Camacho Pre-Embargo is one of the most unique cigars on the market. The blend begins with a vintage ’99 Jamastran Corojo wrapper draped around a complex filler blend including a significant portion of authentic pre-embargo Cuban tobacco - the very same tobaccos used in Camacho’s beloved Liberty series. Medium in body with a rich flavor profile, Camacho’s 1962 Pre-Embargo size brings copious amounts of flavor, including wood, leather, nuts, and spices.

You will not be disappointed. Absolutely amazing flavor profile. Good and strong somke. Not overpowering with and taste great. By far in my opinion the one of the best.

This is a really great cigar that not a lot of people know about. Very well constructed, smooth earthy taste and the very Cuban hay flavor. Highly suggest giving them a try.

This wrapper is top notch the pre-draw great. A very fine cigar love these smooth at first better in the middle and great at the end. Lots of smoke great at holding the ash burns great all the way down. the taste is so good not full, but close This is a great cigar Thanks to all who grow and process, roll these wonderful cigars.

I’ve had “pre-embargo” cigars before and found all of them pretty inferior - just a gimmick. These, however are really excellent. Constructed well, full- bodied and flavorful with a consistent burn. Don’t buy these if you can’t take a punch. I’m not talking about their strength, I mean I’ll fight you for them.

Bought these cigars once and i am buying them again as i fell in love. After about a month of re-humidification, i smoked the first one and i was hooked. Good, medium full bodied with that classic cuban tobacco taste.. hints of leather, nuts all wrapped up with a creamy finish. Very consistent all the way through.

This has become my favorite cigar. Smooth from start to finish with even burn. Difficult to find and a little pricey to be smoking all the time. On special occasions or after a really long week this cigar with some tequila makes everything GREAT!

This is a memorable mild smoke that provides a consistently smooth draw from start to finish. Hard to find, but well-worth the effort. This is my cigar for those too rare times when I can devote 45 minutes of uninterrupted time to just enjoying a great cigar. Grab them while they're still available!

Got a great deal on these in the Make Me An Offer section. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. Classic Cuban tobacco flavor, gives you that nice warm feeling all the way down to your stomach. The burn was even, the draw was great and the cigar held together like a nuclear fallout shelter. This was a great cigar experience from the time I placed the order. I highly recommend these to any cigar enthusiast out there.

I had one about a year ago and it was great. Not any more. Got 10 of these on sale. Great deal--or so I thought. Out of the ten, only a few had flutters of Cubanesque flavor. Most were no better than a two buck stick. Three of ten kept going out and had to be relit repeatedly. The ash doesn't grow very long and it crumbles off unexpectedly. Burns were uneven, but most of all the Cuban flavor was hit or miss--mostly miss. What a bust. A pretty cigar to look at, but it was all promise without delivery.

I held off buying these for a while, because I was suspicious about the hype, but when CI had a sale on a 5-pack for fifty bucks, I splurged. I should have known Camacho wouldn't put their name on anything less than a quality stick. The draw was surprisingly loose, but the burned and construction were great. The cigar delivered plentiful rich, creamy full-bodied smoke. And there was definitely an unusual spiciness in the smoke that I suspect was the old tobacco. A rear treat, and definitely worth the money. I'll buy again if I have the opportunity!

A little dry upon arrival, but some time in the humidor fixed that. The shaggy foot is the wrapper only, no filler. You can certainty taste the old tobacco. Overall, a fine reminder of what once was...

I bought 10 of these cigars ‘on sale.’ If there is Cuban pre-embargo tobacco in them, it’s very little. Maybe a teaspoon per cigar. Many of them were no better than a $4 stick. Seven of ten required repeated touch ups. Sure, there were hints of Cubanesque flavors here and there but overall…disappointing.

when these were first released I thought they were awesome.. the last time I ordered them about 6 mos ago, they were nothing at all special as if the habano tobacco is mostly gone . no more for me at that price even.

I was a little hesitant to buy because I didn't believe the hype. I found them to be smooth with an excellent draw. Soft but no burn issues. Smoked three in two days, I found them that enjoyable. Just ordered another pack of five. Give them a try, u won't be disappointed.
