Island Jim by Oscar #2

Oscar has some great smokes including Leaf but this Island Jim will be my new “go to” cigar when I want to treat myself!

Wow, I have looking for more reasonably priced cigars as every time I light up a Cuban, I feel I am burning case. So I tried several new sticks and goofiness aside, or funkiness, these are fabulous. I had my first Maduro and was surprised by the stick itself. The foot is open filler and the cap is the binder leaf (the wrapper is the dark part on the photo). I thought it was two different wrappers. So cool. and unusual So lighting up, at first I did not cut the cap. Burn was very even, but had to cut the cap after a few minutes to get more smoke. After that it smoked really well. The ash was like rows of dimes and I ashed it, but I have the feeling the ash would have stayed on for days. The flavors are very Maduro, honey, chocolate, macadamia nut through the almost 2/3rds mark. Then it became increasing more peppery. I wanted to smoke this cigar quickly for some reason, and had to slow myself down. Then the pepper became less intense. Overall, I really enjoyed this hour plus cigar. I will by a box.

Wow - - are these tasty!! First time ever trying one and everything about it was awesome......easy burn, nice draw and awesome flavor!

These are one of my favorite cigars to smoke. Great mix of tastes . Highly recommend for everyone
