If you're a regular Montecristo or Ashton fan, or otherwise just enjoy mellow cigars, Magellan might be right up your alley. To many, it's a comparably smooth, pleasant and creamy Dominican handmade. So instead of shelling out 100+ bucks per box, you can burn these instead and pay well under $1 apiece. Hoooah! I think that's why many of my customers call it the 'poor man's Montecristo.'
