New World Puro Especial is the newest addition to the popular New World line by AJ Fernandez. The blend was developed by AJ Fernandez and and his father, Ismael, over the course of several years using tobaccos exclusively from Fernandez-owned farms in Nicaragua, all of which have been aged three to five years. The wrapper, binder, and filler all come from different farms in order to provide different aspects to the cigar in terms or flavor, aroma and mineral qualities.

While AJ is typically known for his fuller-bodied offerings, New World Puro Especial weighs in at more of a medium body. And it's a real winner of a blend. In fact, this cigar saw limited release before but AJ liked the blend so much he decided to go national with it. This cigar is a clean, rich smoke. It lasted the first couple of rounds at the bar, and had notes of spice and hints of earthiness. Would definitely recommend.

Never had a bad AJ cigar. Great construction, draw and burn. I’m not good a flowery taste descriptions. I agree with the other posts. A great value stick. Get a magnifying glass and look at that label art ! A class cigar all around.

You simply can’t get a better cigar for the price! I am always impressed by Aj Fernandez. He is a master. This stick is amazing in every way. Love the feel of the toothy oily wrapper. Nice nutty and chocolate finish. Highly recommended this stock!

Very easy smoke with good flavor. For me anything that has AJ Fernandez on it that is not in a Connecticut wrapper is awesome. I got this with DIas de gloria and enclave. at the same time. They are all very similar each is worth getting
