More modest, but no less intense. It’s no easy task to scale back on strength without losing complexity and flavor. Lesser men have tried and failed. But the fine folks at Camacho have been around the block a few times....evidenced by their portfolio of 90+ rated blends and legions of devoted fans....and they know how to construct a damn good cigar. So it’s no surprise that they easily conquered this challenge.Camacho Connecticut is balanced and smooth, but also features a bold flavor profile that keeps things interesting. Boasting an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, an authentic Corojo binder, and a perfect blend of Honduran and Dominican Aleman ligero long-fillers, you can expect a spicy kick that’s not too overwhelming. Referred to as a “utility cigar,” this is the handmade you’ll want to keep on hand for everyday use. Camacho Connecticut received a well-deserved 90-rating noting: "Perfectly symmetric in appearance, this pyramid has a bit of an airy draw. Initial acidity passes and the smokes takes on a creamy character with hints of citrus and sweet espresso."
I'd been hearing both good and bad about the Camacho brand so I decided it was time to form my own opinion. I ordered a 5 pack and I am thoroughly pleased with this cigar (Toro). The flavor was consistent from start to nub. It burned evenly and was very enjoyable to smoke. I'm a fan!
This is definitely not your typical Connecticut shade cigar. I will definitely say it's bold. Very peppery and bold, but very creamy with a long finish. I love Camacho cigars, so I was very pleasantly surprised and happy with my box purchase.
After 30 plus years of being a cigar freak, this is probably my favorite cigar. Not everyone would agree, but for me, every aspect of this cigar is perfect, and I've never had a bad one.
My favorite cigar!
Best Connecticut cigar out there. I have purchased several boxes and have enjoyed every one of them!
One of my favorite Connecticuts - spicey , woody & wonderful. Wanna save a few bucks - buy the Comacho Monarch - the predecessor to the new Camacho while supplies last.
I bought a box. Very unhappy with them. They don't draw well at all. When they draw correctly, great cigar. Unfortunately this box was a dud.
Had this baby last night and I must say it's one of the best Connecticuts I've had in a while! Flavor is smooth, woody, touch of sweet, and a little buttery. Paired it with an iced tea and it goes down perfect! Definitely gotta buy more!
