Drew Estate Factory Smokes Maduro

Upgrade your bundle!

If there’s one wrapper that Drew Estate undoubtedly knows how to work with, it’s Maduro. Featured on the original Undercrown, as well as their world-famous Liga Privada lines, these guys have been slinging full-bodied, Maduro wrapped blends for as long as I can remember… Today, a new contender for the DE throne enters the ring – Factory Smokes Maduro, a bundled product that delivers the excellent flavor you’d expect from a Jonathan Drew release at a most wallet-friendly price tag.

Offered up in four different sizes, Factory Smokes Maduro features a dark and oily wrapper overtop Indonesian binder. And let’s get one thing clear — these aren’t 2nds or Fumas. This is a blend specifically designed and crafted to innovate in the bundled space. The best cigar I’ve found par none for yard work or BBQ’ing, each Factory Smokes Maduro delivers a nice balance of espresso, dark chocolate, and slight black pepper at one helluva nice bargain.

Great smoke for the price
This is my daily smoke. they burn even and taste good enough for me while out in the field working or outside at home doing yard work. I have ordered about 4 packs of these and will be getting more soon. At this price it can't be beat and do recommend giving it a shot.

Wish I could work in the factory. Even burn, great taste, priced right.

Great price
Good cigar, well constructed, even burn, easy draw, medium bodied smoke. About what I would expect from Drew Estates higher end cigars. Only knock is last third of stick gets a bit harsh if smoked hard

good flavor, rough mouth feel
it's a good value - the smoke is flavorful and the burn is fairly consistent - i've been through 4 bundles i think, and all had a good draw. the wrapper is a bit rustic for my liking. not so nice in the mouth. they tend to get smushy and unravel in the last 3rd

Great cigar
Very nice stick. Smooth even burn, nice flavorful notes. Everything you expect from Drew Estate. Will definitely buy again.

Decent smoke
This is a good cigar for what you have to pay for it. It’s not a Nica Rustica or a RP 1990 but will worth the price. I’ll buy again. You have to be realistic about gett ing what you pay for.

Great Smoke for the Price
I was very pleased with this cigar. I typically smoke the Kentucky- Fired Muwat, but wanted a more affordable daily smoke. Very good smoke for the price.

Ok
These are tasty, but could be rolled a bit tighter. The head unravels on most of them too. Good yard work smoke

Good for the money
Nice everday smoke. Smooth draw, nice flavor. Good construction

Good, everyday cigar!
Clearly these aren't rolled with the same long pieces of tobacco, but the flavor and smoke is tasty and very similar to the long leaf maduro. These are great for an everyday smoke and much easier on the wallet.

Surprised!!
Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and construction! The flavor, draw and burn were very good , great value!

Very Smokable
This was quite a flavorful surprise for such a budget cigar. Great gar for hoofing it around the links. Be aware it is a short filler so there is the usual spitting with such fare. But a small price (no pun intended) to pay for a tasty number.

Drew Estate Factory Smokes (Gordo)
I like them! They burn a little fast and the wrapper can be a little loose, a good flavored cigar! Over all, a great buy! I will definitely buy again.

I purchased these gems because I was on a budget. I didn’t expect much but was looking for a bold smoke. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are! Nice even burn, bold yet not overpowering. I’ll be buying them again and again.

Factory Smokes Maduro
For the money this is a fantastic smoke. Great construction for a short filler cigar. I would compare this to the Nica Rustica or My Uzi Weighs a Ton. Hopefully they don't jack the price up on these.

A full draw of good tasting smoke, great while I’m working in the shop or yard.

A very good cigar
This cigar exceeded my expectations. I thought it would only be acceptable, but when I tried it, I realized that this cigar can not be considered just as from day to day, but that it exceeds that category because of the excellent construction, taste and price-quality.

Drew Estate Factory Smoke
Gentleman it is tie to fill the Humidor. You no longer have to fear having a get together with friends, passing out expensive smokes only to find them not even smoked halfway when you cleanup! You can pass these out and they are great and they wont brake your bank!

Nice
Lots of smoke but has nice flavor. Good every day smoke. Will buy more.

Nice Maduro for the price.
Was excited to try these, and was not disappointed. The robustos is a good size, the burn was actually very good and dumped smoke like a No.9. Flavor is that of an Undercrown Maduro and a little Nica Rustica with a nice medium body.

Budget smokes
Like the Maddie’s for the price. Don’t care for sungrown, they taste like a budget mixed filler stick..bland

A good, light smoke.
Picked up a couple of these at the store over the weekend. The wrapper is a beautifully colored dark chocolate, but has a rough appearence, andthe foot on both sticks I purchased has a definite outward bloom. I used a V groove cut, and the cap cut smoothly without flaking or cracking. The pre-light draw is smooth, if a bit loose, and has a pleasant flavor. The foot lit easily and had a consistent start. The first draw had a well-rounded but mild flavor (for a maduro, this stick is mild). The wrapper started to split in multiple places for about the first inch, after a few minute of smoking. Fortunately, this did not extend further than about a an inch and a half from the foot, and once the burn caught up, I had no further issues. In the last third of the stick, it became mushy to the touch, but maintained a good smoke and flavor. The stick lasted about 30 minutes.

Amazing addition to the DE line!
JD is an amazing individual, and he has created yet another incredible gem! As someone that can appreciate the top end hand crafted smokes, yet has a budget that doesn't allow indulging upon $10+ sticks with regularity, allow me to say that he has knocked this one out of the flipping park! The Kuba Kuba has always been a gem to me, but this new selection is going to appeal to so many cigar lovers. Beautiful hand rolled stick with a Maduro wrapper, a sweet tip, and nuances to entice even those that can afford the higher priced selections. Great ash. This is a beautiful stick. If you can relate to anything I've written, gift yourself and order some of these tonight!

Just like other factory second's, half are good and half are smoke able. Some tight some loose. Some your spitting leaves/stems, some your blowing rings. I will buy again.

Right off the truck, great cigar for the price. I am sure they will improve in the humidor. They are smooth with transitioning flavors.

No disappointment here...
I reckon this is Drew Estate's offering into the world of blue collar cigar lovers. Since that's the world I live in (Patron pallet and Swisher Sweet budget) I feel I'm qualified to chime in. First, the price point can't be beat. Second, construction is excellent for a blue collar offering. The stick offers a good volume smoke and an after taste that doesn't need to be gargled away with bourbon. Actually paired quite nicely with a taste of Evan Williams Black. Burn was even, right down to the nub. The ash doesn't hold very tightly, but doesn't flake off and drift around my head either. The opening burn is a bit harsh, but settles down into an increasingly intense and nice smoke. Been smoking the CI Freash Rolled as my daily, but if the remaining sticks stay consistent, Factory Smokes will be replacing them. Ordering up the Sungrown next. Was expecting something nice from Drew Estate with this cigar...and they didn't disappointment me.

HOW SWEET IT IS!
This is one of the greatest maduro cigars I have ever smoked! I do not usually buy sandwich cigars, but I had to try this one..And I am happy I did...It has a fantastic sweet taste that will please maduro cigar lovers.....And you can't beat the price....I hope Drew Estate keeps making this cigar and soon comes out with a long filler version so I won't have to keep spitting out the short filler bits in my mouth....
