Oveja Negra, or Black Sheep, is the factory behind brands such as Dissident, Black Works, and of course Black Label Trading Co. Every year, they make thousands of their regular production gems alongside a few limited editions and yearly releases. One of our personal favorites here in the office happens to be one of their limited yearly releases, the Black Label Trading Co. Bishop's Blend!
2024's Bishop's Blend begins with an Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper leaf alongside a binder of the same leaf, with long-fillers from Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Nicaragua. This is an incredibly rich and hearty cigar, with notes of cocoa, leather, earth, cedar, baking spices, and a hint of pepper to balance the flavor wheel out. James and Angela Brown of Oveja Negra make some amazing cigars, and we just happen to still have a few left kicking around, so be sure to grab some now, because I promise they won't last long.
