I'm not crazy about many of the Game sticks, but the "Red" isn't bad. Decent taste. Burns ok. I like em when I'm kicking around the yard. Give em' a try.
Bought a 4 pack of the Green Games. The aroma is pretty good, taste is herby which I like, after taste isn't the best. Either way, good cigar.
I got the vanilla Game cigars, and I'm very pleased with them. The flavor is good without being overpowering. They light and draw very well, and the construction is good. I'm about halfway through my first box of them, and I will definitely order them again.
All machine made cigars taste like crap to me. The only machine made cigars i have smoked within the last 6 months that are any good now are some I ordered from an old cigar company in Texas that are made with both a real cigar leaf wrapper and binder. Most big name national brand machine mades use an awful fake tobacco cherry or strawberry tasting binder that tastes similar to cough syrup and smells very unpleasant to me when burning. I NEVER smoke machine made cigars any longer, and why would I when CI sells a much better hand made cheaper than any machine made. CI also has the best customer service than any other cigar retailer in the world.
Just tried the Natural and the Vanilla. The taste on both is a mix between dish soap and potpurri. Obviously I did not like them ;) I think some people that are more accustomed to the flavored machine mades would like them though. Just not for me. For me, there are much better machine mades on this site that have that true tobacco taste.
I had the chance to sample the 'green' version of the Game cigar from Garcia Vega. In a quick summary, try it out. For a machine made this little guy aint bad. First let me give you the pros. CHEAP! Gives a white peppery start and burns into a very basic tobacco flavor. If I had to take a guess I would say Dominican fillers. The aroma is some sort of coffee, herbal smell. May not be for everyone. This smell is pungent and is big from start to finish. The cons are: The aroma stays with you well after you smoke the cigar. The aftertaste is bad, but not Parodi bad for those who know Parodi. The flavor is too basic and that coffee, herbal like infusion doesn't necessarily help. Uneven burn and veiny wrapper. * * * I'm not a machine made fan by any means, but curiosity got the best of me. My favorite cheap smoke this is not, if you want better tobacco flavor and cheap look toward the Banditos.
I just wanted to say every cigar smoker should try out Garcia Vega "Game" vanilla flavored cigar. It's good and smells great, so whoever hasn't tried at least one these babies, try one! I'll buy these from CI!
