El Gordo #59: 5 Vegas Gold + Herf-a-Dor

It's a nice travel humidor, holds 4 56 rings cigars just right. The lighter is very good, easy to refill and easy to operate. My only concern is that latches, they could be a lot sturdier.

Herd-a-dor works great. Used it for a week during a vacation. Lighter works better then the $12-18 lighters from Amazon. I’ll definitely be ordering more of the Vegas gold, great flavor. may even just buy this again.

Solid Travel Herfador. held the cigars just right for several days. The lighter was a nice topper. Even though it is designed for 5 smaller ring sticks, you can comfortably fit 4 larger of your favorites. Which is exactly what I did. Nice travel box, and the quality of the sticks and body of the box..... Awesome

Haven’t had a chance to smoke one of the 5 Vegas yet, but the packaging and value three items for less than $30 was a great value! I would definitely recommend picking up this kit whenever it’s on sale. Used the lighter a few times and the herf-a-dor kept my cigars safe while I traveled a bit.

The cigars are excellent and the box is very useful for taking cigars on a trip. The only issue is the lighter is less effective in lighting these great cigars.

My first experience with the 5 Vegas, first stick I smoked was mild on taste. Even burn on the ash. No major taste in the notes. Love the Herf a Dor. Looking at trying other 5 Vegas in the future.

I just started smoking cigars, and this was the perfect package to get me started, just needed to get a cutter and fuel for the torch. The cigars where nice and light, had a good smooth smoke. Plus now I have something to store my orders in.

This was a great deal and if you want smoke your cigars on the go, it's a must have. I purchased a different portable humidor off Amazon and this one is so much better. Holds plenty of cigars and keeps them at the right humidity, even in hot temps. The lighter that came with it is also good, they only thing it is missing is a punch so you don't have to carry something extra. And the 5 Vegas Golds are my favorite cigar so it's a huge plus to get some with it.

A good deal! The 5 Vegas Gold is a nice, medium bodied smoke! Lights well and tastes a little full at first. Then settles down and has a slight cedar smoothness that I like. It can burn uneven if not watched! The Herfador is great, along with a decent quad torch lighter! Would make a nice gift,but I kept it! Thanks CI!

Good mellow cigars!

The cigars and herfador were ok but the lighter was garbage. When ignited it puts out a flame that is literally a foot long and not able to be adjusted. I was kind of disappointed because my whole bundle wasn't at 100%. This is the second time that this has happened to me and it's a tremendous let down!

The Vegas 5 that comes with this Herf-a-Dor is a mild, creamy smoke. Not my favorite but I wanted to give it a try and these El Gordo deals are pretty hard to pass up. The lighter is knock off of a Vertigo 4 jet. It comes empty. I filled it and found that it doesn't burn evenly but it works and it was thrown in with the deal so I can't complain. I'll throw it in my pickup as a spare when I'm out and about. The Her-a-Dor is a handy little travel companion. It's not the "highest" quality either but if you take care of it, it should take care of your cigars.

Follow up to my previous review I got to try the 5 Vegas gold. Very mild cigar decent flavor nice smooth draw ideal for sitting on a quiet calm night looking at the moon through a nice cloud of white cigar smoke! Will definitely be ready for another one tomorrow night!

Good everyday smoke, but a couple of them had long hard pieces of stem inside them. Not what you want to have in a "premium" cigar. Great deal though with the lighter and Herf-A-Dor.

Got the herfador combo today, I ordered 3 days ago. It was the best deal of all the combos if you are good with 5 Vegas gold. Nice box, just as I thought it would be, now I can put my sticks in here in stead of my bugout bag! Looking forward to trying the 5 Vegas gold sticks! CI hits it out of the park again with this deal, I'm sure I'll be ordering more! On another note, I wish CI would offer their samplers in even number quantities, in example the 20 count sample packs would contain 4 of each kind and could be evenly shared with a friend ( hard to evenly devide 5 cigars😨😱!). It seemed ok but this is the first experience of noticing small green spots on wrapper about 1mm to 2mm diameter. I was a little leary of smoking it and maybe someone can tell me what they possibly are. Natural or otherwise....
