CAO Flavours

Subtle, exotic flavors by CAO cigars.

CAO Flavours are top-notch flavored cigars with subtle, real flavors that don’t overpower. As one customer gushed, “this is the Godiva of flavored cigars!” CAO Flavours are different than most flavoreds. Made of high-quality long-fillers only, they’re very mellow and offer a great change of pace - plus CAO handmade quality.

CAO Bella Vanilla: uses top-tier vanilla beans from Madagascar, considered the finest source for vanilla in the world. Complex flavors abound and these superior beans are imbued into a blend of rich Cuban seed tobaccos, resulting in a subtle, well balanced cigar with a rich, layered complexity.

CAO Caramelo Joe: a rich and complex cigar developed to resemble the deep, roasted espresso, cream, and caramel notes of a macchiato. Made with a genuine Cameroon wrapper, expect a balanced cigar with smooth subtleties and a sweet, nutty finish.

CAO Cherrybomb: Cherrybomb explodes on the palate, quite literally, releasing an exceedingly flavorful and enjoyable series of cherry and black currant flavors. This explosion is soon tamed by a creamy core of vanilla and sweet, almost citrusy aroma.

CAO Earth Nectar: a delicious, all-natural combination of cocoa, toasted almonds, and raisins that is touched with sweet honey then infused with fine chianti. The Cameroon leaf and Cuban-seed Dominican fillers achieve a mild, smooth smoke that satisfies the palate with a sweet, flavorful offering of nature's finest fruits.

CAO Eileen's Dream: quite possibly the most unique of CAO's Flavours. Comprised of a smooth Cameroon wrapper and mild Dominican filler that have been infused with an explosion of ingredients including Irish whiskey, cream, coconut milk, hazelnut, white chocolate, almonds, cocoa, and vanilla bean. This is a must-try.

CAO Gold Honey: made with high quality orange blossom honey. Together with fine tobaccos, this is an exquisite, delicate blend with a faint citrus flavor.

CAO Moontrance: an intricate blend of 100% natural exotic fruit and bourbon vanilla extracts. Offering a fantastic, caramel-like sweetness. When combined with a genuine Cameroon wrapper, Moontrance is sure to delight even the most skeptical of palates.

CAO American Slyce: this new, limited-edition blend was created by utilizing natural apple flavor and a special blend of spices. The end result is a delicious profile of cinnamon, apples, and nutmeg. CAO says it smells like freedom, and let’s face it nothing smells more American than fresh apple pie.

Customer Reviews of “CAO Flavours”
Having only tried those nasty “It’s Boy/Girl” cigars in the past, I was initially reluctant to accept a gifted cigar while recently enjoying a fire, beer and cool breeze off the Sea of Cortez. My benefactor, handed me a (CAO Flavours) Bella Vanilla and showed me the proper way to treat a cigar. I enjoyed it so much that I asked where I could find more. He turned me on to CI and I ordered the Flavours Sampler. My first cigar was the Bella Vanilla, just as pleasurable as the original. My second was the Moontrance. OMG, was it actually possible to smoke a better flavored cigar than the Bella? Moontrance got my best rating. Until…Earth Nectar. Each of us is unique in how we enjoy a cigar, but the Earth Nectar, at least for me, is therapeutic and damn near hypnotic. Want to relieve the stress of the day, easily reclining into a relaxing trancelike introspect? Light up the Earth Nectar! CI and CAO Flavours have gained a regular customer, and I can’t wait to pass on my first gifted cigar.

hey i got some of the moontrace along with the honey and cherrybombs here are my reviews moontrace:loved them, the guys in teh smoke pit have been begging me for them i sold half of the pack and now regret it haha, i had one marine tell me "that smells so good i want to eat it" honey: this one smells good and the wrapper tastes good but i guess i am too southern, it jsut doesn't have that sweet hunny taste i expect i am about to start trading these for some better smokes in the pit cherrybombs: ok these are my second fav, they have a very good taste to the smoke and to the wrapper, the tin poped open in my pocket during class and the guy sitting next to me asked if i was wearing some cherry cologn or something i knew what it was and closed the tin, these things are pungent yet they leave a great smell behind

I decided to try a cigar that was flavored. CAO always has been a good brand of cigar. I tried the Caramelo Joe Corona. The cigar is okay, but not great. It reminds me of the old Hav-A-Tampa brand in cigar aroma and taste. I doubt that I will order another box of them.

