Pay no mind to the man behind the curtain...
There's not much I can say about Rocky Patel that hasn't already been said, so I won't even try. What I will say is that he's got countless 90+ rated cigars, so when he pushes out a new blend, you'd best get to it quick. With that being said, the Emerald has arrived, and all the boys at the office couldn't be happier!
The Rocky Patel Emerald changes up the expectations we've grown from Rocky Patel. At the mellower end of medium-bodied, this Ecuadorian Habano-wrapped cigar is complex as can be, with a dual binder with tobacco from Mexico and Nicaragua and a long-filler mix of Nicaraguan and Honduran leaf, you'll really want to sit and focus to enjoy every facit of the Emerald. With a profile that shifts from natural sweetness and baking spices to leather and pepper, the flavors will twist and turn after every puff, so sit back, relax, and try a Rocky Patel Emerald today!
Rocky Patel Emerald was named #6 Cigar of 2025 and received a well-deserved 95-rating noting: "While most cigars have one binder leaf, this one has two of them, one from Mexico and the other Nicaraguan. The filler is a mix of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco, and it’s all held together by an Ecuadoran wrapper. The result is lots of ground coffee, leather and hickory notes, with just a touch of spicy black pepper."
