They kept ripping the caps of my cigars. But they were cheap. I kind of expected it. I gave them away. I now have a Colibri V-Cut which I absolutely L-U-V.

I prefer the V-cut over the guillotine cut any day. Although these are a little pricey for the quality as they do not hold up as long as the more expensive ones they do get the job done.

Terrible cutters. Out of the two I received, one did not even have a sharpen edged to it. It was like they forgot to even put a cutting edge on it. The one that did have a cutting edge to it...it seem dull and just tore up my cigar when I used it. Awful cutters, CI shouldn't even offer them for sale at all.

Of the 2 pack V cutters, one cuts pretty good and one is poor. The poor cutter acts more as a bulldozer; it makes the initial cut then pushes the remainder of the intended cut away cap portion thru the rest of the cigar until it rips the cap and wrapper on the back side. The poor cutter is now relegated to the garage for easy use while doing yard work and the good one goes in the golf bag. It might be worth the $10 if you're willing to get one good cutter out of two.
