I haven't had Partagas in a while. First of all, I liked how they were packaged. The 5 packs having a sheet of cedar and the sticks not dry. A good even slow burn. Flavors of smoked vanilla, creamy and smooth. The construction seemed great, no swelling of the filler or wrapper and stayed well intact.

I would have given them 3 and a half if the option was there to do it. These are slightly harsh but a pretty good second cigar as they can get over top of the first cigar and deliver a decent experience. I buy them when they are on sale. I have seen larger '60' ring gauge cigars...it seems just a little bit of a stretch. Bottom line, I always reorder these when they are getting low in my humidor.

Flavor is great, however, anytime I’ve purchased these cigars in the past the draw is a bit tight and the cigars have always needed constant touching up with the lighter on each and every cigar. I had not purchased these in over a year but thought I’d give them another try in my rotation. The results on the first two I’ve smoked after letting them rest in my humidor has been the same. Great flavor, but poor burn hence the 3 star rating.

Terrific cigar. I wasn't really sure what to expect as I haven't smoked a Partagas cigar in a long time, but the reviews were good, so I tried it. I'm glad I did -- it might have been my most enjoyable cigar so far this year (2023). It burned perfectly, had a consistent volume of smoke, and tasted delicious. It IS a very strong cigar, as others have said here. It went very well with the small glass of dark rum that I enjoyed along with it. I highly recommend this cigar. I do wish it came in a longer, larger version so that it could be enjoyed longer. At that, it lasted me about an hour, and never went out. And THAT is very valuable to me.
