Made for special occasions

Padron 1926 Serie Maduro was originally released in 2001 to celebrate the 75th birthday of family patriarch Jose Padron, and created a legacy and a legendary line of cigars that still rakes in top marks nearly 20 years later. Padron has discovered the formula for creating true cigar masterpieces, and they pulled out all the stops for the 1926 Serie.

The blend is 100% Nicaraguan tobacco with a gritty, toothy maduro wrapper that begs to be savored. Te flavors are a complex and delicate dance between sweet and spicy, with underlying notes of anise, cedar, oak, and espresso that wash over the palate and instantly induce a state of blissful relaxation. They’re pricey but impossible to resist, so treat yourself with a full-bodied Padron 1926 Serie Maduro today. You deserve it.

Padron 1926 Serie Maduro boasts a bevy of 90+ ratings, recently being awarded with a 93-point rating, which noted: “An abundance of cocoa powder layers the palate with each puff accented by notes of leather, herbs, wood and a licorice finish.”

Sometimes I don't have a lot of time to enjoy my 1926 #9, so the #35 is a quick alternative.

Stop reading this review and but this cigar right now - it is superb!
Stop reading this review, put these cigars in your cart, and purchase them immediately, before they go out of stock again. No, seriously, buy them now, and come back and read the rest of the reviews later. These cigars are spectacular, incredible, superb. They didn't pull a 97-rating out of a hat, they earned that. I wanted to know what a 97-rated cigar was like, now I do, and I also found my new top-shelf cigar. Smoke whatever you like - this cigar is amazing.

Top of my lineup!
My current favorite.

“MEH” not bad but not a home run.
First off I’m a huge Padrón fan. This one just didn’t do much for me. I found it slightly pale and stayed average throughout. Maybe I was expecting more but I’d take many other pardons over this. The 1964 runs circles around this in my opinion. The Draw was flawless and burned excellent on all of them..construction is rarely an issue with these guys. Spend your money elsewhere in Padrón’s line up and I think you’ll be happy.

An OUTSTANDING cigar!
Had one today. I’ve said this many times but the 1926 is one of the best, if not the best, smokes ever made! I had this one in the humidor for a few months and it was absolutely wonderful from beginning to the nub. As smooth and flavorfilled as it gets. No bite or bitterness. I just don’t know of any cigar that even comes close...well the 1964 Imperial is equally good, in a different way. Padron is the best!

The best! The very best!
I've always loved Padron going back 20 years. Yet the 1926 No. 1 Maduro is the top of the heap, and an extraordinary example of the cigar makers art. Everything about this cigar, from initial draw to the very end of the stick (burned my fingers more than once) says rare quality. Yes, they are pricey, but at my age you pay for what you want.My top three favorite cigars: Cohiba Esplendido Pardon 1926 No.1 Maduro Partagas Series E No. 2

Best cigar I have ever smoked!
Padrons are my main cigar. I love their consistent construction, great daw, smoke output but most of all the full bodied flavor without any harsh pepper or bite. The flavors are complex and all blend together well, especially if they have rested in the humidor awhile. I love both the 1964 and 1926 for different reasons. The 64 is a bit more lively while the 26 is deep and complex. Both are great! The 1926 maduro number 1 is truly the best cigar I have ever smoked! Worth every penny!

Padron 1926 Series No. 1 Maduro
Expensive but worth it - at least to me. Very consistent construction and burn, tremendous draw with excellent smoke volume, and the flavor really suits my palate - lots of flavor and full bodied but not harsh. I always try to keep at least a few Padrons in the box!

BEST CIGAR I'VE EVER SMOKED!
After smoking many fine cigars I've found that I'm partial to A.J. Fernandez blends; however, Padron is in a category all on it's own. The 1926 Series No 6 is easily the BEST cigar I've ever had the pleasure of smoking. I smoke them on special occasions. Well worth the price!

The Best of the Best
The Padron 1926 series is beyond praising. It is a full body cigar that is as smooth as it comes. It almost has a mildly sweet hint to it. Hard to explain. It burns perfectly every single time. I seriously have never had even one that didn’t draw perfect and even burn perfect. Even though they can be pricey, it is well worth it to treat yourself to a smoke as good as this. You will not be disappointed.

Husband thinks I'm the best wife for choosing this cigar!
Hubby had received one of these as a gift and was absolutely in love.. so I purchased them for his birthday. I love the rich aroma, and he says it's the best cigar he has had in years. Pricey, but highly recommended as a special occasion.

Better than good
No question this is the absolute best cigar I have ever smoked. It began with the Padron 2000 serie maduro and I have been trying them step by step but will probably stop with the 1926 #6 Maduro - it IS that good. Totally recommend.

Padron's best
Number 9 maduro is a favorite Padron cigar. I've smoked the full catalog from Padron, and this to me is their best offering. I think it's the notes of cherry that I pick up at various points during the smoke. Of course, the draw is impeccable, as any other Padron. These burn even, and I seldom relight. They have moderate strength, but a very full flavor profile. Just a fantastic stick all around. I'm glad they're not cheap; that way they're always in stock.
