Arganese's boldest blend
Rich, toothy, and inviting the Arganese Maduro is like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. Smooth and refreshing to burn, and even more refreshing on the ol' wallet.
Arganese Maduro utilizes a well-aged blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers paired with a dark, oily Broadleaf maduro wrapper to deliver a medium-bodied array of coffee and dark chocolate flavors complemented by a naturally sweet finish. In a word, it’s dee-lish – and priced to move.
Good smokes. Great flavor. I'll buy them again.
I absolutely LOVE these cigars! They can burn a little unevenly, but the smoke is creamy and rich - One of my every day go-to cigars. Great value!
Got my first Arganese Maduro Torpedo in a CI sampler. It was one of the best in the whole bunch. Nice burn. Smoked it down to the very last bit. Super value. I'm ordering a bundle.
This cigar wants to grow up to be a Nica Libre, but it can't. It will literally tease you with only hints of chocolate and coffee, while earth tones smack the tongue. If you're wanting to try a maduro, but are scared of strong flavors, then this is for you.
I would have to agree with eveyone else these are definitely worth buying. I will definitely be ordering another bundle soon.
I'm a newbie cigar smoker and was lucky enough to get one of these in a "sampler" package. So far, this has been my favorite in the bunch. Burns well with lots of flavor and great smell. What more can you ask for?
Great cigars for the price for sure! Good smoke and good flavor!
One of the best under-$3 cigars I've found. Smooth, easy draw, even burn, nice appearance. My only nit is the caps tend to come off soon after lighting....
It's a good cigar for a great price.
SWEET SWEET SWEET! I love the flavor of these. Coffee flavor is there for sure. Good burn down to the nub. Great beginner smoke. I graduated from these to the CI Copper Label when the sweetness became to much for a daily smoke. Great overall cigar, as all Drew Estates are.
These have to be the best kept secret on CI. The first one I fired up was literally comparable in taste profile to a Black Pearl. I swear CI does this just to get me hooked so when the price goes up later I can't quit buying them. Draw is just a tad tight, but perfect for this cigar. I'll be getting more (and more, and more...).
These cigars are a hidden jewel. For the price, it can't get better. I think I found my preferred everyday smoke.
Never mind the cigar band on this stick - this is just an impressive smoke and priced right.
Having smoked maduro cigars since 1977, I have enjoyed the best and the worst. Since I am in a economic down turn at this time I ordered a bundle of Arganese Maduro Robosto cigars not expecting much, primarily because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoy the flavor, smooth burn, and quality presentation. These are worth more than twice the price. Try them and I am sure you will be impressed.
Great everyday smoke, especially for the price. Nice and smooth along with great flavor. Would definitely suggest anyone to order a bundle.
Gotta love these babies. Truly a great cigar with a great draw and the blended taste and oily wrapper put my robusto at the top of my list. I can puff on these all day! And at the great CI pricing I can now enjoy my cigars all day again! THANK'S CI...PHILO
No kidding, I just tossed a half smoked $7 cigar because it didn't draw as it should, didn't burn evenly, etc. and lit an Arganese Maduro. Once you light up one of these you get hooked.
1st one I tried and gave it a mid eighties rating. Two mo's in the "Humi", and wow! Perfect burn, draw, wrapper, and a good looking 1+ inch salt & pepper ash. Take off the band and you can pass this baby off as a $ 14.00 gar. I paired it up with a Bulleit rye whiskey, and had a delightful hour in sunny but somewhat soggy Az. Will be re-buying for sure!
As a huge fan of maduros I'm always looking for an affordable every-day smoke without sacrificing flavor or quality. This is it. You will not be disappointed with the Arganese Maduro. Each one I've smoked has been consistent on burn, flavor, draw, and quality. Again, you cannot go wrong by trying these.
These are fantastic, and good down to the nub. Sweet, dark and creamy flavors throughout. For the price, you can't beat 'em.
I received a robusto Arganese Maduro in a brown bag sampler. While it wasn't a bad cigar it does have two major faults. The draw was harder than it should have been and it did not produce much in the way of smoke. If I was stuck paying brick and mortar store prices the Arganese Maduro may well have become a semi regular smoke for me, but at CI prices I can afford to smoke better cigars.
I ordered the Connecticut wrapped quite a while ago and left them in my humi, after a little seasoning started them up and found them to be very mild and a great burn with huge smoke. All in all very good so I wanted a little more taste and sent for the maduro. I saw a youtube review online from 2011 that just ripped the Arganese maduro so I tried to cancel. Too late already was sent and man am I glad. Got these and 5 minutes after smoked one and could not believe how good this very inexpensive stick was. Great draw, wonderful even burn and huge plumes of smoke. I gave one to a friend a couple nights later and he kept asking me, "How much was this again? Under $2.00? Your kidding me! This is great!" I will be back for more of these babies. I bought the toro.
What a great cigar but why does the new version have such a comical, ridiculously large band? Take this delicious cigar seriously and don't judge it by its comic strip band, OK?
God, what a great cigar for the price! Coffee and chocolate as promised with a great draw, tons of fragrant smoke - you won't know whether to smoke it or use it as incense, beautifully made. An all-round wonderful smoke worth much more than its modest price. A real finger burner that you will smoke to its nub. My favorite.
OMG! Missed CigarFest this year and purchased this because a great friend gave me one from her stash. Needless to say I picked up two bundles and so glad I did! Although a medium smoke it is well constructed, burns evenly and full of flavor. You can't go wrong with this smoke! Thanks to my great friend for giving me a great gift-she knows who she is!
Very good everyday cigar. Burns well with good flavor. The torpedo is a good choice for a day of yard work or a brew afterward. Price is great!
Intrigued with the review in the catalog, I tried a bundle of the Maduro---it's great. Maybe not as good as a $5 or $7 cigar, but really GOOD, interesting smoke that held my interest throughout the bundle. I will order the Habano next.
Iam glad i got a bundle of these beauties.....Iam a big fan of maduros and the way CI discribes these tasty treats is TRUE! Rich choclatey goodness, try them and you be the judge and as always my aficiondos "Keep a happy face and smoke with pride".......thanks CI ur the best!
