Maduro is my smile of choice. This Kristoff was recommended by my smoke shop. I normally rate my experience with a new smoke on a 1-10 scale. This is a solid 9 to 9.5. Slight dry mouth on the finish but the flavor, construction, draw...WOW!!
I really can't add much more than Excellent. The guys above nailed it right down to smoking the nub. I loved it! Now I don't want them to stop making them.
Very, Very Nice! As soon as I saw this Kristoff line of cigars, I just had to have some. I got a five pack of the Matador, and when they arrived, they looked beautiful. The construction was superb. The wrapper was oily, dark and smooth. The pig tail was the frosting on the cake. I gave one to my son, and put the other four in the humi until I couldn't wait any longer to smoke one. I broke down Christmas eve, Just had to have one. This incredible stick looked even more amazing once I removed the plastic sleeve. Felt wonderful to hold. The pre-light aroma was sweet. I won't go on about the different flavors I experience through out the smoke. I'll let you decide for yourself what this beauty has in store for your taste buds. You can expect a nice even, slow, cool burn right down to the nub. Don't bother trying to find something wrong with this fabulous cigar. It's perfect! Can't wait to order some of the others in this Kristoff line.
Got one of these in a sampler from my local shop, and WOW! Flavors just as described, but I'm even more impressed with how cool it burned, even all the way down to the nub! This is what premium cigar smoking should be. Glad they're in CI's inventory at a lower price per stick, I will buy this again.
I'm excited to see that CI is carrying that bad boy! The one and only time had me begging for more...the first time I ever wanted to "chain smoke" cigars. Truly exceptional cigar, well balanced and tasty as all get up.
I've been smoking this cigar for a couple of years (my wife actually picked it out while we were traveling in California). It's a great cigar, medium to full bodied, with excellent construction and a rich, warm flavor. It's been hard to get-- I'm glad CI will carry it now.
