Excellent cigar cutter.
I like cigar related gadgets almost as much as I like cigars. The MTX easily delivers a clean, precise cut, leaving the cap intact. I find it easier to use than my grip cutter. Most of my cigars are in the 50 - 54 ring size. I haven't tried it on anything larger The four tools embedded in the handles are ok - nothing special. But it's the cutter that makes the MTX an outstanding gadget. Finally - I didn't notice the MTX was backordered until after I ordered it. Even so it arrived at my home in just over a week. Another example of exellent CI service.

A very smooth and sharp cigar cutter. It is really nice to be able to trim the cigar a little bit if the test draw of the cigar isn't quite right or if the first cut wasn't perfectly straight. I also like the fact that my cap of my cigar doesn't explode like a confetti popper when I cut into it, unlike my double guillotine cigar cutters.
Cuts like a warm knife through butter. I'm typically a fan of punches, but you cannot go wrong with this cutter.

I bought two about seven years ago. I keep one on my car key ring and the other hangs off my motorcycle wallet chain. They are still as sharp as the day I purchased them. The small fold up design is great. When I break it out to snip my gars people are amazed at the design and functionality. This cutter won't disappoint.

Man I love this cutter! I mean I really love this cutter. I bought two many years ago and they disappeared into some black hole. Actually they fold up small and can get lost easily. I finally broke down and bought another, but I keep it on a chain in a cigar bag. This is a great tool for adjusting lighters, bleeding lighters and more. Overall a great tool and well made. Just don't lose it.
The cutter looks great and it cuts great. But I'm shopping for another style for the simple reason there is nothing to keep it from cutting your pride and joy cigar if you keep it in your pants pocket.
This is a great cigar tool. Perfect to trim your smoke just the way you want. I carried mine for over a year broke it and Xikar replaced it no problem, no questions asked, they just sent me a new one. This a a great company that stands behind their products.
I am absolutely in love with this cutter. Better than anything else I've used. Sharp as hell. Perfect for those of us that lop a chunk off and perfect for those of us that just barely shave the cap off. Whatever your fancy, this will do the trick.
