Oliva Serie O Maduro

O yes.

Building on the success of the Oliva ‘O’, the maduro incarnation boasts a dark USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The natural sweetness found in Connecticut Broadleaf make this blend full-bodied yet smooth. Inside, you'll find 100% Nicaraguan Habano tobacco only, delivering a full-bodied blend with a smooth, subtle finish. Notes of espresso, leather, earth and a slight spice come through in a unique balance. Oliva Serie O Maduro is a great cigar for any fan of full-bodied experiences.

Good news, Oliva Series O Maduro has received a 90-point rating, noting: "A dark robusto with a heavily veined wrapper, but a tasty balance of cinnamon, sweet spices and cedar."

Great taste, even burn
These cigars taste great down to the nub. They draw well and have an even burn. They are consistent. They all seem to be firmly packed and leave a consistent white ash. One of my favorites.

Very good strong smoke. Starts harsh, smoothes out in a couple minutes to a very good relaxing smoke. I would recommend it to people who enjoy a heady tasty cigar.

O so good
The Oliva in the O Maduro series I sent smoke signals was a cigar I purchased in Puerto Vallarta last summer 2017. I’ve been hooked ever since. Great smoke. This is a Mans Cigar.

My new favorite!
Surprisingly smooth and easy for what is rated as a full body smoke. The churchill made for a very enjoyable, long, 1 1/2 hour smoke.

Best of the Full, Medium and Mild Categories.
This is by far the best cigar I have ever smoked in the Full category. I also like Arturo Fuente Signature Classic in the Medium Category, And Cuesta Rey 1884 maduro and Don Diego Privada #1 maduro in the Mild category.

Top 10
I rate the "O" at the top of my chart, which is why it was chosen to be the cigar for my recent wedding. The guests are now new "O" enthusiasts.

Fantastic smoke with a full body and unexpected developments along the length.
After going through box of 20 robusto sized Oliva Serie O Maduros, I must say that these are amazing. It's a little light on the maduro quality I am sometimes after, and a little spicy at the beginning, but the wood, leather, and chocolate in the last third always impresses me. I'll always keep these in stock.

OH No ....disappointed
oliva serie O......oh no what a disappointment....big fan of the V and G but this one just didnt do it for me. its not a complete dog rocket but i just didnt get much flavor out of this one....a hint of toast and that was about it. The cigar is very well constructed and looked great very minimal veins and a nice even dark color with no visible flaws. The draw was perfect on this one all in all this was a so so smoke for me

Good stick
As a novice smoker I don't know a lot about the flavors and such. This cigar however delivers a smooth draw and even burn which is all I can say about it.

Not impressed
I personally didn't care for these cigars. Looked at the ratings and felt mislead. Hard to keep lit and no particular flavor that stood out. I much prefer H Uppman and Flor de las Antillas cigars in this price range.

Very good maduro! I will be stocking more of these in my humidor very soon!

Awesome! 2/22/11 This cigar is complex, french inhale every once in a while to get that cocoa flavor that I love so much in a good cigar and it will be there. Not too strong but definatly not weak by any means. A bit spicy which is good. Pre light aroma-excellent. If I smell a cigar like this one before I light it up and it makes me feel like I'm going to sneeze...I know its gonna be good. Excellent ash along with consistent burn. Don't ever recall it getting hot either. If these were cheaper I would smoke 2 a day at least. Try em out boys'

This is just one of those outstanding cigars that stands at the very top. Wonderful, near full taste with perfect burn and aroma. I would rate this a solid 92.

Outstanding cigar!Received one in a sampler pack and must get more.(Oliva O Maduro). The aroma and taste are extremely similar to CAO VR(another favorite),especially the heavy leather and spice influence. This slow-burning robusto took me an hour and a half and held a very strong ash that had to be forced off, very complex as well this cigar constantly grabs your attention and has a good surprise for you at every turn.I'm no expert on ratings but to me personally it's a solid 95.Thanks C.I. and Oliva!

Oliva O Maduro is on par with Padron as one of the best maduros out there. Coffee, wood, spice, cocoa and rich earthy notes.

