Alec Bradley 90+ Rated 2nds

Alec Bradley cigars are scorching hot, ranking among the highest rated handmades on the market today. These are legit 2nds from the brand's 90+ rated blends only. Tempus, Prensado, Family Blend, etc. Each burns and tastes just like their high-end firsts, but were sorted from the packaging line due to minor imperfections or slight variations in wrapper color. I'm still sworn to secrecy as to which is which, but I think you'll easily figure it out.

great cigar
Well worth it for the price. You won't be disappointed.

Great value, Great smoke. I'm "Tempus'd" to try more.
Tasted Amazingly similar to a Tempus Natural/Nicaragua. Very, very happy with the purchase. For the price, it's worth every penny. I haven't hit a dud yet, and if I did, I'd still think this was a great value. I'll be missing these in in between purchases of labeled.

Bargain for an upscale cigar!
Big fan of Alec Bradley cigars. Can't find a better deal.

Excellent
An absolutely excellent smoke. Excellent construction, burn, flavor. I'll keep buying these as long as I can.

2nd Rated as good as 1st.
A few cosmetic blemishes but who cares. Nice even burn all the way thru. Try them and see if you can tell any difference in the quality of the smoke.

Draw was inconsistant, didn't burn well. Unhappy overall

Save Your Money
More wrong than a spot or two on the wrapper.......over half were so tight I could barely get them to draw and needed constant re-light. 2 were rolled so loosely you could see a hole down the middle of the cigar, also hard to keep lite. The rest were OK, so not suh a good deal afterall. So, if your cigar time is valuable to you, save your time & money, buy a real cigar.

Great smoke
I love Alec Bradley's and when you can get them at a great price it's an no brainer to buy a bunch

my everyday go-to cigar
they say these are seconds but I sure don't know why: they look good and smoke well with no runs or canoes of clumps. I've had other seconds that are a challenge to smoke but these aren't like that. I enjoy every one and have probably smokes five packs w/more to come.

customer service and cigar quality
Always professional and courteous! Great to work with the service reps to get new ideas of cigars. The Alec Bradley cigars were excellent! And what a great price!

A great cigar
This is a great cigar at an excellent price. I smoked one from the first 10-pack I ordered and immediately ordered two more 10-packs. Now, after five or six of these, I still fail to see why they were sold as unbranded seconds.

Nice smoke
Just wish i knew which flavor/cigar it was so i could possibly order the real deal.

Smoke on budget, but smoke quality
Taste and smoke were delightful, burn was even and thorough. No touch ups necessary through the entire 1.5-1.75 hours.

Satisfying AB order!
Alec Bradley 90+ rated 2nds robusto is just as flavorful and satisfying as the firsts. Ordered them twice already, with no complaints about freshness, appearance, body, or burn. Will order again to keep humidor stocked!

bought as a gift
I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. He was very pleased. A little mild for his taste but he said it was a "smooth, mild bodied smoke, perfect for after work".

Excellent 2nds!
Not the first time I ordered these and definitely will again. Excellent construction, clean even burn and the taste is wonderful. Dead ringer for AB Tempus. Don't know why its a second but I'll take it.

Alec Bradley 2nds
So far it's been a pretty good stick. I'm only a couple in to the set, I think my only complaint thus far, the burn is inconsistent. But for the price, you can't really complain too much.

Priced right and tastes like an expensive cigar!

Nasty
One of the worst cigars I ever bought from CI. The construction was horrible and they tasted pretty bad. I'm keeping them in a little-used humidor to give to people I don't like.

I expected these to be good but, wow. Great value for what you get.

Alec Bradley 90+ rated 2nds
I found no flaws whatsoever. I think it's a great way to buy a premium cigar at an affordable price. I'm guessing it's a marketing strategy to provide a premium cigar to a more cost sensitive customer.

very good for the price
A good smoke for the price. Def. Worth it.

