Some instructions would have been nice.
Being a first time buyer of a humidor and not fully understanding the nuances of how to use them properly a simple instruction sheet would have been nice to have. But other than that its exactly as described, you can fit up to 20 churchills into it if want to use absolutely every inch of space in it, but I wouldn't put more than 15 in it personally, even with the humidifier attached to the bottom of the lid, though the fit gets pretty snug.

Simple But Effective
This is my first humidor, came highly suggested by different cigar reviewers. Good quality acrylic and seals nicely. I immediately got rid of the plastic humidifier that came included (as advised by other cigar reviewers) and replaced it with one 69% Boveda packet and I also placed a small digital hygrometer inside to monitor humidity level. Love being able to see the various brands and types of cigars inside the jar. Makes an attractive display. Going to purchase a second jar for the office!

Love it.
Love it, Only issue I am having is keeping it full.

Great for the price, just one small complaint
Nice thick acrylic jar with a tight seal. My only complaint is the Spanish cedar veneer bottom. I would gladly have paid a few extra bucks for a solid cedar bottom piece to add more aroma to the inside. It’s a very thin layer applied to Masonite. Still a great deal for humidor overflow/ travel or office humidor.

Water proof, compact and takes a beating
It may not be fancy, but the best of this humidor is that it is water proof, compact and takes a beating. Keeps the sticks fresh, dry and protected when on the sailboat out at sea. It has never failed in the last year. And it is inexpensive.

Humidor jar
Nice, small and easy to get out of the way

Great humidor
Great humidor. Absolutely air tight. A Boveda bag kept inside is still moist after three years. Cigars inside are aging beautifully for three years now. I have 18 of these lined up on my office bookcase shelf. Each holds 20 cigars. This way I can see what I have and make a choice of which stick I’m in the mood for. And which are running low. Plus it makes for a nice display which my wife likes. Todd M.

The jar
Love it! It works bett than the humidor box to me and easy to maintain with bevado bags.

This is perfect for my office
I love this thing. I took the rubber gasket off, and I am using a Boveda pack instead of the humidifier that was included. I keep it in my desk at work. I should have ordered two of these!

Great Humidor
I purchased this for a box of Cubans that I bought and couldn’t be happier. It maintains the levels with ease and keeps my cigars out for display.

This is a fantastic little humidor!
It is quite handy since there is not a lot of room on my bookshelf. It fits perfectly. I would highly suggest this humidor if you enjoy being able to see your collection without opening the humidor and changing the humidity.

I’ve got two. May get another for the workshop. They’re perfect. Note: Ditch the humidifier and use a Boveda packet, works like a charm!

I can't breath in here
I'm new to all this cigar stuff so I wanted something economical and enjoyable to look at. It clearly a value (sorry I can't resist humor like this - at least I didn't use the word humidor in its place). Whilst It can't hold a plethora of cigars it holds it humidity very good and easy to maintain whilst seeing easily if you need to re-order soon from Cigars International.

This is a great starter and works great on my desk at work.

No brainer
I bought one of these about two years ago now. I don't smoke very often, but a good night around a fire with a cocktail or two is not complete without a good cigar. I end up getting another 5 or 10 pack sampler when it runs a little low. I have used the Boveda 69% humipack since i got this and i really have nothing but good things to say about how it has performed for me. You cant argue with the price and with those Boveda packs it is really a no brainer system. Currently thinking of getting another for camping use.

Inexpensive not Cheap
Great inexpensive humidor. Received one as a gift at a golf tournament a few years ago. Using that one at a vacation home. On a trip to Canada I picked up some Cubans and wanted to keep them in separate humidor. Checking CI and saw it on their website an placed the order. They work great I do keep them in cabinets to prevent sunlight to get at the cigars. Thanks' CI

Plastic humidor
So far so good. Got the Boveda 69 in there, that most reviewers recommended, and all is well. It's only been about 3 weeks but I put in some Gurkhas that were a little bitey for me, and I like what's happened so far. I open it up, every so often, for a little fresh air and then clamp it back down. The thing is air tight, which may account for the "relaxing" process to be sped up a bit. I may have to get another one!

Has many uses
Great humidor for the desk, and holds fewer larger ring sized cigars. I am currently using mine for pipe tobacco. It will hold about 10 oz. of lose tobacco.

Great for starters
Excellent for starters and or traveling. I keep this one in my car, missing the last star cause the cigars can bounce around and the wrappers can get scrapped against the bottom, but I love it otherwise.

Great in Afghanistan
Bought my first jar in 2014 and used it when I was deployed to Afghanistan and it worked great. Deploying again and I'm already having 2 on order.

