Wood Tipped Jewels!

Hav-A-Tampa Jewels are incredible little wood tip cigars. They’ve been one of the best-selling machine made cigars in the world for a very long time. This American owned company first started their craft in Ybor City in Tampa, Florida way back in 1901. They were one of the first companies to use machines in the cigar making business. Today, they are no longer produced in the USA, but instead in Puerto Rico, but they remain the world’s best-selling wood-tipped cigars. 

Each cigar is capped with a Birchwood tip that provides a clean and smooth draw without fail. They are relaxed, flavorful, and always smooth. Each pack of 50 comes packaged as 10 boxes of 5 cigars, which makes it convenient to grab one and go. If you’ve been looking for a nice change of pace cigar at a good price, Hav-A-Tampa should be your first choice. Incredibly consistent and priced for everyday enjoyment.

When I want a quick smoke, I grab one of these 'jewels'. Benn smoking them since the late 1960s. They're not a premium cigar, but a very mild 'snack'.

The package came in good order, but the cigars it were not ready to smoke immediately. I would suggest if you order them to first place them in a humidor for a few weeks.

These are not fine cigars, but just a slight step away from a cigarette. Extremely mild with no appreciable taste of their own except the birchwood tip, which is pleasant. But these things are super cheap and satisfy the habit of smoking. My only quibble is the packaging, which is incredibly wasteful; box wrapped in cellophane, but, once inside, individual cardboard sleeves also wrapped in cellophane. All in all, these are just OK. Cheap and mile cigarillos.

You will need to keep a lighter handy to smoke these,they will go out. I find that with some of the these cigars I need to get my drill out and drill through the tip with a small drill bit so I can draw smoke? They are not as good as I remember from years ago.