I tried the (Eileen's Dream) of this CAO line today. It was surprisingly fresh and tasty from the start. I don't typically smoke flavored cigars, but I enjoy a nice ACID cigar once of twice a week (infused, not flavored). This line was significantly cheaper than the ACID cigars, so I thought I would give them a try. Basically, if you like CAO cigars (I don't care for them) you will love these. They taste just like a CAO black, but with the Irish cream flavor added to them. CAO makes a fine quality cigar, excellent burn, excellent craftsmanship every time. The Dominican blend tobacco is just too mild for my palate. If CAO would make these with a high quality Nicaraguan spicy blend, they would definitely have a good alternate to ACID's. If you CAO guys are reading this, please try using a more peppery Nicaraguan long filler rather than the mild Dominican blends. If you enjoy a mild cigar and are looking for a high quality flavored cigar to try, you should try these. If you're a spicy cigar guy, try these too, you won't be disappointed (just wishing they were more spicy).

Moontrance (CAO Flavours)is by far my favorite smoke of CAO Flavors. The perfect aroma and taste mixed with premium mild tobaccos makes any cigar enthusiast come back for more. As for me I will be ordering plenty sample packs from CI for friends and family.

My FIL gave me a Moontrance and an Earth Nectar. Nice enough, enjoyable cigars. Today I bought a Tin of Eileen's Dream Cigarillos, my goodness, my only regret is that I didn't buy the full sized ones so there would be more there to smoke. One of the few cigars that I absolutely want to smoke down till it burns my fingers, and then have another.
LB of Silver Spring, MD
I will have to admit. I have never enjoyed flavored cigars. Mainly due to the saccharin and horrific aftertaste that accompanies them. However, after being introduced to the Moontrance I have a new found respect for them. This is probably the best flavored cigar on the market. The tip enhances the vanilla and bourbon flavors throughout the cigar. A plus for those that have a hard time finding the "flavors" within traditional unflavored cigars. The aroma that is dispersed is quite pleasing to all the secondhand smokers. This is a must if your looking for a flavored smoke.

Received some of these (CAO Flavours moontrance) for my birthday this year. Very well constructed cigar. Nice even burn, great flavor for an after dinner cigar.

I agree, if Moontrance were male, I'd be in heaven! Once a mth smoker, found the Moontrance quite by accident...fell in love immediately. Have tried the other CAO flavors; Eileen's Dream (ok), KarmaSutraSplash (nice, but), Vanilla (lovely), Mint/Cream (what's that name - nice, but). The basics is that they just don't measure up to Moontrance. I am looking forward to some of the new flavors...but gotta have that Moontance!!! Just Stellar!!

I always have a tin of Moontrance laying around. Moontrance has a really good taste and nice aroma that doesn't bother anyone.

If you have never tasted the CAO flavours, you're missing out. These aren't like those other flavored cigars you've tried. These are made with top shelf leaf and taste terrific. The moontrance is my favorite, but the other flavors are just as pleasing. I smoke these when I'm at a BBQ with non-smokers because nobody dislikes the smoke coming off of these cigars. Due yourself a favor and try a few, you won't regret it.
SB of Glendora, CA
If Moontrance were a man, I'd propose marriage in a heartbeat. Seductive, creamy with a hint of peach and vanilla goodness wrapped up nicely. Not too sweet. Delicious!
AN of Chico, CA
Maybe it's because I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but these cigars are the worst (Moontrance). If your looking for flavor, try Tatiana's Groovy Blue. The CAO Moonstruck and Vanilla that I have left over are going in the trash or I'm leaving them at work on the counter with a free sign attached to them. Just an awful taste, with a pungent aroma.
QS of Philadelphia, PA
The second sampling of this line, (gold honey) These are presented well, but offer nothing, really a waste of money. If you are after a flavored cigar you might try cuban honeys, prof. sila or erin go brah all far superior.
KG of Acton, ME
I just tried one of the CAO MoonTrance and let me tell you eveyone around the camp fire was enjoying the nice smell and i was enjoying the great taste i am going to order a box of these today...

