Overall I'm happy with this humidor, I'm running a humi-care 1000 humidifier with 2 external fans and I'm having no problems with humidity. The reason I'm running the extra fans is just like others stated, it's a large unit and you need as much circulation as possible to keep the humidity even throughout. The unit does have an internal dual AC outlet to run your humidifier and whatnot which is nice. My only gripes are the fit around the AC outlet in the back is kinda sloppy, I sealed it with some clear caulk and all is well now. Also for some reason, they only include 12 wooden dowels used for hanging the adjustable shelves, but there are 3 shelves and 4 trays. So you will need to purchase the additional 16 dowels if you wish to space out the trays instead of just stacking them. 4.5 stars out of 5.
....It came with heavy casters and an internal electric outlet. Construction is Spanish cedar veneer over 1/2" MDF except the back which is veneer over 1/4" masonite (think Walmart). The seal on mine is OK though i'm having to use twin Staebel humidifiers to keep it evenly humidified. Tried 2 Oasis xl plus that had to be reloaded every 24 hours and had a 6 point spread in RH. The price point is right (you get what you pay for) just not a craftsman piece. For the money it does what I want it to.
Bought this cabinet and was very happy with it shipping was fast however the FEDEX driver dropped it off in my front yard and said it would cost more to put inside? I was shocked but the humidor was well worth the money spent on it seals very well i would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a large cabinet.
Well, I seem to be the first to dip into commenting on the Tower of Power Humi, but I don't care. First off, CI did a wonderful job orchestrating the outstanding delivery from Quality Importers in Florida up to Virginia and then to final delivery Co. close to the states here. I got a call this afternoon and he was on his way to my house. All this inside one single week. Set it up in a few and even had some treasures to add. It is gaining a foothold at this time, building up character as we peek? The craftsmanship is breath taking, as is evidence of its weight and solid oak construction. The glass door is perfection as is all the working hardware, shelves and trays. I also did a good job matching our Dutch Amish oak dining room table, its handmade and the two match perfectly. WOW, I could not be more pleased.
I PURCHASED ONE OF THE Tower of Power Humidor - 2000+ Capacity RECENTLY ALONG WITH A Cigar Oasis II - Ultra-Deluxe. THIS IS A GREAT COMBINATION. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND ONE THE ADDITIONAL FANS FOR THE HUMIDIFIER AS IT IS A LARGE CASE. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HUMIDOR AND KEEPS MY CIGARS HERE IN TEXAS (READ VERY LOW HUMIDITY) IN EXCELANT CONDITION. ALL OF MY FRIENDS LOOK AT IT WITH ENVY IN THEIR EYES. I HAVE RENTED OUT SEVERAL DRAWERS TO FRIENDS. I WORK THAT OUT ON A PERCENTAGE BASIS. HONESTLY THIS WORKS GREAT AND IS A WORK OF ART. I HAVE TO ADD WATER EVERY 6 WEEKS.