A decent cigar at an indecent discount
I'm not the best at rhyming off flavor profiles. Nuts, oil, wood, leather, pepper...yeah, they're all in there. You get the occasional flaky wrapper or other construction issues, hence the four stars, but a good basic smoke to hand out at social events, especially to friends who like smoke cigars only when somebody else is giving them away. 😉

Alec Bradley 90+ Rated 2nds - Great Smoke
The Alec Bradley 90+ Rated 2nds are superior to many 1st cigars and cost a fraction of the price. Had a Cuban Cohiba as a follow-up to one of these, and the Alec Bradley 90+ Rated 2nd was much better.

You get what you pay for
It was obvious why these did not make the cut. They were a challenge to smoke, the draw was so loose it was like smoking a drinking straw.

These so called seconds may have a blem or two but they are a great way to enjoy a good cigar on a retired guys budget!

Not 2nds - TOTAL GARBAGE
I bought these last year and they were great. I realized I had not had them in a while so I bought them again a few weeks ago and WOW are they GARBAGE. Every stick was either rolled way too loose or totally plugged. I tried smoking 4 different cigars and threw all 20 out. Save your money.

My Favorite
I think I found my favorite cigar! Very nice for the price, wish I knew which AB cigar it was but really doesn't matter. Shared these with a few other guys and they loved them too. Already ordering another couple 10 packs wish these were shipped as fast as amazon prime.

Amazing Smokes/Amazing Deal
I ordered these AB 2nds because of the pricing. Turns out they are second to none! I've smoked 4 so far and every one has been fantastic. I can't find any of the so called "flaws" in them and will definitely be ordering these again. Semper Fi!!

Draw inconsistent
Nice smoke, but the draw was inconsistent compared to previous purchases.
5 out of 5
Cheap and not bad
Unlike some I've had, these seconds are usually quite a good smoke. Usually the imperfection is at the round end. They're a good draw, I'd say medium body. Perfect size ( robusto ) for the garage or yard. I'll buy them again. And again.

Hard to tell they were seconds.

The worst cigar I ever bought. Been a customer for a long time. Hard as a rock and smoked like rope.

Don't Waste Your Money
Sorry to report....... don't waste your money on these. They arrived hard as a rock, will not stay lit and burn uneven to the point one has to waste part of the stick. Yes, they are 2nds, but other manufactures sure don't put out a product like this one. Just a heads up.

I bought these and the toros. They are are both great cigars for the price. Good flavor and even burn to the end. Now a word about Cigar International. These guys at first rate. When you order things one line you want no surprises. That what you get with them. They do what they say they will no questions asked. Emily is customer service is first rate.

Good Cigar, Great Price
These are very good cigars. I see them becoming a regular purchase.

Robusto size is 100% quality!
I have been ordering this size for a short while now. As opposed to the Churchills, which have about a 75% failure rate, the Robusto size is almost 100% excellent!!! I do not believe I have had even "one" bad one in this size! The flavor is really nice! Lots of it (think medium, bordering on full body), lots of thick, chewy smoke! Sweet, with light peppery, cream and chocolate hints. The burn and draw on most of them is spot on! A super bargain, that I will keep on hand always!!
3 out of 5
Not a bad selection
Good price but slow draw and uneven burn. Good product for the $$$.

Cigars
I like Alec Bradley cigars and decided to try these. They were not at all similar to others I have had and were pretty disappointing. They were actually a rather harsh cigar and burned hotter than I thought it should
5 out of 5
kudos to bradley seconds
the difference between Bradley seconds and their banded brothers is just that. you need a sharp eye to find an imperfection. no difference is taste.
3 out of 5
Will do
These smokes are ok, some go out real quick, and some burn very good and stay lit the entire time, I will keep these on hand to give to my friends who come by and ask for a cigar and you know hes not a cigar smoker

Excellent cigar for the price.

tough draw
There were 4 sticks that were really tough to get any kind of decent draw on. They were really tight, and no matter how much massaging, etc. I did, I really couldn't get very much. One of them I even put out it was so frustrating. This was weird as the first batch I ordered was fine.
5 out of 5
Absolute Steal
This have been an absolute steal. I read the reviews and comments and then ordered a bundle. I was surprised by the construction, superb taste and relatively nondescript appearance of the cigars. Nothing notable regarding the wrappers to be able to discern these 2nds from the 1sts. I went through my first bundle in a week and I'm already on my second bundle and will be soon ordering a third.... At this price point, and unbelievable deal and absolute steal....