I have tried all flavors (CAO Flavours) but the Cherrybomb, just haven't gotten around to it yet. So here goes: Moontrance: My favorite of the lot. Tastes as it is named, smooth, aromatic, sweet and sublime. Great for social settings, no one is going to complain about this smell once it is all gone. The perfect after dinner treat! Bella Vanilla: A solid smoke. Sweet, simple, aromatic, with a clean aftertaste. Great any time of day. Karmasutrasplash: I do not like this one. The mint/fruit combo is overpowering, and did not taste good. It is cool smoking though, the flavor was just too strong. Earth Nectar: This one is also good. Great aroma, tasted like it is advertised- red wine, raisins, a little woody, very organic. Not very sweet, with a complex flavor that is good anytime of day. Eileens Dream: I do not care for this one as much. The coffee flavor seems to compound the aftertaste, while it has a good taste while it is being smoked, it took a while to get the taste out of my mouth. I would probably enjoy it more if someone was next to me smoking one rather than smoking it myself.
BC of Chattanooga, TN
(CAO Flavours)karmasutra splash was amazing...cant wait to try more flavors
CC of Bethlehem , PA
CAO flavors says it all. An honest CAO cigar and all that implies. And flavors in the cigar not on it. A flavor that stays with the smoke to the sweet end. A welcome addition to my flavortites. This is something everyone should try and decide for yourself. So far the golden honey is the best blend of tobacco and flavor.

