Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley, is no stranger to 90+ ratings. The brand has a packed stable of winners, including plenty on the Top 25 Cigars of the Year list, and there’s an Alec Bradley blend to fit any palate. Super-premiums are Alan Rubin’s thing, and his commitment to quality doesn’t stop no matter how low his prices go. Case in point: Puck by Alec Bradley. 

Puck is a box-pressed beauty with a Cuban-Sandwich style filler, that blows all other value brands out of the water. The Habano leaves used in Puck’s filler are the very same leaves utilized in some of the brand’s higher-priced lines, and are gracefully covered by a dark & oily Honduran Habano wrapper. Hand ‘em out to your friends and they’ll think you paid twice as much when they get a taste of the rich notes of espresso, pepper, and cocoa. Truly another winning blend from Alan Rubin.

This cigar has an aroma of mountain aire. It lights easily, and gives off a beautiful aroma. A wonderful cigar, indeed.

Very affordable daily stick is loosely packed and burns irregularly. Pretty mild and unobtrusive but the normal AB quality is not there. Will not purchase again.

Nice surprise. You'd never know it was a mixed filler (Cuban Sandwich LOL) stick. Nice crisp Box-Press. If you enjoy Habano Oscuro type blends like La Herencia Cubana CORE or Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary you should enjoy these. Not as full flavored as the two great blends I mentioned but it does reach a solid medium flavor and body. The price makes this an excellent buy.

The first one out of the box, I’m very impressed. Great flavor, tast similar to his Alec Bradley lost art! Wow what a price. I recommend any kind of a connoisseur put a few of these in your humidor! Great draw tons of smoke!

Every so often I smoke one of these and I think wow what a great value for as little as they cost but then quite often they will have hard pack in the middle or stems or lightly packed and too much air getting through burning uneven. Too bad because they taste pretty good and they look like they're constructed pretty well but they I'm not rolled consistently

Overall a good version of the Churchill. With a uneven burning filler, maybe better cut down to 5× 52. I have smoked the white label version but come back to Puck.

Obviously affordable. It doesn't have a great first few drags but once it warms up it's not bad. Like most of the reviews state... its a good cigar when you want a quick smoke

I am a big fan of box pressed cigars, these were made well out of seemingly good leaf. I would say they were easily worth the sale price I paid. All of them drew and smoked well, which seems to be an issue with everyman priced cigars lately. Will buy again for sure.
