A new spin on one of Foundation's classics...
The original Charter Oak blends were created by Nick Melillo as an homage to his grandfather, who was from Connecticut. Each blend had its own way of being traced back to the Constitution State, and each box features the Charter Oak, a prominent tree in a field among tobacco plants. These new blends bear the same name, but have been amped up in the strength and flavor department!
The Charter Oak Pasquale features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-fillers. This may sound familiar, because it's the same basic structure of the original Charter Oak Maduro, but rest assured, the body of this cigar has been ramped up to eleven. The Pasquale has enough kick to allow it to compete in the same weight class as the Wise Man Maduro or the Tabernacle. Notes of white pepper, cocoa, earthiness, leather, and a bit of baking spice round out this medium to full-bodied treat, and much like the original, it pays an excellent homage to the state of Connecticut and Grandpa Melillo!