Jerky Jar of Choice
I can see this having multiple applications, I've read some reviews where fellows use this for their good sticks. Me, I'm using it for my cheapies that I keep in the kitchen when I'm about to head out of the house and need a quick smoke. Most notably Bandidos, what's great about this is that one of these jars will hold exactly one bale of Bandidos (60 of them). It caused a good laugh when a few friends mistook my Bandidos jar for beef jerky sticks, the look of confusion on their faces when they took some out was great. I bought a couple of these so far and what I usually stick in them are cigarillos, or my good cigars when I've run out of space in my regular humidors. In terms of bigger cigars, you could probably fit around 20 good sized Churchills in there with comfortable space between them. It even comes with a bit of cedar at the bottom to give a little aging. One complaint I have about these jars is the humidifier they come with works too well. This jar is completely sealed from the outside world, no leaking is a good thing I guess but this sucker will go well above 70% if you let it. I recommend getting one of those small humi-care sticks to go with it to maintain ideal humidity and not take up too much space. These would honestly be great for long term storage once you get the proper humidity down, I'm sure even a few years down the line if it's never opened those stogies would be fine as the day they went in, maybe even a decade out. In that case these would be great for primos you want to stow away. For me, I'll stick to the "Jerky Jar" angle.

Passed the 3 year test
3 years ago I stuffed 5 of these jars full of expensive cigars and a Boveda 65% packet. The jars were misplaced during a move. I recently found all 5 jars. The Boveda packet was still at least half swelled, no dryness at all, and the humidity ranged from 62% to 67%. All the cigars were in perfect, aged condition. I am enjoying one as I type this review. These jars really are air tight. Highly recommended for aging cigars.

Cigar Jar Humidor - Ravello
The perfect humidor for those who don't have the time to tend to the seasoning of wooden ones. Simply fill the included humidifier with the proper amount of distilled water or cigar juice. Add your cigars and let it do its job. I'll be buying another one.

Patio Humidor
Left mine out on the patio all winter, ran across it while getting the BQ area cleaned up for summer. It had about 10 of my back yard sticks in it (General Grants) the reading on the Hygrometer was 75, and we had a pretty cold winter this year here in Oregon. Great little Humidor... and my cigars are still fresh.

Item arrived in timely fashion. Not too pleased with humidor but it has nothing to do with the company, I just should of purchased another style. It really doesn't hold the humidity at 70%.

Great simple effective product
Simple effective design that works well. I put in a pretty good order with CI and needed to have a way to keep em since my little humidor can only hold a so many. I put one of the Humicare Humidification pillows, soaked in distilled water, and it's holding at a perfect 70%. I 'm going to get another one with my next order.

The simplicity and design of this humidor made it the perfect solution for the situation. Holds a good amount of cigars, easy to care for, and is exactly what I was looking for.

Does the job as advertised..
I have 15 very nice cigars inside. I placed a Boveda 69% humidity pack and the jar is holding steady at 68%. This temporary storage until my Daniel Marshall Ambiente 65 black humidor arrives.

Does The Trick
I'm a novice cigar smoker, just venturing into the world of cigars, and this humidor seemed like a good purchase. It's air-tight, has a very small footprint, and the price can hardly be beat. Ten 50 gauge cigars takes up a lot of space, but doesn't pack it tight. A word of advice: get a hygrometer if you buy one of these, I didn't, and waited until a later order. Imagine my surprise when I found that I was running at 86% humidity!! That's my fault, not the fault of the humidor. And if you ever give up smoking cigars (heaven forbid!), you could use this humidor to store coffee beans or something, so it's multi-use.

Good jar, bad humidifier
The jar seals well and holds humidity almost too well (have to keep the lid open overnight once a week). There is no place to stick a hygrometer unfortunately, so a digital stick sized hygrometer is needed. The foam humidifier developed fuzzy mold after a few weeks (luckily I lost no cigars) so got the smallest sized circular crystal humidifier I could find as a replacement. Overall, the jar humidor is well worth the money. The small size but large (20-ish) capacity makes it ideal for a trip of a week or so. It also fits in my hard saddle- bags on the Harley!

An excellent solution for storing your most prized puros!
I have discovered that mixed cigars stored without cello in my humidor meld flavors and aromas. Although they all taste great, they do have a tendency to taste the same over time, which I do not care for. I decided to try an alternative approach to storage that would help preserve the original aromas and therefore bought three of these cigar jars. The cigars stored are: MUWAT Kentucky Fire Cured, Alec Bradley Tempus, and a mix of various Drew Estate and JdN cigars. So what is the result? Each batch of cigars has been able to age and evolve without ANY change in aroma and taste from the blenders original intent. It's quite amazing. I would suggest, however, that instead of using the humidification puck included that you go with a Boveda pack. These jars create a 100% sealed and pure environment for the cigars within so proper humidification is a must. Quite honestly, I think cigars stored in one of these jars with a Boveda pack (I use 69%) could go a decade without issues. The MUWAT KFC's swim in a delicious fire cured atmosphere awaiting the right time to smoke. The AB Tempus exist in a maduro micro climate with aromas of chocolate and leather. The DE and JdN cigars, I stored them with cello on to help them retain their individual identities, and they sure have, while still being in a perfectly managed environment thanks to the Boveda pack. So, I do endorse these jars and would suggest them to other buyers. These would not likely serve as a primary humidor, but if you want to store some sticks in a pure and unaltered environment, the Ravello Cigar Jar is a fantastic choice!

Cigar jar humidor meets all expetations.
I was very happy with this purchase. It arrived in less than a week from the time of order. My father packed it full of cigars, a few humidification pillows, and sent it to me in Afghanistan. It took a month to get here but arrived undamaged with all of the cigars in perfect condition. Definitely a good purchase and I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to keep cigars over a long period of time.

