The man behind the magic, Litto Gomez, studied the art of tobacco growing and blending for years before crafting his first LFD blend. At first, LFD was another mellow Dominican offering. Until after tireless hours of scheming and studying, Litto Gomez developed the ultra-refined, ligero-laced lovelies at hand today.

There's a few different wrappers in the mix, but if you love dark, rich Maduros, you're picking a winner regardless of where you land. The same basic ingredients are in the mix here: Dominican binder and long-fillers, with a perfectly applied wrapper leaf on top. Either way, you're gonna get loads of pepper, earth, leather, and a fantastically complex and full-bodied taste.

The La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero has received a 92-point rating, with the review noting: "Small and intense, the cigar delivers prominent notes of toasted coconut, wet leather, raisin and dark chocolate.
