Java update available. Click to install. Some say this cigar tastes like a Peppermint Pattie. Others say it reminds them of Creme de Menthe. Whatever the case may be, we say it's pretty damn tasty. If you tried and enjoy Java, consider this your next guilty pleasure. A zero-calorie, carb-free dessert to savor after a thick 'n juicy steak dinner....or that cold leftover pizza from last night. Java Mint is an exceedingly flavorful handmade built with a rich blend of aged Nicaraguan long-fillers inside a thick and oily, 3-year aged Brazilian Mata Fina maduro wrapper. During the aging process, these cigars have been slowly infused with the delicious subtleties of gourmet mocha with select mints to develop a unique handmade with no comparison. A rich, traditional, medium-bodied handmade filled with hints of mocha, coffee, vanilla, and mint that burns silky-smooth and creamy down to the nub, leaving behind a lovely sweetness after each puff along the way. If you're looking for a sweet cigar to mix things up, Java Mint is a top-notch choice.
One of my all time favorite cigars! Has a good mix of a few different aromas and tastes all wrapped into one!
Great cigar with a nice, enjoyable flavor.
Perfectly delightful if you're a fan of mint chocolate. I enjoyed one from a sampler and ordered a 5 pk. for my son. I was sinfully tempted to send him something less... Worth the money!
One of the best cigars I have ever had...won't go back to another.
Pretty new to the cigar world. I have found that I am more of a mild type smoker, these were a very good smoke, enjoyed the taste and how well it smoked.
WOW! normally not a flavored cigar guy but loved these from the minute I opened the package and smelled them. They have a very even burn with a great draw. In my opinion you can't go wrong! One of my new favorites!!!
This is a fantastic stick. A typical Drew Estate: even burn, nice white billow of smoke and consistent flavor from beginning to end. However...NOT a cheap date. Hence, I smoke it until my fingers are in danger of minor burns.
A decent cigar, I've smoked about ten of them, flavor is a little inconsistent, sometimes you taste the mint other times you don't. If your looking for a mocha flavored cigar, the Tabak Especial offers more flavor than the Java or Java Mint and is less expensive. It's a pricey cigar that CI doesn't seem to discount like the other brands....
Was very unsure about a java mint cigar. Let me tell you, one of the best cigars I have ever had, burns perfect, easy draw and the taste is unreal. If you were hesitant like I was about trying this cigar do not be, order this cigar you will not regret it
Alright, well I had one of these and I wasn't crazy about it, but then I just had another and holy crap! These are awesome! For someone who has a taste for mild cigars, these were still perfect! Lots of smoke, and subtle hints of mint. Didn't get much "Java" but still, these are worth a try!
I absolutely love this cigar. Fantastic taste and the smell is one of a kind. A+ in my book!
These are my top choice. They are a great smoke. I always recommend these to all my friends and family. Even when out I get compliments from others around about how great they smell.
It's usually pretty tough to catch me smoking flavored smokes...I generally prefer naturally-produced cigar (the T52 is one of my personal Top Ten favs ever)....Gave one of these a try, expecting an over-the-top sweet dessert in a cigar. Surprisingly, the flavoring isn't overwhelming. In fact, I wished it had just a little more. Despite being a box-pressed cigar, I was also surprised that the cigar seems a bit under-filled. Having smoked DE smokes all the way back since the Sportsman's Reserve, LVH, LVHEY, and another I cannot fully recall (The Brick Maduro?), I can't ever recall smoking a DE cigar that was under-filled. Frankly, I think if the Java Mint cigars were tightened up a bit in the roll and press, they'd go from being a lightweight but pleasant cigar to being a full-out dessert replacement...and a good one at that.... Java Mint is good...with better construction, I think it could be better. Could be a nice alternative to mint Oreos, which I can't have now due to food allergies, so I will revisit these in a few months to reexamine how the build on the JM is.
Wonderfully smooth the mint taste is just right smokable any time of day has a excellent even burn will buy again I recommend anyone who hasn't had it to go and try it out a+ quality again from Drew estate.
