Alec Bradley The Lineage

It’s all in the family.

A family man at heart, Alan Rubin’s next endeavor was inspired by two very important people. For those unfortunate souls who have yet to become acquainted with Alec Bradley and his vast portfolio, here’s a quick fact: Alec Bradley is not the name of the manufacturer. The line was founded in 1996 and was named after Alan’s two young sons,  Alec and Bradley. Eighteen years later, both lads have reached legal age in most states. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Alec Bradley Lineage was born.

Lineage is an extension to the Family Blend line, a collection of premium handmades that already boasts multiple 90+ ratings, and by the looks of it, this is sure to be another. A milk chocolaty Honduran wrapper leaf from the Trojes growing region covers finely aged Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers. Beautifully constructed, Lineage delivers notes of earth, cedar, and citrus, with a subtle spice appearing on the retrohale. This selection is a must-try, that’s for sure. Plus, at these affordable prices, it’s so easy to say yes!

Good news! Alec Bradley the lineage has received a well-deserved 90-point rating, noting: "Topped with a pigtail cap, this robusto smokes evenly with a clean burn and full draw. It's a toasty, creamy smoke with some salty elements, a bit of earth and a toffee sweetness."

I enjoyed these cigars. Good flavor and well constructed. One of the five seemed to have a tight draw but over all a good cigar. Will buy again

One flaw, one time - then Excellent!
I got a five pack of these when I decided to try out several cigars I had never tried. I had the Prensada before and was impressed, so I decided to try the Legend. Unfortunately the first one was slightly plugged and was a disappointing smoke through the first half of the cigar. But the next two were wonderful, and I don't mean just he draw. I am thinking I just got unlucky as these are wonderfully flavored cigars. A nice full mouth feeling, as should be expected from a good large rind gauge. Flavor was quite consistent and I smoked it all the way to the nub since it was so good.

Tough draw
Disappointed with this. cigar. Tough draw and a little too harsh for my expectations.

One of my favorites
I’ve bought a few boxes of different Alec Bradley’s over the past few years. (And btw CI consistently has one of the best prices). AB has better cigars by ratings, but this is one of the smoothest, most enjoyable, consistent choices of their excellent line.

A little disapointed. I got them in a sampler pack and didnt pay attention to the ring size. They were no more than brown cigarettes. I had purchased boxes of them before but bigger ring size. My bag.

Great Cigar
The size of this cigar could be intimidating, but if you have time, this is an easy smoke with very smooth flavors. I'm still a novice in the cigar game, but Alec Bradley has quickly become one of my favorite brands.

Smooth, yet full of flavor
This stick is a winner. I got the 6.5x66 (I think)... big rascal. At the Elk's Fourth of July bash, a dude had one burning and I had to ask him what it was. The secondary plume really smelled good. He still had the band on. I wasn't surprised to see "Alec Bradley". I went home and ordered a five pack. I've burned one and enjoyed the heck outta it. I'm saving the rest in the humi rotating with some others not so good. I mean, you can't just blow all the fireworks at once, can you? Save 'em, age 'em, savor 'em.

Let's Hear it for the Boys
Like every Alec Bradley vitola, Family Blend 'The Lineage' is meticulously crafted, full of flavor due to the superior tobaccos utilized & can often be found at a price less than the MSRP, which allows folks like me to enjoy them. I got several in a freebie deal when I purchased several boxes of the delicious American Sun grown Coronas, which are one of my favorites. Well, 'The Lineage' is no slouch either. A medium bodied offering, like so many AB spleefs, it is complex, filled with pepper & spice & everything nice, as we have come to expect in any AB stogie. Interesting enough to satisfy even us fullheads, yet mild smokers should enjoy its smoothness too. Sure to get its own 90+ ratings, I find it to be most satisfactory & give it a 90/100.

Smooth
I'm a big fan of Alex Bradley cigars. They deliver every time. The lineage is a great line for them. Very smooth for a medium-full bodied cigar. It isn't particularly spicy, which I like, but it still has plenty of flavor. Burns well and taste builds as you smoke it. I would recommend this cigar to anyone

Great Cigar and very good service. I use Cigars International frequently and have never been disappointed. Exceptional service and selection.

one of the best.
wow, this is one of my top five ever. Smooth to the end, floral, medium in my opinion. Alec Bradley is my go to, except for their full bodied top end. I am not there yet, after all only 40 yrs at this now. Get the gordo, biggest you can, what a value.