The description of the Earth Nectar is WAY off! Here's how it went down: The wrapper was sweet and yummy like an Al Capone. The smoke smelled good. I soon found out this is where the goodness ended. The first three quarters were very peppery/spicey and hot. The description talks about a bunch of yummy flavors; maybe in the wrapper (which are undiscernable), but not in the flavor of the smoke. It was so damn peppery it burned my tongue and I couldn't taste anything. It was like eating a slice of pizza that is too hot, but without the satisfaction. I only had a couple of draws on the last quarter where the spiceyness died down a little, making it tolerable, but then it became too hot to hold. It left me with a coffee and leather aftertaste the rest of the day. Save your money.
JB of Tampa, FL
I have tried two of the Cao flavours, Moontrance and Eileens dream. Moonstrance has a nice flavor and smell. I enjoy them very much. Eileens Dream on the other hand has a very subtle flavor that come out more the more you smoke it. I enjoy them both it just depends on what i feel like at that time. Eileens Dream is more on the mild side were as the Moontrance is a bit stronger. Both are great cigars.
BT of Sierra Vista, AZ
So I tried my first one of these today (Caramelo Joe), and was SWEET. I like some flavored cigar, and if very sweet is your cup of tea, then go for it. This just wasn't really for me and there seemed to be times when my mouth was wondering if I was smoking a cigar or eating candy. Just to much for me. aside from that...the taste was good, it burned steady and even, no complaints on that stuff.
CC of Hinesville, GA
Ordered the sampler and smoked the Earth Nectar first and wasn't really impressed...then smoked the Moontrance and fell in love with this stick...even burn and great taste...not a flavor kind of smoker myself but it was everything you advertised about and it indeed relaxed me after a crappy day in Afghanistan. Ordered some more to keep the edge of while I'm here serving my sentence...LOL...
EJ of Tyndall Afb, FL
I tried the CAO Moontrance for the first time and was not disappointed at all. It had a great taste and the aroma is fantastic. If you are a fan of flavoured cigars this is a great one to try. not to strong or overpowering but just the right amount. great job with this cigar!
RA of Central Islip, NY
Myself and my unit are currently stationed in Afghanistan and are all avid cigar smokers. We have ordered several sets of cigars from cigar international and the CAO Flavours and Acid Blondie's are by far the best so far. I prefer the earth-nectar and moontrace the best, but all flavors of the assortment are good. I would recommend this to anyone.
JG of Cowpens, SC
Picked up a Eileen's Dream Petit Corona on a whim, and let me tell you! GREAT! Smooth, no burn, no aftertaste, no overpowering flavor. Great draw and I am getting more than one this time!
BD of Palm Coast, FL
I am military and currently deployed. I was recently invited to join the cigar smoking club at the smoke pit. I accepted the invitation and was handed a "New Guy" welcome flavored cigar. I quickly learned the enjoyment of taking time away from work with good friends and a relaxing cigar (I am not a cigarette smoker and have never been). I was schooled in the art of cigar smoking and proper care of your smokes. That day I created a CI account and ordered the Father's Day special which included cigars, humidor, cutter & a lighter (Great Deal!). I also ordered a brown bag special which included a few flavored CAO cigars. After bumming many cigars while waiting for my shipment, I was able to try many different types and flavors. However, after lighting up a CAO Bella Vanilla I thought this is an awesome flavor and I found my favorite. But the next day I smoked the CAO MoonTrance, WOW! I was floored. I think over 30 minutes went by and I hadn't even taken part in the smoke pit conversations. I was so deep in a MoonTrance and enjoying the moment that my buddies had to snap me out of it. Thank you CAO for making a cigar that will always be in my humidor and thank you CI for putting it in my brown bag sampler for me to discover. You have a customer for life!
FO of Fairfield, CA
I've only tried CAO just recently, and the Moontrance was a decent smoke for the money. Good draw and burn but, i also tried Eileen's Dream and that smoke was not a good experience....hopefully the other sticks of Eileen's Dream will be better. But the Moontrance was worth the money. CI ROCKS!
I've recently begun trying flavored cigars. I was already a big fan of CAO's lines (Brazilia is my favorite, goes great with Guinness!), so naturally I had to give these guys a shot. I started off with the sampler pack to play the field and see which one would be my clear winner. What I found is that these cigars are very hit-or-miss when it comes to their packing. I've gotten several that were like trying to suck a cement smoothie through a straw. I've tried five different flavours as cigarillo tubos, petit coronas, and the coronas, and I've had the same issue with a sizeable number of them, regardless of what size or flavour they were. It's a shame too because, aside from the Caramelo Joe, these cigars are delicious. The good news is that they aren't terribly expensive, and some careful pinching will allow for an easier draw. My personal favorite of the bunch is Eileen's Dream. It's a great combination of chocolate truffles, Irish cream, and hints of Irish Whiskey towards the end. It goes wonderfully with a nice glass of Jameson. The Cherrybomb is a close second, and I found it went great with Cherry Coke with a hint of either Vodka or Whiskey. Bella Vanilla is actually fairly sweet, but is still a good smoke and definitely worth a try. Moontrance also faired well, but was a long way from being my favorite. For those of you reading their respective descriptions, I would say Bella Vanilla is closer in taste to a vanilla cupcake, while Moontrance reminds me more of adding Vanilla-flavored creamer to very mild coffee. Overall, I would greatly recommend trying the sampler pack for yourself, as it will help you to determine which one is right for you.
BO of Merritt Island, FL
A sweet and savory cigar. I purchased the petite coronas because I wasn't certain that I'd like them. It was very enjoyable. It's a nice change of pace cigar.
BK of Floyds Knobs, IN
I just enjoyed the CAO Moontrance. After the Cherry Bomb I lost faith in the CAO flavored series. YOu made the Moontrance and totally redeemed yourself! I enjoyed this thoroughly. The smell was awesome, the draw was smooth, little bit of sweetness at the tip. This was a good smoke. I would buy this one again. Im now looking forward to the Eileens dream!
DS of Cedar Falls, IA
