Hoyo de Monterrey is a brand steeped in tradition. From its humble beginnings decades past, to the modern version of Hoyo with a vast portfolio of blends, it all started with tradition. To celebrate that, the folks at HdM have decided to grace us with the Hoyo de Monterrey Rojo!
The Hoyo de Monterrey Rojo uses a Honduran wrapper from the Jamastran Valley atop a Nicaraguan binder and long-fillers from The Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The Rojo has plenty of flavor to go around, with medium-bodied notes of dark fruit, citrus peel, nuttiness, a bit of earth, and spice every puff of the way.
