This blend showcases an aged combination of Nicaraguan long-fillers secured within a Habano binder, inside dark and oily, positively resplendent San Andres maduro wrapper. A classic maduro experience: rich, hearty, and silky smooth. Deep notes of coffee and earth smack the palate in balanced fashion, leaving behind a bold, somewhat peppery aftertaste that lingers long on the palate. These are my "go to" smoke when I want a nice maduro, but not over the top. They are well made and and have a nice even smoke. My uncle says the aroma of the smoke reminded him of the cigars (long black) that my great grandfather smoked. I consider this to be a compliment and that I am following a long family tradition.

If you have a friend that complains about the smell of cigar smoke, get new friends. Or try this stick. It is a very smooth smoke, with a very pleasing aroma, similar to that of a Cavendish pipe tobacco.

These are remarkable for the price. Are they as good as a Padron Anniversary 1964 or better. No. That's a five star cigar in my book. But, are they 80% as good. Maybe. I've had both the maduro and natural wrappers. They're both excellent. Highly recommended as a Padron alternative or just a great low-priced cigar. Medium-bodied, even burn, smoke great to the end.

Perfect daily "second cigar" after a morning Padron that doesn't disappoint. Good smoke plume, burns consistently even, more pepper flavor than Padron but not offensive. Coronas provide the right amount of time to enjoy. This cigar doesn't disappoint.
