Yamasay yamasa yamasuma!

Contrary to popular belief, the newest Davidoff did not get its name from the incoherent mumblings of the late, great Michael Jackson. Instead, the latest hit to come out of the Davdioff camp calls on select tobaccos grown in Yamasa, Dominican Republic – a region with a reputation for being difficult to grow in. Davidoff’s newest release, fittingly dubbed Yamasa, demanded that years of industry know-how be put to the test.

Yamasa showcases a gorgeous, milk chocolaty wrapper leaf grown in this challenging region that took a team of scientists to perfect…and it’s evident in its seamless appearance. Also featuring a binder from San Vicente, DR and aged long-fillers from Nicaragua, Yamasa excels with hints of sweetness, leather, and rich spices.

Lives up to the brand as always with Davidoff. Can’t equate it to anything I’ve smoked before but bold heavy flavors with a soft smooth pull. Does start to burn a little hot just past the halfway mark. Definitely worth keeping in the rotation.

Very impressed with the Yamasa Toro. Beautiful oily wrapper. Plenty of luxurious smoke and so tasty. I took my time smoking the Yamasa and was rewarded with an even burn and a solid ash.

It’s a Davidoff cigAr so number one you get outstanding quality. Number two cigar international shipping is fast and cheap. The only problem I had is the cigarbox the complexity of the Nicaraguan and or the obscuro.

Davidoff Yamasa Davidoff perhaps the most premier luxury brand cigar in the world. I hope this one lives up to the reputation of all of the other greats. Very very smooth. First hit is cinnamon, mocha, hazelnut, coffee, and earth tones. Brilliant mixture of flavors collaborate to provide an awesome experience. A true master blending of tobacco. I expect nothing less from Davidoff! Additional info: No matter how many top rated cigars I smoke...I truly find Davidoff to be the stand out. Never a bad cigar. Never a disappointment. If it were affordable, I would smoke only 3 or 4 cigars. Short perfecto, Nicaraguan, and now the Yamasa as a regular rotation.

Wonderful cigar I would rate this as the third heaviest in the Davidoff line, but was more like a heavier medium bodied cigar. I prefer heavier cigars so Late Hour is my choice followed really closely by Escurio and Yamasa. Excellent flavor and thoroughly enjoyed it

Another great smoke from Davidoff. Not as full as most but a great draw and even burn. I like the fact that it doesn't hit me with pepper first then flavor. Earthy, woodsy taste with a touch of chocolate thrown in... Lasts about 20 minutes so its a little pricey for a short smoke, but hey, its a Davidoff!