I acquired one of the sampler packs by accident. It was meant as a gift but was accidentally sent to me. So this means you get a two-fer review! 1. As a gift, this was sent to a younger couple who just had a baby. Though they are not cigar smokers, they did find the gift charming and pleasant. The cigars are light so they won't discourage newbies, and aroma alone is pleasing. 2. I myself am not a flavored cigar connesueuirer (however you spell it). However many of my friends found them to be quite enjoyable, especially the Vanilla flavored sticks. I on the other hand found them to be too light, ashy and the flavor does not seem to match the aroma. I had the Irish Cream.
Moontrance not much to say other than this cigar is awesome. It has a great mellow taste from start to finish. By far one of my favorite smokes
I had gotten a CAO Cherry Bomb corona in a sampler from CI and thoroughly enjoyed it. So for my last order to CI I thought I'd add a couple of these. Nope, out of stock. Oh well, I thought I'd throw in a tin of the cherry bomb cigarillos instead. Well, I'm extremely disappointed in these. I lit one up this evening and nothing is the same. Sickeningly sweet wrapper and cheap harsh taste. Now realize the CAO corona is a long filler cigar with nice wrapper and binder. The CAO cigarillo has a cheap wrapper with brown paper binder and trash filler. Seriously brown paper for the binder. And a separate scallop cut short paper binder at the head. I'm guessing this is saturated in the cheap cherry flavor. So if you like CAO flavours, stay well away from the cigarillo tins. Brown paper? Better to be patient and wait on the coronas to be restocked.
RM of Huntsville, AL
The flavor was nice, the draw was a little tight.
MC of Gambier, OH
As a disclaimer, I will say I did not buy these from CI and instead picked up a few from my local B&M. That was my first mistake. They were over priced compared to CI's great deals. The cigars smelled fantastic, tasted great and blew away any Acid I've ever tried. The only problem is they are small and had an extremely tight draw. No matter what I did, what style of cut, every single one was hard to smoke. I will definitely try these again, but next time it will be an order from CI.
WM of Grovetown, GA
If you are looking for a good fast smoke you could take after lunch at work, when your boss/clients have give you a hard time I recommend the Eileen's Dream Mini (Cigarillos). Surprisingly it has a lot of smoke with a great sweet taste which I enjoy. If I evaluate this cigarillo under those conditions for me its an 9/10. Again only under those conditions.
RM of Arroyo, PR
A great little cigar with plenty of good taste and flavor. This cigar is great when you don't have time for a full cigar which could take more time, this little jewel is perfect for parties in which anyone who smells it, will want one, so bring a few extra with you. Even people who don't smoke, just love the flavor full aroma.
I received a Moontrance in a sampler pack I picked up. I found it very hard to draw. The taste started out very sweet but went away fast. It's not something I will buy in the future. I have to say it did burn nice and the ash held very well.
GD of Washington, NJ
I wasn't a fan of the infused flavor in the Moontrance. It did smoke well in my opinion.
RH of Bridgewater, MA
Very smooth and tasty, they were great for when I'd go grab a cup of espresso on my lunch break. Good choice for cigarillos.
AP of Allegan, MI
One of if not my all time fav, great great flavor, very mellow taste. Not over powered at all. The aroma is all that and more!
AN of rockford, MI
Cherry flavor is very good, probably best of these small flavored cigars.
JC of Goddard, KS
Nice flavor for a little smoke, but I think the size 38 Cherry Bombs are MUCH better. Will be ordering those next.
CS of Harrisburg, PA
Very good, smooth, excellent flavor.
MS of Muncie, IN
Perfect size for a quick 10 minute smoke. Flavor and aroma are pretty good, but not the best I've had. Very mild.
LH of Mazeppa, MN
A must try. Very Very good cigar. Rates right up there with ACID Blonde. I prefer the MOONSTRUCK .GOOOOOD!
AW of athens, TX
Great taste and very relaxing. It has a wonderful aroma and it taste good to the last puff. These should be made in the Gordo.
EW of Virginia Beach, VA
I have become a regular; these are so tasty. People around me love the smell; CAOs really have flavor.... have tried all of them and Moontrance is my favorite.... will keep on buying them...
Nice little quickie stoggies...I keep a few tins of the cigarillos around for the ladies and as a change Nevet ever do I hear a discouraging word whenever I light one up !! Nicely sweet, but tobacco flavor shines throughout CAO has it down to a science Try them all...they're exceptional !!
SB of Fontana, CA
In my top three.
JJ of Cape Coral, FL
Smooth smoke, ....mild and chill.
JS of Washington, DC
Awesome little smokes. I enjoyed them because there wasn't too much of the infused flavor, it was nicely balanced.
LM of morehead city, NC
Very disappointing, My tin had no flavor. Will not buy again.
Great flavor in a cigarillo. Perfect for a quick smoke! Highly recommend.
EC of Albany, OR
Amazing cigars. I have tried most of them and they are always a good, flavorful smoke.
WW of Hamilton, VA
The Earth Nectar cigarillos are a favorite of my girlfriend...and I might add I've enjoyed one every once in a while too. These have, as the name implies, a mild earthy flavor with hints of red wine, hazelnuts, and chocolate, balanced by a sweetness that isn't overpowering (as a lot of flavored cigars can be). The only other flavor I've tried is Eileen's Dream, which is a silky smooth Irish Cream-flavored bit of wonderful, but as stated my girlfriend always wants Earth Nectar. The cigarillo size is convenient for quick smoke breaks or when "less classy" friends just want to have a cigarette or 2 and don't want to wait on you to finish off a stogie. Each burns for about 15-20 minutes, so if you want the smoking experience but don't want to commit to a full-size cigar these are a great option. The tins of 10 also make it easy to carry some with you wherever you go. Great product from CAO at a great CI always!
DR of Bowdon, GA
Box came sealed within the main box and wrapped perfect for shipping. I can't wait to light one up and enjoy a nice glass of scotch. Perfect aromas of exotic fruit and bourbon vanilla fill the palate. CI always has the best prices and deals going on.....They can't be beat!!!
JK of Peoria, AZ
Cherrybombs are a good cigar, not great, but good for a quick smoke when you're trying to complete your honey to do lists. But they don't hold a candle to my personal fav's CI Legends Copper Label.
JD of Detroit, MI
Does any one else find this stogie hard to draw. Got em rolled a little tight, good flavor as always.
BC of Waynesville, NC
Got these for my wife and she enjoys them. They're perfect when you don't have a lot of time but want a smoke.
WW of Whitman, MA
