HERF Cool-a-Dor

These work well. Not insulated, so they fluctuate with the room temperature like any other humidor. They trays are very well built. It holds a lot of cigars! If your collection is growing this is a great way to keep your cigars and on a $ per cigar it's also a very good value. I did wash mine and let it dry before seasoning it. I also had to season mine to get good humidity control. But I just used the Bovida 85% packs. The hardest part was waiting for two weeks to fill this gem.

Ok so I have had this baby for a few months now and I love it. I have Boveda 69's in it and it holds the humidity perfectly. It also keeps the temps stable. It is sturdy and well made. The trays have multiple grooves for the dividers and each tray has a box that fits the large Boveda perfectly. I highly recommend this humidor to anyone looking for a bigger humidor.

I like a good cigar. I also like a number of the cigar deals that CI has. Thus, I just ordered my 2nd Cool-a-Dor. It's large enough to store a whole bunch of cigars and keep them properly stored. If you are like me and feed up with using a number of smaller humidors, this is the solution for you. It was for me.

Great product. Holds humidity perfectly. I use 2, 65%, 320g boveda packs and I has not budged from 68% since I got it. (Months). Shelves are amazing, but the separating pieces are a little short and don’t lock, that actually move a bit. It took about a week to season.

Best humidor I own! I can go well over a month or more without worrying about the humidity level since it seals so well!!

Great I can stock pile

Without a doubt, this humidor exceeded my expectations. Once you season the cedar, for it's price, there's nothing like it. Plenty of storage space, dividers, and it manages well with the Boveda packs we get with every order. Also, the surface is great for slapping stickers on it & keeping it clean.

A perfect humidor for the long-term storage of many of my cigars. Very impressed at how well it is sealed and how it keeps the humidity level up without constantly needing to add any liquid!!!! Very high quality and lots of flexibility with the 3 massive shelfs!!! If I had a "do over" I would have definitely bought this first!!!

It’s huge!!! I finally have room to store my stogies. It’s holding humidity after seasoning the trays. The trays are great and can hold any size of cigar. I have some bovida packs and two gel jars. I have digital hygrometers in each tray to keep a close eye. You need to alternate the tray setup to make sure the bottom isn’t getting too much humidity. The only gripe I have is that the zip ties that were used to hold the small trays to the large trays cracked a couple of the slats. I’m not sending it back. It’s too cool to. Very happy with it and I would recommend it to anyone. Especially if you are looking for space for a decent amount of cigars.

This is an initial review but from what I have seen so far this is one hell of a deal. This thing is huge and the included trays are well made with two movable dividers and a humidifier holder for each of the three trays. I have wiped down the trays with cigar solution and have placed boveda 84rh seasoning packs in each tray. I will update on how well it holds humidity at a later date.

Well, it’s not very much to say that is the best cost-effective humidor on the market you can’t beat it Big Herf 450.

Great humidor one humidor holds all my cigars.

Great to have all my cigars in one humidor. My only concern so far are the latches that keep it sealed, plastic so I don’t know how well they’ll hold up.

I prefer these types of humidors. I already have several of the Xikar branded air tight travel humidors. I prefer these over wooden humidors because they require almost no maintenance and Boveda 320 gram packs last for years. I will be able to transfer all my cigars to this giant box. The only two gripes I have with this box is: 1. No rubber gasket to ensure an airtight seal. Not sure why that is not part of the design. I’m gonna have to come back and revise my review if I have trouble keeping the humidity right. 2. Why are the wooden trays made of MAHOGANY? I thought Spanish Cedar was the wood of choice when it comes to Humidors for cigars. This humidor is almost perfect and I like it.

this thing is massive. I store a number of my friends' collections on top of my own. both personal and for sharing. this humidor is way larger that I thought and more than double the size of anything in a comparable price range. good even compared to building out your own cool a dor.

A lot bigger than expected. Holds humidity perfectly. Good quality wood shelves. Seasoned them with distilled water for a few days and it was good to go. Which brings me to the negatives. No seasoning or care instructions provided. Just guesswork. And you will need to wash it as it has a very strong plastic smell on arriving.

Good tight cooler. Not cute but very functional. Quality of mahogany racks is decent but not as high as I expected. This item should come with locks but doesn't. The holes for the locks have a 90 degree turn in the plastic so a cable lock will be needed.

My God, it's huge! My son and I have bought 2 of them. Very sturdy and well built. It has more than enough room for 450 cigars plus all the accessories that I usually have. If you need more room and at an excellent price, I recommend it 100%. I call mine "the sarcophagus". CI, keep up the awesome job you're doing.

Another great product from Humi-care, the HERF Cool-a-Dor is a well built product with double wall construction. Very solid built mahogany shelfs with lots of adjustability for boxed or loose cigars. Upon opening did not have a plastic or acrylic smell, Just wiped down the entire inside down with a damp cloth with distilled water and then wiped it with a dry one for peace of mind. Next I wiped down all the shelves with Humi-care seasoning wipes. Added a 320 gram Boveda pack on each shelf, then closed it up and let it sit for 24 hrs., which brought my humidity to 68 with temperature of 67 in my garage. Just added 3 boxes and 230 loose cigars (most 60 gauge) with plenty of room left and everything looks great, will try to update in a month. Thanks to Cigar International for this great product at great introductory price.

Thing is •huge• ... possible that 450 might be an understatement. Simple, but very well designed & effective. Interior trays are well made with effective diving slats and fitted boxes for Boveda 320g packs
