With Don Tomas Clasico Maduro, the brand celebrates its Honduran origin, putting the tobaccos of the country on full spotlight beneath a seamless, oily Maduro wrapper leaf. The blend itself is no slouch, either - this cigar features the same blend as the original Don Tomas release, with just a few tweaks around the wrapper.

Wrapped in a bold Connecticut Broadleaf overtop Connecticut Maduro binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers, Don Tomas delivers tons of flavor without ever overwhelming. Toasting the foot, you'll find tons of charred wood, chocolate, black pepper, and a backing of natural tobacco sweetness - a combination that practically begs to be paired up with a few fingers of the good stuff. Definitely on the fuller side of medium. Somewhat harder draw so keep a probe handy as they want to go out. Only smoked one so a tiny sample. They will go into the humidor for a few months which should mellow them out.

Great smoking pleasure with this dark one. Nice volume of flavorful smoke while even-burning down the canon. The ash will fall if left unattended for too long, however, this is a minor flaw; because over-all this one is a truely great cigar.

These are well constructed, even burning, lots of smoke and lasts longer than most cigars the same size. A little stronger than I like which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Well worth a try.

I am just finishing my first ever Don Tomas. I was given this cigar as a gift, I blew it off and put it away and forgot about it. I stumbled upon it tonight: Good cigar, at any price, period. I prefer a robusto size over anything else, but this thing is amazing. It's no fuente, It's better than that, though slightly more mild, but not much. Medium-full flavor, solid construction and even burn. I'm almost to the band and haven't had any issues thus far. I'll be ordering a box or two of the robustos when they are back in stock. (Note: this cigar has been resting for 3 months in my humidor.)
