The Xikar PuroTemp is a remote, wireless hygrometer system that allows you to accurately monitor up to 3 humidors without even opening the lid. Includes one sensor, additional sensors sold separately. 

Features include:
- Temperature & Relative Humidity readout
- Can monitor up to 3 humidors within 60ft range
- Displays Fahrenheit or Celsius
- Accuracy (RH) +/- 2%; (Temp) +/- 1°C/F
- 12/24 hour clock
- The remote and sensor both use 2 x AAA batteries (included)

Makes checking humidity easy from a remote spot. Master display on the table next to my recliner lets me keep track of what's going on iny humidor.

When using the salt test to check the accuracy, the device was 6 per cent off (low). Now that I know that I adjust accordingly. Still nice to know what is going on inside your humidor without opening but still not excited about having to do the math.

All I can say is WOW! Devices work as stated. I have a 300ct and 100 ct humidor. The 100ct is in my office and the 300ct sits in my living room. Hygrometers work perfectly! I would recommend purchasing this product.

I decided to buy a second humidor specifically for aging cigars; that way, I could put my primary humidor out for parties and not worry that someone was taking something I didn't want taken yet (or at all - it's my private stash, too!). Anyway, the new stick box has no glass in it, which means I'd have to open it to check temp and humidity. So of course, when I saw this, I had to check it out. I have to say, I love it. The base unit sits on my dresser, while both humidors are tucked away in a bedroom closet. I have a smaller humidor as well, and I'm going to fill it with honey cigarillos, for folks who might not want a full cigar. So as soon as they're not on backorder I plan to get two more sensors, since the base station will connect to a total of three. The digital hygrometer I have now will probably wind up being used for my travel case or something like that.

I have it set up in my coolidor and sensor is dead on 69% going to order 2 more sensors for my other desktop humidors. What I like most is never have to open up to see what humidity is and a lifetime warranty.

So I bought this at Cigarfest 2014 and bought an additional two hygrometers on CI for my humidors. Some honest feedback. The accuracy of the hygrometers seem spot on - no issues with that. The problems I've faced are. 1)The reporting range is limited. I live in a two bedroom apartment and with my hygrometers in the 2nd bedroom, I'm unable to place the base unit in my bedroom. This is 30 ft away. The screen goes blank. When I bring the reporting unit in the same room as my hygrometers the readings return. 2) It doesn't have the temp/durability I'd expect. I put the hygrometer in my kegerator and at about 38 degrees the unit shuts off. When I take it out of my kegerator the readings return. In summary, if you can keep the reporting base relatively close to your humidors then this is great. If you hope to use it at a far distance, it's probably going to provide some difficulties. It's good product....