This is my new every day smoke. It's nearly identical in flavor and smell as it's full-priced version. The only drawback is the inconsistent draw and occasionally uneven burn.

Great value
These are one of my favorite "go to" smokes. I'm a big Alec Bradley fan and I always have these as part of my humidor. Best value going!
3 out of 5
They are 2'nds for a reason
typical of "2'nds" you aren't gonna get a good one everytime. You have to manage your expectations, in this case about 5 of the 10 were fine. they had nice draw and burned well. the other 5 were either a poor draw or had a lot of tunneling that ruined the cigar. I have bought a couple sets of robusto 2'nds with similar results. granted the first batch had more cigars that were smoke-able but the rest had the same issues as above. I also bought some Gordo size and they may fare better because of the size but i'll take them as they come as i have only smoked 2 i think. All in all still a good price and when they smoke well they are definitely 90+ sticks.

Alec Bradley 90+ Rated 2nds are a very good bargain.
I buy cigars that I enjoy and that are affordable. Alec Bradley 2nds fit that sinaro perfectly. Great value and an excelent smoke. Every order I make from CI keeps me anticipating delivery like a child waiting for Christmas morning. Love the quality and the deals.
2 out of 5
decent cigar
construction is ok, and flavor is ok. had a hard time keeping them lit.
3 out of 5
Great, with a caveat, they only fit a certain situation...
Some of these have a very difficult draw. They'll need to be discarded, but when you get one that has only cosmetic feature defects, you're in for a treat! You get what you pay for, and this is a gamble, but if you're ready to roll the dice, and throw out a bad one, and light up a new one, it's worth the price.
3 out of 5
Good smoke, one caveat
Tastes good, looks good, a good smoke. However, have your torch or matches handy. Very uneven burn requires constant attention. Buy again? Not so sure.

Great cigar, great valuu
I've been buying AB 90+ 2nds for years. This is a full bodied cigar with a rich flavor throughout the burn. No bad aftertaste and as for seconds, I don't see it. Compare it to a $10-12 cigar in a retail shop.
5 out of 5
I really enjoyed theses sticks
I really enjoyed theses sticks awesome draw tons of flavor and a lot of smoke I think I will totally get more

Super dry
The cigars I received, while a great deal for good tobacco, were the driest I've ever experienced.

Do not buy
If you buy these it may limit their availability for me. I do not want to have trouble acquiring these tasty treats. So, I repeat, do not buy these cigars!

Wonderful end of day smoke
Had these sitting in the humidor for a month, nice construction to include the maduro wrapper ... no blemishes. Volumes of smoke on lighting, with a chocolate vanilla taste, medium-strong, and perfect burn. Toward the end it finishes with a nice full hint of spice, perfect draw and 1" ash from start to finish.