Prelight aroma is excellent, coffee and leathery. 1/3 - Chocolate & Leathery 2/3 - Coffee Espresso 3/3 - Spicy and smokey Great Smoke

i love full body blends like this, all the best ones like edge maduro, 601 green oscuro and man o war ruination, all have this earthy charcoal core to them, man i love that punch to the gut. yet they usually smooth out to an eventful choco coffee and sometimes annise complexity, the series o maduro is no exception, same kick in the butt, and loads of chocolate. though this one mellows a little more offering a milk chocolate and ripe fruit note now and then. but kicks back to black pepper and charcoal for the long finish. magnificent.a 93 rating from me.

This smoke is a powerhouse with a capital P. While it may not be one of my favorite maduros of all time, it certainly is well made, classy to look at and it does produce thick white clouds of nice smelling smoke. It's definitely worth a try.

Good looking, well made, excellent draw, firmish, non-flaking ash, quite an even burn....but just a wee bit too spicy for my taste.
MC of MLeesburg, VA
The (Oliva O Maduro) is flavorful - a spicy maduro, but not overly so. There is a smoothness and some hints of black coffee with a very slight sweet tone. Definitely worth a try if you like maduros.
VS of ithaca, NY
the (Oliva) o series is one the bgest cigs i've smoked period.second only to the v.
GS of victorville, CA
This is the best full flavor cigar I have ever had (Oliva Serie 'O' Maduro). If you like full flavor you must try this smoke.
KH of Huber Heights, OH
The Maduro (Oliva 'O' Maduro) and the Classics are the most smoothest cigars I have found so far. You ought to try it out !!!
MG of Fresno, CA
They do not come any better than this (Oliva "O" Maduro). Period.
JM of Lake Wales, FL
Absolutely my favorite maduro (Oliva ''O'' Maduro), smooth and full of flavor, excellent construction and appearance!
TB of Wilkesboro, NC
This cigar(Oliva ''O'' Maduro) explodes in flavour and smoothness from the beginning to the satisfying end. One can taste the entire essence and culture of the Nicaraquan nation - its food, climate, art, music, people, even its soil - in one of these cigars. Not many blends can do that. If you want the ultimate in a full-bodied cigar with incredible depth of character and smoothness, this is it.

Oliva ’O’ Maduro

‘O’ Maduro….Oh wow, where do I begin...

Like a monkey attracted to a shiny object, I first picked one of these up when the fabric band adorned with gold sparkly stuff caught my eye some years back. I love Maduro cigars and I also love full-bodied cigars and when I first laid my eyes on this beauty it was love at first sight! Oily, dark and superbly constructed, the ‘O’ Maduro is truly in a class by itself. A Nicaraguan puro, the ‘O’ derives much of its unique flavor and subtle strength from the five-year old Nicaraguan Habano wrappers that are often in short supply. I’ve been enjoying these for a few years now and most often will reach for one after a nice dinner when in the company of friends. In fact, I have a little story for you that has made me and my ‘O’ Maduros famous. Well, maybe notorious is a little more accurate...

I remember it vividly as we had just finished dinner at a local cigar bar famous for their filet mignon. Now, by “we” I mean 6 of my co-workers and their significant others for a healthy and rambunctious crowd of about 14 people. I had enjoyed a few cocktails over the course of the evening and had just pulled out an ‘O’ Maduro Ovation, clipped the top and begun to toast the foot. I should mention that I had just popped “the question” less than a month earlier and as luck would have it she actually said yes. Thoughtfully (or in retrospect, thoughtlessly) I gazed at my smoldering cigar and said to my fiancé, “do you see this band?” as I am pointing to the band on my cigar... “this band means as much to me as the one on your finger means to you” As I slowly realized what I had said, I looked up from my cigar to see every person sitting at the table with their mouths agape. I stuttered and reeled as I struggled to find the words that might help exonerate me from the world of trouble I now found myself in but the only thing I managed to stammer was “I...uhh...should go to’s room now...” and off I went. Fortunately for me my fiancé is very understanding and has grown accustomed my moments where my mouth is fully engaged while my brain is stuck in stupid.

So that’s my little story about my favorite Maduro that nearly ended my marriage before it ever began. But, the real point here is that this is a magnificent cigar and one that you really must try. Recently the bands have been changed from the beautiful blue fabric accented with gold to a less expensive paper version but no matter because what makes this cigar special is the blend of tobacco.

The Bottom Line: Rich in flavor, full in body and with just enough complexity to keep you guessing as to what comes next, the ‘O’ Maduro is as much a standout from the crowd as an elephant in a barnyard full of chickens.
