Oh Em Gee! These cigars are fuego! The smell alone smells so intoxicating even before I opened the wrapper. One puff and I was hooked. It tastes like I am smoking an old fashioned cherry Jolly Rancher candy. My tongue tastes like cherry and the cherry smoke permeates the room which is not offensive or overpowerful at all. I highly recommend. As a woman and a cigar enthusiast, I think this is one good flavorful cigar. Now----if I can just pair it with a strong drink, I'm good!

I DO enjoy these! Super mellow flavor, can smoke them down to a tiny butt and they're good to the very last draw. I think, if I couldn't get these, I'd stop smoking cigars altogether. My favorites are the rum flavor (currently "Caribbean") and the "natural" (original?). I've tried a couple of the other flavors and wasn't impressed.... your tastes may differ. ;)

They smell so sweet, just opening the box makes you think you're going to get diabetes. However, I couldn't taste any sweetness, nor smell any in the smoke. They're not bad, just not sweet. In this case, I got what I paid for. The Brighton's best cherry is a good taste and smoke, but costs a lot more.

I have purchased a dozen or so boxes of the Corona, which is a smaller version of this cigar. The Corona is consistent with flavor and packing of the filler. I have purchased 4 boxes of the Palma and they are very inconsistent with both flavor and packing. Some cigars are packed super tight and difficult to draw, others are packed loosely and burn very quickly. For a consistent flavor and draw I would recommend the Corona size of this product instead of the Palma.

Good tasting filler, sometimes a hint of brown paper from the binder? Too loose, some will burn almost a half hour most barely 15 minutes. I drive 11 miles home from work, 55mph speed limit, 2 stop signs and generally cigar almost done for by the time i pull into drive. Good for the price but not a great bargain. I will probably buy some more when the box is gone. Just have to remember to grab a handful instead of a couple of churchills.

Price was right, BUT disappointed! The wrapper is thin and the fill is chopped up. I ordered this because of the back order for Punch London Club maduro. And there is no comparison. After a few minutes, this Palma falls apart in your mouth. Reminds me of some American made cigars of the past. Guess I better stay with the 'name' brands.

A good daily smoke, but not much flavor. They have a pre-cut medium to excessively light draw. Seems like they have more dust than leaf scrap in the filler. What I would expect for 60 cents. I wish they had invested in better filler instead of an elaborate zip-off foil cover on each stick.

Principes Palma - Ok cigar for the price, but inconsistent draw

This is the 2nd box (55 in box) of Principes Palma's (Third box of Principes in general) that I had in the past few months. This last box from CI so far seems to be better than the first one that I ordered from another popular company.
But they still are inconsistent on the draw. In this box, about half draw just fine all the way through, while the other half seem to draw ok at start, but about half way through they start clogging up, and flavor gets a bite to it toward the end.
But that is better than the first box I had from the other company, as 90% had the draw issue. Plus about half way through, most of them gained a very bad flavor to the point I often would toss it. Don't know if this just has to do with a bad run of tobacco, or if they sat on the shelf to long... or...??
Don't know why they label these as "Vanilla" though, as they have Absolutely No Vanilla flavor at all, which was also disappointed as I have been searching for a cigar with a good vanilla smoke.
In any case, over all are they a decent cigar for the price? Sure, at least I can smoke them everyday. If the price was any higher though, I'd probably find something else.

Best value on a cigar worth smoking there is. It burns straight every time and provides plenty of smoke; comparable in quality to cigars costing much more.
I keep some in the trunk of the HD to pass out to those around admiring the aroma of my cigar while out and about.
The only Minor thing are small flecks of tobacco on the tongue; I tamp mine and it pretty well takes care of that.

"These sticks are the best for the money." That is the first thing that came to mind when I smoked my first one. After several sticks, almost through with my first box of 55, and having ordered another box already, I have to say they far surpass the "for the money" descriptor. It is perfect with a cup of coffee in the morning, as a mid-day stick-snack after lunch, and as an excellent aid in calming down after a full day at work (I am an ER nurse).
It is not what one would call a full-bodied smoke. It does not bite back, its odor is not offensive to people who do not like cigar smoke, and there is nothing overwhelming about it. It is a gentle, perfectly rolled friend who tries to make itself a part of what is going on at the time in a helpful way, not make everything about itself.
If you want a strong, full-bodied, loud stick, the La Aurora Principes is not for you. If you want a smooth, consistent, more gentle and friendly smoke, this is the one.

Getting tired of high priced cigars that are too tightly wrapped ??tastes totally different when lit vs later on?. If you don't need labels and 90+ ratings from cigar snobs and are willing to pocket a few bucks in the process then these are for you. I'm on my second box and about to order my third. I chose the Palma Rum and are not disappointed at all. Are they perfect?... na but I like em ... oh by the way its coconut rum not your Capt kind but I don't care. try a box give em a chance and you'll be happy with the credit card statement.

Great flavor, great aroma, easy draw, for the price , a nice cigar. You will get tobacco bits in your mouth, but that is offset by the nice aroma and flavor.

I actually bought these so the women in my life wouldn't complain ALL the time about the aroma of my cigars. However, to my delight I found myself really enjoying them! The chocolate was more an aftertaste than anything else. They go well with sweetened coffee. The construction was pretty fair with few problems. There was a few problems with relighting towards the end of some, but all in all if you like a flavored small cigar,give this one a try. Also, once again, the shipping was spot on.

So far I've tried the straight, rum, chocolate, vanilla & cherry. I think that's all of them. My favorite in order, rum, straight, cherry, vanilla & chocolate. The cherry smell is like taking a big whiff of cherry coolade powder. They have a strong cherry flavor also, which I like. Like a cherry Jolly Rancher. All get a bit harsh towards the end but still a good, convient means to got your quick cigar fix. The foil wrapping keeps them fresh & tasty. I keep a handfull on my boat and in my golf cart

Now exactly what I was hoping for. Weird aroma when they burn. Taste was ok. Had some better Rum flavored cigars in Florida while on vacation this year. Handed these out to some friends and they seem to like them, but they don't smoke a lot of cigars or they were just being nice to me :)

I ordered vanilla Palma only because they were out of rum Ron. I definitely prefer the rum flavor and Ron size, especially when paired with my favorite rum or whiskey. The vanilla flavor is very slight.

I really like the Vainilla Prinicpes, but not so much the chocolate flavored ones. These have the same smooth smoke as the Vainilla, but the flavor profile is definitely not my favorite. I ordered these because they were out of the Vainilla ones, so I took a chance. I will smoke them, but they are not my favorite of the Principes line of cigars.

These La Auroras' are a little light for my taste. Advertised as a Medium Bodied smoke I'd characterize them as Light to Medium. A little more umff and these would be the perfect cigar for my daily travels (I'm in my car a lot for my business). BUT, if that's what you like I don't think you'll find a better cigar for less than a buck! They draw well, burn evenly and don't have that manufactured taste I find a lot with most cigars in this price range, at least I don't think so. I really haven't had a bad one yet! I don't smoke flavored cigars so I can't speak to any of those.

Nice everyday cigar. Not quite as good as the little 5x38 corona, which I have smoked for 15 years, but a nice cigar. No particular flavors, just a good tobacco flavor. I have tried the chocolate Palmas and I didn't care for them. The naturals are better.
