A mild remix
A name like “Big Payback” could make someone unfamiliar with Matt Booth’s Room 101 project a bit nervous. Creepy masks on the box, an ominous name… this sounds like a prop in a gangster film. Well, rest assured, there’s nothing to fear here. Room 101 Big Payback was Matt Booth’s thank you to his fans for years of dedication. Huge cigars at an affordable price, offered in cabinets of fifty to keep your humidor stocked up, what’s not to love?
To make The Big Payback even more enticing, Booth recently added a Connecticut version to his portfolio. Produced in Camacho’s factory in Honduras, wrapped with a flawless Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf, and packed with Dominican binder, I knew I needed to try this one when it came in. This has been added to my list of go-to sticks whenever I’m looking for a mellow cigar to pair with a cup of coffee in the morning. Creamy notes of coffee, hay, cedar, and soft spices make this a balanced treat for any cigar enthusiasts. Add in the price, and the 60+ ring gauges, and you can puff on these for hours without breaking a sweat.
