Good, flavorful smoke of medium body. Good construction of good duration. The box was a bit ornate and in my opinion not that advantageous as a selling point. I do prefer boxes to bundles but the shape was over the top.

First cigar out of the box was a battle to keep lit. Also, I noticed that it cut differently on my V cutter. The cut came out very smooth, and the part removed stayed together even when handling it. I figured both issues were the result of very high humidity in the box. Threw a couple of packets of Boveda into the box and waited a few days. Second cigar still cut the same but it stayed lit and was a pleasure to smoke. This is a great every day smoke for sitting by my fish pond, feeding the fish, sipping a drink, and relaxing.

Was trying to find cigar in that more mellow flavor and this hit the spot. Nova Libre makes good sticks but this one is a level up from the rest of their lineup. Definitely worth buying if you’re trying to get a box for under 100. Also great looking box.

After reading a ton of glowing reviews about it, I wish I liked this more... huge flavors of black and white pepper, almost to the point of feeling mentholated. However their construction is excellent with a consistently even burn. Maybe another year or two in the humidor to see how it mellows out? Time will tell.
