Don Tomas Clasico Maduro

Embrace the heritage!

Don Tomas has long been manufactured in Honduras, and today it is one of the standards of a well-made Honduran handmade. With Don Tomas Clasico Maduro, the brand celebrates its Honduran origin, putting the tobaccos of the country on full spotlight beneath a seamless, oily Maduro wrapper leaf. The blend itself is no slouch, either - this cigar features the same blend as the original Don Tomas release, with just a few tweaks around the wrapper.

Wrapped in a bold Connecticut Broadleaf overtop Connecticut Maduro binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers, Don Tomas delivers tons of flavor without ever overwhelming. Toasting the foot, you'll find tons of charred wood, chocolate, black pepper, and a backing of natural tobacco sweetness - a combination that practically begs to be paired up with a few fingers of the good stuff. Sure, there's other brands out there today that are flashier than Don Tomas, but if you just want a solid cigar at a nice price... look no further.

Great taste. Good draw. Stays
Great taste. Good draw. Stays lit with a long, white ash. Best value around.

Excellent smoke

Good smoke
Prefer the original over these... a bit more smooth of a smoke but at the close out price couldn't pass these up

I really enjoyed this smoke
The box has been consistent as to burn, draw, flavor and strength. I will buy again.

Don Tomas cigars
A very good cigar, I've had a couple that were hard to draw on but that's probably to be expected, all in all very nice, really smell good!

Nice smoke
These are well constructed, even burning, lots of smoke and lasts longer than most cigars the same size. A little stronger than I like which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Well worth a try.

Loved these before, but now? Not so much. They're not rolling them like they used to.
I've been a Don Tomas fan for several years ..... and have always enjoyed these smokes. This latest batch I received, however, is suffering terribly from construction issues, and the majority are coming unraveled, caps falling off, and falling apart, before I can smoke one. Over the years I've never had such problems with any Don Tomas cigar. Seems something has changed, though, and it certainly isn't for the better. I doubt I'll ever order any more of these cigars. Always hate to see something that has been a great product, take a nosedive and go downhill like these have.

Pleasant surprise!
I am just finishing my first ever Don Tomas. I was given this cigar as a gift, I blew it off and put it away and forgot about it. I stumbled upon it tonight: Good cigar, at any price, period. I prefer a robusto size over anything else, but this thing is amazing. It's no fuente, It's better than that, though slightly more mild, but not much. Medium-full flavor, solid construction and even burn. I'm almost to the band and haven't had any issues thus far. I'll be ordering a box or two of the robustos when they are back in stock. (Note: this cigar has been resting for 3 months in my humidor.)
