to 20 minute piece of enjoyment. my favorite so far for a little cigar. a 10 out of 10!!!
CF of mcalester, OK
Great smoke at a great price. Much better than others. Will be keeping these on hand.
CH of Chillicothe, IL
Bought this on a lark as I liked the look and these seemed interesting. I really like the cigar as it is short enough to get in on my lunch break. Not a complex smoke but still a good one. Great for the price per the cigar.
ZH of Englewood, CO
Had a nice sugar tip taste and great for the price for a 10 minute cigar.
JB of HENDERSON, NV
Great little smoke when all you've got is 15 to 20 minutes and it doesn't hurt that it makes you feel like Clint Eastwood in "High Plains Drifter"!
MD of Wareham, MA
This is a fantastic cigar. Good to have them around especially when you are completely out. I enjoyed every bit of it and I will make sure that I'll have them with me always.
WN of Koror, PW
I bought the 60 bale just to see how they tasted. I am going to buy the 120 bale next. These are great everyday beat around sticks. They have a clean burn, a decent draw to them. They are great for just chewing on,they are very strongly made. I chewed on one after it went out for about an hour an a half the other day an it held up very well. They don't crumble all apart if you do decide to just chew on it for awhile which is nice.
TC of Phoenix, NY
All I can say is BAD ASS! I bought these with the sole purpose of having a toss cigar for when I figure I will be interrupted, etc. Let me say I often go to these instead of my 10-15 dollar sticks. Another thing I love them for is 'smoking' them the way my granddaddy did...Chewimng them and never lighting them. Sometimes I am torn between lighting up a nice cigar and going for my cope...These are a perfect in between. Well done CI!
DH of Calexico, CA
1st Impression Humidor storage: None, grabbed em from postman and lit one up Appearance: Rugged Ha… like one reviewer said Clint Eastwood type Construction: Little looser than the full-sized cigars. Still it’s rolled fairly tight. Burn/Ash/Draw: easy draw, even burn. Burns a good ½ or more ash. May buy a punch, not much trouble with the draw without any cut. Excellent burn. Consistency: great throughout the whole smoke. Smoked it down to 1 finger. Taste: not really all that mild, sweeten tip that didn’t last that long. More bold then other called mild cigars. Kept my taste buds happy. IMHO – In my rotation. A very good cheap-o and another fine little smoke. ” I’ll be back” to smoke many more of these. Price point: Very Affordable Smoke time: 30 minutes * Preference: mild and shorter smokes
KD of Jesup, IA
Excellent value! A nice snack.
KL of Sioux Falls, SD
Great little cigar with awesome flavor! Perfect for that smoke break at work.
KF of Bluffs, IL
Great little cigars. Much better than Backwoods and cheaper. Not mild. I will buy again.
NB of Pink Hill, NC
Great little in-between cigars for the quick lunch breaks!
JT of COLORADO SPRINGS, CO
I'm very pleased with this cigar. Flavoring is just right. I will say that they are not as mild as the Backwoods cigars if you are looking for something like that. But they are not full bodied either. I'd say medium mild.
GF of WASHINGTON, DC
Great little smoke!!!!!
PM of STOCKBRIDGE, GA
I'm ordering my second batch very enjoyable when you don't want a big smoke :)
HG of ADDISON, VT
These are my go to cigarillos for when I take the dog out for a walk and I don't have the time to light up a cigar. Mild and sweet is the description and that's exactly what they are and I love the rough look they have. I got these on the MMAO for a steal. Thanks CI!
ML of New York, NY
Blows every other cigarillo out of the water. For the price, I don't think there's anything that can beat this. It's truly unbelievable!
RL of Flushing, NY
Although I don't smoke cigars on a regular basis, I do occasionally enjoy a good, mild smoke. Since I am kind of cheap, I decided to try the Bandidos and must say that I am impressed. Although the draw is not as smooth as higher end cigars, they have a good flavor, stay together, and burn better than other cigars. For what they are and what they cost, Bandidos are pretty hard to beat.
ED of Spencerport, NY
Not a bad small, short, little smoke with just a hint of sweet flavor when puffing on it. I would prefer a stronger sweet flavor, which would make it a good quick smoke. So it's good to have around when you don't have a lot of time.
TS of LAKE ORION, MI
Very happy with these cigars!
JM of Mattoon, IL
Not a bad little stick. Perfect for dog walking or mowing the grass. The tips have been sweetened, so beware of that, not overpowering, but noticeable. I may order some again, but that'll be in the far future considering how many come in a bundle. Yes they're ugly, but they work.
CW of West Chester, OH
Great little cigar at a great little price. Better and cheaper than backwoods.
ND of TROY, NY
I liked these, they were not too big nor too small. A good 15-20 minute smoke. The sweetend tip made them tasty but not too sweet. Gave some to a cigar buddy and he liked them too. We did agree though that they are stronger than described. I will buy again.
LE of Hawthorne, CA
I am not a smoker, however I have been in search of cigars for my husband who has taken interest. I ordered the bandidos because they were inexpensive and had a lot of great reviews, and honestly, he loves them! They are quick to smoke for when he's driving to or from work, and he says they have great flavor for what they are. Great job on this one!
HR of Pendleton, OR
They are rough and ugly, but holy crap they are good! These will be my new everyday smokes. Will put in for a regular shipment as soon as I am getting to the end of the first 4 bales I got on MMAO. They do have a shaggy end that I don't care for. But nothing a cutter won't fix. But will say, most of the ones I have smoked so far have been a wee bit stronger than a mild, which I happen to like. They kick the crap out of any machine mades anyday. Period
SM of Kokomo, IN
The batch I received was harsher than I thought from what the description says. Nor were they sweet and mild. After getting used to them some small amount of sweetness is evident. Maturing them a bit more would probably help.
PM of SEATTLE, WA
This is a repeat order for me, and probably will be in the future. Great little burners, terrific taste, an easy choice to give to a first time smoker, or one of those guys that can't seem to keep up with their own stogies.
KB of Hornbeck, LA
These little pieces of delicious are amazingly cheep. It is a great little 20 minutes of relaxation and peacefulness. Don't pass these thing up!!!!
SP of GREAT LAKES, IL
These are great cigars and a affordable price too, I buy alot of these because they are a smooth wonderful smoke.
RL of GEORGETOWN, IN
I love these little cigars and the price is great. thanks
JF of MURPHY, NC
Great smoke for the price. Great flavor, sometimes a little pungent/funky on the.... aroma, but a nice cigar nonetheless. Yes I like the "Good, the Bad, and the ugly" look. The cigars were well aged when I finally got them.
JH of Houston, TX
GREAT CIGARS.... MAKES YOU SMOKE ALL DAY
MM of STATEN ISLAND, NY
