Stepping into uncharted territories
Cohiba, the king of the crop, the deity of the Dominican, has accomplished almost everything there is in this industry. One of the most recognizable names in the land, Cohiba has pumped out countless Dominican favorites over the years. Now, they are on to new horizons, getting their feet wet for the first time in the fertile soils of Nicaragua with the release of the Cohiba Nicaragua.
This concoction of finely aged leaves boasts a bolder profile than many we’ve come to know from Cohiba. Adorned with a milk chocolaty Sun Grown Colorado Oscuro wrapper, this prize looks good enough to eat. Brimming with Nicaraguan long-fillers from Jalapa and Esteli all hugged by a Nicaraguan binder also from Jalapa, this is one medium to full-bodied masterpiece prime for the pickin’. Complex notes of cedar, leather, and pepper meld beautifully causing those who partake to begin frantically searching for another as soon as they see the nub is in reach.
Cohiba Nicaragua was recently honored with a well-deserved 91-rating. The review stated, "Notes of white pepper and cumin lead to a bold coffee bean character before the sweet, fruity finish. It's a dark and oily cigar that draws and burns evenly."
Note: Cohiba Nicaragua has recently undergone a packaging update, and we currently have a mix of new and old packaging. You may receive either, but rest assured, the cigars will be exactly the same.
For a limited time, with purchase of select Cohiba boxes, you can add a HERF Signature Ashtray (worth $60) for just $10!
The best Cuban cigars are now even better (if that was possible). God bless the courageous people who defected and took the Cuban-seed tobacco to the Dominican Republic, where the best Cuban cigars have been made for decades!....
A good example of a Nic puro. Medium-Full body and silky smooth. Chocolatey flavors with nice aged tobacco. Very nice cigar. However, for the price point, there are MUCH better smokes available. Until Cohiba prices these are more inline with other premium Nic Puros such as Padron, Tatuaje, Don Pepin, Joya De Nicaragua, ect. I will not purchase again.
The last ashtray you’ll ever buy
Herf is a term thrown around that refers to enjoying cigars in a group setting. This ashtray was built to withstand any conditions those get togethers occur in. Glass, ceramic, plastic, wood – all other ashtrays crack, break or burn under pressure. The HERF Signature Ashtray is built to last with a rugged, heavy set, all metal design that can withstand outdoor use and with a sleek design, still looks just as good on your coffee table. We’ve had some samples floating around the office for a few months, and when I say it’s built to last, I mean it. In a battle between the ashtray and the floor, the floor broke, not the ashtray. Not even the harsh elements of winter could destroy it. Yes, we tried! A quick blast with the hose and its good as new.
Four cigar rests and a deep bowl can accommodate many cigars in a group setting. Each cigar rest is grooved, so cigars stay put, and the built-in ash knocker in the center of the bowl is an outstanding bonus feature. While it's heavy, the rubber foot grips on the underside make sure it not only stays put, but also leaves your surfaces scratch free. Humidors, lighters, cutters, ashtrays – they all need to be replaced eventually. But you can mark my words, this will be the most reliable cigar accessory you ever buy. Get yours today!
