You could fit a body in this thing, seriously…we tried. A picture barely does this behemoth justice, as this trunk can easily store 5,000+ cigars in ideal condition. There’s just one catch. In order to keep costs at the bare minimum, the unit ships flat and requires assembly. Don’t worry, our dim-witted intern did it in about 20 minutes. Crafted with kiln dried Spanish-cedar, the optimal material for storing cigars, along with a beautiful Mahogany finish, this piece will spice up any room you choose for it to call home. NOTE: Price below includes oversized shipping charges of $50.
I just put mine together, and it was really easy and the directions are very straight forward. I have 2 tips. 1 open the box outside. It's well packaged, with a lot if Styrofoam that easily breaks and you will have shavings all over the place. I have a leaf blower so clean up was a snap. 2 be very careful with the lid hinge. It helps to have an second person hold it. I managed it by myself by placing it on side so that the hinge/lid/box was vertical. Keeps great humidity, but I would highly recommend the Humidity 1000 to properly humdify. The 2 supplied humidifiers and hygrometer are not in MY opinion sufficient for a larger quantity. Box gets a 5 stars for the price and quality. The humidifiers and hygrometer can be repurposed for a smaller humidor.
This is a huge high-quality storage humidor for a serious cigar smoker. It took a little over an hour to assemble, but was easy. Add a large capacity humidifier such as the Humi-Care XG 1000 for convenience and savings. Distilled water at $1.49 a gallon is a big savings over cigar juice.