Very good cigar love every one of them
My new favorite cigars, absolutely delicious and smell amazing, even people who don't smoke enjoy the smell. I will be buying many more boxes!
The cap has a very nice, mint chocolate flavor. Once I started smoking it though, it just tasted like a cigarette throughout....
I love these Java's, they're all that.
I've been smoking these for a little while now, and they never fail to impress. The wrapper smells heavenly, and the flavor is out of this world. I've never had problems with the draw, unlike a couple of other reviewers. My only complaint (if you could call it that) is that to me it doesn't smell or taste like mint. Rather, I get a scent with a hint of vanilla. Either way, still delicious.
AWSOME cigar didn't even want to light it just wanted to keep chewing on the tasty wrapper.
I ordered my 5 pack of Java Mint toros on a Sunday and surprised how quick the order came the following Wednesday. Unfortunately I was traveling for business and had to wait until Friday to try one. When I made it home and was working from my home office, the temptation was too great and I opened one to taste it. Wow, the flavor was so good I kept it in my mouth during conference calls, waiting for the time I could light it up. My wife had other plans for us and had to wait longer....Once I lit it up, the aroma and taste was fantastic. People kept coming up to me asking what I was smoking. The price of the cigar is worth it, but like a great meal, I cant afford to have it every time. It will be on my treat list though.
Java Mint by Drew Estate Robusto: Overall, I really like this cigar. Cons: Very square shape, Not the best draw. Pro: One of the very best tasting cigars I've ever had. I will certainly buy them again. I just wish it were easier to smoke.
Great odor, lots of smoke, no after taste, and hands are clean afterwords! And they taste great!
I have been a long-time fan of the Latte and Maduro, however I found the Mint to be even more satisfying. The mint-flavoring is not too overpowering and it finishes much better than the other two. It retains its flavor (in my opinion) to the last 1/4 of the cigar before it intensifies. The aroma has been a crowd pleaser in non-traditional smoke environments.
Tastes just like you are smoking a peppermint patty. If you like that get some of these.
I smoked a couple of the robusto's, and these are good cigars. Not for everyone, however... They are crowd pleasers, smell amazing. They are well constructed with a smooth draw and I have had no trouble with an even burn. The taste is also very consistent until the last 1/3, where the flavoring goes away and it definitly gets much more intense. Overall, a good smoke, if you're into the flavored thing.
To say this is a bad cigar would be very wrong, due to the construction quality and billows of smoke. However, after purchasing a 5 pack just to satisfy my curiosity. This is not a cigar that I would pay the high dollar amount to secure a box. For me, money spent for a box of AVO's, Camacho, Corazone, and a few others, is a far better investment than the Java. Then again, I'm probably in the minority when it comes to my review...
I ordered a 5 pack of the Petite Corona's. I thought they were pretty good. The ones I got weren't too heavy on the Mint flavor. They smoked very nicely. This went well with a cup of van Houtt white chocolate mint Coffee. I ended up buying a whole box of the petite corona's which was a bit pricey compared to the other options. If you wanna try these I would suggest trying the Petite corona first!
These are by far my favorite flavored cigar! Drew Estate always makes a quality product, and this is no different. The balance of flavor was perfect, sweet and strong to start, then mellow with rich tobacco flavor by the end - not like most other flavored cigars where all you taste is the sweetness. The other reviews were not as favorable, but I stand my ground on these. If you want a flavored cigar and you like creamy minty-ness, then these are great. Pricier than other flavored cigars, but a very well put-together one!
Hey, normally I'm a huge fan of anything that comes from Drew Estate, but "Java Mint" was a disapointment. Bottom line: the smoke was okay, it smelled nice, but when I finished it tasted like I'd smoked an entire pack of Newport cigarettes.
Java mint.... I do not like flavored cigars but had to try them. The mint taste finally left my mouth after 15-20 minutes and then it was more enjoyable. The smoke taste was very similar to pipe tobacco smoke. They were not wrapped too tight and ended up fairly mushy. Smoke was very heavy, ash was nice salt and pepper and hung on good. Lasted about 1 1/2 hours. Overall, OK but I will probably not order any more, glad they were sold in 5 packs. T.S. Pennsylvania
