A very Sherry Diesel.

Rabbit Hole Bourbon & Diesel Cigars are a match made in heaven. The Diesel Whiskey Row was released in 2018 to a wave of excitement from cigar aficionados everywhere, owing to the fantastic blend and bold flavors from the binder aged in Rabbit Hole bourbon barrels. The follow-up to that fantastic success uses barrels that originally contained 30-year old Pedro Ximenez Sherry which were sent to Rabbit Hole to produce their PX Sherry Finish Bourbon, before finally landing at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua.

The blend consists of a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers, but the barrel-aged Brazilian Arapiraca binder is the star of the show. The flavors are wonderfully influenced by the sherry casks, without becoming infused or overly sweet. Instead, you’ll find notes of dark fruit, cedar, chocolate, and pepper, for a smooth medium-bodied experience that pairs great with any drinks with naturally sweet characteristics. Diesel crated something truly special & unique with this release, so you won’t want to hesitate to go down the Rabbit Hole.

I recently ordered a cask of 20 of these excellent cigars. They arrived in a beautiful wooden mini cask. Each cigar was individually wrapped, and the cask was shrink wrapped for the maximum of freshness. They light with ease and maintain their ash for about an inch. The smoke is robust and pleasant and lasts for about 3/4” left. I highly recommend this cigar.

Very earthy old barn hay like deep dark amazing flovor i was little sad i got no sherry cask flavor unlike the makers mark pnes had a hrapey bourbon finish these are def the best

A lot of my friends have talked up this brand this Sherry cask cigar, but I did not find it too unique. It didn't have any special aroma or taste that set it apart as I was led to believe it might. Good cigar, just not outstanding.

The Sherry cask Robusto from the whiskey row series made by diesel is a very nice cigar. It has a very pleasant smoke aroma, a nice easy draw, and a very enjoyable tobacco taste with just the right amount of Sherry in the background. These are very enjoyable and easy to smoke. Whether you’re a cigar novice or a seasoned cigar aficionado, you will enjoy these bad boys. I will definitely order these again. I highly recommend these to those that enjoy alcohol dipped or alcohol soaked cigars.

Yet another amazing gem from Fernandez. I have yet to smoke a bad Aj Fernandez stick. This one is simply excellent! Now your not gonna taste sherry, so get that right out if your head. But you will not be disappointed with the prominent earth and nutty finish on this puppy. Plus some spicy sweetness from the broadleaf wrapper. A must have in all humidors.

This is a great cigar that checks all the boxes. I usually smoke while I'm playing golf, so a cigar that burns well is important to me. They are a medium body smoke with slight hints of the sherry cask. I'll definitely buy more of these fantastic smokes.

Of all the Diesel cigars I have tried, I have found the Whiskey Row, and Sherry Cask cigars, to be my favorites. The draw is quit nice on both. From the two, I lean to the Sherry Cask just a tad bit. I really injoy the Maduro wrapper giving hints of coco and leather. However, the Whiskey Row has a hint of bread and carmel corn which I find to be very pleasant. I received a nice even burn from both cigars.

One of my favorite Diesel cigars. For a Diesel cigar it is a smooth smoke. That is, most Diesels are quite toothy but these maintain that Diesel full-bodiedness while being less toothy. The other Whiskey Row line is also worth picking up.
