CAO L'Anniversaire Maduro

I do not give many 5 ratings but this is well deserved. Full of flavor but still very smooth and does not burn hot. Great draw with lots of smoke and well rolled. The 54 ring is perfect but I wish I also bought the 55 ring Toro as a comparison.

Good tasting cigar; I like em strong :) Nice size; although I usually smoke churchills. Maduro rocks; and I would probably buy again.

Wow I was blown away by the flavor in this cigar well constructed and very good. Has a bit of a bite but smooth also with that Cameroon binder. My go 2 cigar I bought another box I'm hooked.

One of my top five. Full of smooth flavor and not harsh. Lights easily burns beautifully. I need to start buying these in the bigger sizes because I don't want it to end and I burn my fingers.

Great cigar! Outstanding CAO maduro flavor. Not for those that want a medium bodied smoke. Burns well and pairs well with a peated scotch. Well done CAO. I’ll be purchasing more.

Very nice classic box pressed cigar by CAO. Smooth draw and even burn. Hints of coffee and chocolate in a nice 30 minute smoke. With a fair box price

Just a great cigar

One of my favorite Maduro cigars right after Rocky Patel's Vintage 1990. Excellent draw and rich, dark flavor. It has a very short cap so be extra judicious when cutting with a guillotine cutter so the wrapper does not come undone. This cigar's connection to The Sopranos also adds to its nostalgia factor. A strong 5 out of 5 rating.

One of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked. Have smoked several boxes of these, Usually one dud per box of 20 which is about typical. The rest smoke flawless down to the nub.

Very nice cigar. Needed a little rest in the humidor before it settled down. A big pop of spice up front then smoothed out. My opinion of CI shipping: I have purchased cigars from other online sellers and payed for shipping, they arrive in about five days. When I pay for shipping with CI, cigars arrive in 10 to 14 days. I have sent an email about this is the past, and it is still the same. So when my humidor is look sad and I go on the hunt for cigars and the prices are about the same with CI or others...need I say more? But over all I likes CI, nice website and a lot of good deals. Have been buying these for years, though I haven't purchased in quite sometime. Thought I'd see if they still had the same consistent flavour I remembered. Definitely wasn't disappointed. These are some of my all time favorite sticks from CAO. Took a few along for a cigar night with some great friends, don't typically share these, but it was great company. One of the guys said he wasn't going to smoke, but as soon as I lit up, that wonderful smelling smoke from that dark wrapper hit him and he succumbed. Never trying one of these before, he couldn't stop talking about how much he was enjoying it and after getting about halfway through he pulled out his phone and ordered some for himself! Next cigar night we were trying the Pilon, but my buddy said he really fell in love with this Maduro and said it was definitely his new favorite. Worth keeping a few on hand at all times in the humidor, plus it's my go to when I absolutely know what I'm wanting to share with a good Scotch or a cold beer. Definitely worth a try, but it's on the robust side so not worth sharing with anyone that prefers a lighter smoke or someone just starting out.

Got these because of the alleged connection to the sopranos I read somewhere that this is one the cigars JamesGandolfini smoked On the show, and although that’s debatable the quality is not. This cigar has a smooth draw, good construction and a pleasant flavor great after work with a cup of coffee or a beer! Always burns pretty straight and for me so far have been consistent I would recommend getting as they are relatively inexpensive.

A nice pull but I bought a pack of five and have 3 left. Very full and dark. Taste is there but its very strong. Not too much of a fan of the smell neither. Not a bad cigar, maybe I'm just not ready for a full bodied cigar just yet.

One of the best smokes I've had to date. Smooth, great flavor notes. Easily a daily stick. Disappointed I only purchased the 5-pack and not a box. Fighting myself to not use up the last two. Hands down will be my next box.

A very good, solid cigar. As should be expected from its all Maduro tobacco make-up, this cigar has a pronounced "deep and dusky" taste that is dominated by black pepper and dark coffee. There's not much bitterness, but there's really not much sweetness either. Well-constructed and burns pretty evenly. A spot-on medium-full in body and strength without being overly robust or harsh--it smokes reasonably smooth. I tend to prefer some other CAO offerings that better match my tastes, but this is an excellent choice for those darker moments.

I would enjoy these from time to time but never thought twice about them. Well I happened to leave a few in my humidor for a couple years. The resulting smoke I discovered is well worth the commitment. Buy a box and thank me in 18-24 months!
