Not as good as the RP red band Sun Grown but pretty close. I’ll buy them again since I like the aroma and RP’s have quite a good portfolio of good smokes. Goes well with Tulley or Red Breast believe it or not. I have had a canoe or two though so that is the only thing I was surprised about. Price point makes it worth while though.

Great flavor but has uneven burn.

One of my favorite cigars, I think one of RPs best. Very flavorful, burns great and not too nicotined powered but has plenty of body for me.

Being an avid smoker, I thoroughly enjoyed these. It’s a strong smoke for strong occasions-definitely an early evening cigar. It’s consistent from beginning to end.

I didn’t have the ‘nads to give a single star just because I didn’t like the flavor. And I didn’t have the temerity to give a single star because, as it turns out, I really don’t care for Lancero size and I was just experimenting. Now I’ll give you the tale of 2 cigars, both beautifully wrapped in a gorgeous maduro but one firm and easy to get along with, eager to please while the other was stingy and hard as the core of an old whore’s heart. The one with an easy draw did have hints (strong hints) of star anise and once we got going I thought there was a promising root beer and spicy sweetness mixed with leather and hops. The star anise was off putting but I admit it was blended beautifully and had a very unique and interesting flavor. The other I had would hardly draw. I decided to cut a half inch off the end and it didn’t help but it did pretty much wreck the bitch. There was a very tough chunk of tobacco or cord wood or something running right to the cap. It began to come apart. Mouth sprinkled with tobacco bits. The flavor was like chewing on a piece of double dose black licorice. It was such an intense licorice flavor that I could not smoke more than a few inches - besides the fact that it was all I could do to get it to draw at all. So, partly my fault for getting Lancero that I ended up not appreciating and also not the cigar maker’s fault that I don’t like star anise, but the construction and “overwhelming” unbelievably unbalanced flavor in the second cigar earn a very generous 3 star rating from me.

The Rocky Patel Sun Grown Maduro Sixty is a great cigar to enjoy. Full bodied flavor with an easy draw. The 60X60 gives you a GOOD HOUR to relax and enjoy some Bourbon.

There always better after about 2 months in the headdress. After 3 There incredible.

These are great tasting cigars. To me, they have a bit of a bite at first that just gets smooth with a nice sweetness more of it burned. This is a great smoke. I have seen uneven burn reviews, yet I've been lucky maybe? Mine have all burned perfect. It's a smooth, medium smoke(my preference) , even burn with wonderful flavor. Thanks RP for another great one.

Very nice experience. Burns slow even and stays cool. Easy draw. Medium to full body yet so smooth makes it seem milder. Lots of flavors. Started off a little salty. It was nutty and taste of wood. A little fruit and not too much pepper. Glad I purchased them and I will buy more.

I love the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Maduro. This has been my favorite cigar for awhile. The construction, smell, flavor, and burn are always perfect with these cigars.