Good little Humi
bought two and love them. They do tend to run the stogies a little in the damp side. Great for rescuing those smokes that need a quick soak then mine them to your regular humidor.

Customer Testimonials
Love this! Moved, had this stash keeper in the house for 3+ years. Opened and enjoyed a perfectly kept Punch even after all this time!
WL of BETHLEHEM, PA
Just purchased this and I was definitely surprised at the size of this humidor. For some reason I had envisioned something a little bigger than a mason jar or something. This humidor is HUGE and seals really well. I have like 10 cigars in there and there is definitely room for a few more. I am using the humi-care pillows to humidify as others have said the humidification device provided is too much. This will definitely work for an overflow or for new cigars before I put them in my other larger humidors. I will probably also use it for when I try infused cigars down the road to keep them separate from my natural cigars. Definitely recommend for the reasons I stated above.
JT of Hanover, PA
Great overflow humi. I now have (3). I don't use the humidification device that comes with it, I use (1) 72% Boveda Humi Pack and know that it is at my desired level. I keep a wide variety in them as my go to humi to keep from opening my desktop humis as often. Love them. Great item. Would Buy again. I also plan to use them as long time storage and feel that they would work great for this.
AQ of Hephzibah, GA
Man, I like this thing. I added a Humicare Hygrometer and use the Humicare pillows and it maintains levels like crazy. I add my new cigars to it after 2-3 weeks of shipping to the Navy ship I am on, and BAM!, they are holding steady in this baby for smoking status. Then I move them to my regular Humidor... Great for traveling also!
DB of WILMINGTON, NC
For a small humidor, this one does the trick. I ordered one to assist while being deployed to Afghanistan. This was perfect. It was just big enough to hold my favorite cigars and kept them fresh through the entire 9 month deployment. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for something small, strong, and reliable.
JM of FORT POLK, LA
I bought two of these to use for cigar recovery. I like to use them to put freshly bought cigars from CI in for a week before I add them to my big humidor. They work well for that. I can only fit about 12-15 churchhills in the jar FYI.
AS of Winter Park, FL
Love this item.. Very sturdy and well sealed...
JW of WELLINGTON, KY
Tight seal, used a 69% Boveda instead of the humidifier that came with it. Holds about 15-20 sticks.
TL of Hauppauge, NY
I bought three but have discontinued using except for very short-term storage. They tend to over-humidify and make the cigars wet on the "light" end...not good.

Great as a back up humidor when your 250 unit fills to capacity.

DT of Pittsfield, MA
This jar humidor works great! Excellent for keeping that tasty stash of cigars nice and fresh. I am very pleased with the product. Fresh cigar, anyone?
TY of Saint Louis, MO
Agreed a great humidor, personally don't care for the strong cedar flavor that a lined box humidor imparts to my stogies. No seasoning involved and they cure up pretty quick. But constant soaking the disc too often can get the cigars too moist really fast, so have to be sparing with juice. Great in hot, dry weather. Made a good gift for cigars buddies.
JL of MCKINLEYVILLE, CA
I was surprised at the size of this humidor. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of an actual jar. Instead, the humi is huge! Great for storing cigars of any shape and size, or those Joe Cigar deals you don’t want to pass up, but just don’t have room for in your other humidors. I haven’t seen this in other reviews, so will mention that it also comes with a cedar disc at the bottom. Great feature. Can’t wait to get this on the desk and start getting some comments!

Awesome travel humidor. I got one of these for Afghanistan, and it held up without a scratch my entire time in the war. It says it holds 25 cigars, but those must be tiny ring guages, if you're throwing in bellicosos and robustos you're looking more like 18 or so, but there was no issues with length, I've got some 7" Graycliffs in there right now. Great for the office or for hunting trips, and shows that you're serious about your smokes, but without coming off too snobby. Also agree you have to watch the humidity, my I don't know what the percentage was, but I'd let my sticks air a day before I smoked them if they stayed in the jar for a few weeks. Not an issue if you're steadily changing them out though, and it's good for a "rehab" of your cigars after they've been shipped.

What a great way to display your cigars on a desk or bookshelf...It is a very practical way to store cigars with a tight sealing lid that keeps the humidity in the jar very very well. In fact it does keep the humidity levels extremely well for an extended period of time. I had to toss some cigars due to high humidity exposure, be careful with this humidor! You can't complain about a humidor that contains humidity well, but minus one star for an over-sized humidifier.

The Cigar Jar Humidor - Ravello is a handy little container to keep a small stash of your favorite cigars handy at the office or wherever else you decide to hide them. I've been using mine to hold some of those "Joe Cigar" deals I knew wouldn't be around again for a while, but didn't have enough room in my humidor to hold. It's swing-top lid seals in moisture extremely well - so well in fact that I needed to find an alternative humidifier besides the foam disk that's included. Using it with CI's Cigar Juice left my digital hygrometer reading above 80%. If you happen to pick up this little jar, I've found that a Humi-Care Pillow is the best choice to keep your cigars at 70%.
