It’s finally time to answer the question: is it moose, or is it meese? (Meeses?)
No matter. You’ll be chillin’ like a vill- ..er, moose, with this totally radical and unique blend from Foundry. Known for off the wall concoctions, Foundry has done it again, and managed to release a blend that doesn’t just break the mold – it redefines it. Turn up for this party and go home happier than a moose at an antler convention.
Chillin’ Moose features a high quality long-filler filler blend of carefully selected Nicaraguan, Dominican, US Broadleaf, and Mexican San Andres tobacco leaves. On top of that, an Ecuador Sumatra binder and a Connecticut Habano Rosado wrapper complete the package. This combo aims to please, and better still, it’s a great cigar at an even better price. In a word, it’s moose-tacular!
Tried the gigantic 6x60. Not so much a fan. It is ok if you are a lightweight smoker, I prefer a full flavor smoke.
I had read several reviews about these cigars and they were just what I wanted for a daily smoke. The one thing I got from the reviews were that this stick needed to sit in the humidor for awhile. So I bought a box and unpacked them into my humidor and let them rest for about two weeks. Pulled one out and checked it out, felt good, looked good and had a nice smell, reminded me of hay and I couldn't put my finger on the other smell. So I toasted the foot and fired it up, for about the first inch there was a bitterness to the taste, the smoke was rather thin. The draw was pretty good, just not a lot of smoke. Once the bitterness went away it was a pleasant smoke, kinda mild not a whole lot of complexity. Now, that being said, each and everyone one so far has been different from the last. If anything this cigar is consistently inconsistent. The construction is good, no complaints there, but just an inconsistent smoke, flavor wise.
I bought a box not expecting much. The other Foundry offerings are great and this one is right there too. It's a little milder than I like but still has great flavor. Burn is good the ash is steady with a salt and pepper look. I will buy these again.
Ordered a box of these gems, stuck them in the humidor and to tell you the truth, forgot about them for a couple of weeks. Pulled one out the other day and fired it up and was pleased from the start. Nice draw, great taste, and even burn. What more could a guy ask for.
Had to buy one of these to try out. Ended up buying the gigante. It smoked great for a cheap stick. Awesome creamy flavor down to the last little bit, Even smooth draw, nice ash. I would definetely recomend this one to someone who is looking for a good, smooth cheap go to.
I have been trying to find an inexpensive cigar that I could enjoy on a regular basis and not break the bank for some time now. I have finally found what I've been searching for. A well constructed cigar that burns evenly, and has an easy draw with the best flavor I've found in an, under $5, cigar. I am now on my 3rd box and haven't had a bad one yet.
The moose does get better after a short time in the humi. Wrappers are very nice and have a oily sheen. The ash is salt and pepper color and holds on for a good 1 1/2 inches pretty one flavored mild to med flavor but tastes great. I'll buy these again and as always CI price is awesome.
Burned one of these right off the truck. Really disappointed. Tough draw very little smoke. Had to work at it. Let 'em rest guys!! A week in the humi and it is better than I expected. Easy draw, ample smoke, great smooth taste. I will absolutely order more. Burning one right now, this Moose is definitely "Chillin".
This is the best cheap cigar I have ever had. Very mild, smooth, good draw, well constructed, and with tax and shipping came out to about 2.40 a stick. Can't beat the quality to price ratio if you ask me.