Alec Bradley 2nds
ive ordered these 2nds in multiple sizes. Of the 40 or so I've had, only a few showed why they made it to the 2nds pile. Although it's a guess on which cigar you're getting, they're all quality. This is my everyday smoke and for the price, I don't feel back having 2.
Customer Testimonials
This is my 3rd bundle of AB seconds. Every time they have been great! This time was no exception as I ordered the AB Connecticut Toro. Not my favorite wrapper, but AB does it right with a hearty Honduran blend and medium boutique and flavor. AB seconds always a solo homer!
They're fantastic! I intend on buying them for as long as CI has them available.
Great bang for the buck!! CI never lets me down and this is a prime example.
Haven't liked many of the 2nds I've tried in the past, but very pleased with Alec Bradley 90+ Rated 2nds Petite Corona #8 (4"x42) - a mild-medium smoke lasting 15-20 mins. Just ordered another bunch!
These are unreal. I got the 6 x 42 double coronas not too long ago and out of 10 cigars only 3 needed some real rest in the humi. Great smooth flavor, great burn, tons of smoke. Could literally smoke down to my fingers. The 42 ring was a little small for my liking so I just ordered the 46 and literally can't wait for them to arrive. Couple days to a week in the humi and you're good to go. These are an absolute steal for the rating and price!
Gents you have to reserve a spot in your humidor for these babies. They are everything you expect from Alan Rubin at a bargain basement price. This guy just doesn't know how to produce a bad cigar. I honestly could not tell the difference between these and the AB's firsts I buy. I guess I'm biased but I don't think there's a better deal out there than this. As usual, CI sells the best sticks around and guards my wallet at the same time.
Amazing deal, in my opinion. You are taking a gamble at what blend you get, but I'm still trying new cigars all the time so I like going in blind like this sometimes. Another plus or minus, depending on your view, is that when you get a blend you absolutely love, you won't know which one it is if you wanted to buy 1sts(the plus would be some cigar adventure through the Alec Bradley line to find the cigar). Yet another thing is that cigars are a handmade product, so you get a dud from time to time. With expensive sticks it can be upsetting to get a plugged cigar. At ~$2.00 a cigar I can't get upset if something goes wrong while smoking, but a ~$10.00 cigar that's another story. That's why I like these smokes here!
Poppin', bangin' and downright explosive! I'm lovin' these babies, from start to finish. These guys are simply worth every penny and you would be pleasantly satisfied knowing that you spent less and got hit in the face with these tasty bargains. Geno says,"Do it!"
I purchased these on a close out deal. Mine were 4.2x50, not listed here. Best damn smoke in a long time. Ten for 17.50, short but so sweet. Cream soda taste, simply beautiful. If anyone can guide me to the firsts, I'd gladly pay.
I found my new regular smoke!
Great cigars. Would order again. 2nds are an incredible bargain. Maybe my eye sucks, but I can't understand why these were rejected at the factory. No issue with even burns, no visible defects on wrapper.
Just received my 10 pack and I AM AMAZED! There is nothing 2nd about the purdy sticks. I will be ordering more, no questions asked.
Very distinct flavor & blend. Not a huge fan, but still worth a try.
I loved these cigars. 8 out of 10.
Just got these over the weekend and tried one out right away. Gotta say I loved it!!
First time trying them; very impressed. Enjoyable smoke. Will definitely be ordering them again.
Love them. I am definitely ordering these again.
Tried a different ring gauge this time - the robust 5.5 x 54. I don't know the AB brand well enough to take a stab at which one this is (open to some hints, fellow smokers!), & my digging yielded jack squat!!! So… Pre-light this one smells like freshly baked bread. Never smoked in the morning, but today? Hell yes! I have toasted up my AB 2nd to enjoy with a deep, dark cup of straight-up organic French roast Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee. A crisp cool Sunday morning here in Georgia, it just seems perfect. And, in fact, it is! I did notice some construction inconsistencies in this batch, so I grabbed the "weakest" looking stick. About 1" in, a burn spot appeared @ about the 1/3 mark. I chose to let it go to see if this was going to canoe and wreck the smoke. I'll be damned if the cigar didn't corrected itself and is now burning perfectly, no touch-up required. While it is a little spongy, this has an excellent draw, pleasant mild-medium flavor and mild strength, plumes of smoke, & no harsh aftertaste. The aroma reminds me of my grandfather's pipe tobacco, circa 1978. (Olfactory flashback!) This is as good with my coffee as it is with my bourbon. At this price point, buy them, enjoy them, share them with your newbie friends. Cheers!
I love these cigars! They are my personal 'go to' cigar when I want something nice. Can't beat the price for the quality of tobacco, burn, and flavor, period.
Okay, so my toro was not the ring gauge I had expected (more like a 42 rather than a 48-52 ), but the flavor is outstanding! I'll try again. No problem. Any time… HAPPILY!!!
Tried them and found my new everyday smoke. If I get time to have a cigar, I am grabbing one of these. Very happy.
Took a chance, being unfamiliar with the Alec Bradley line. My "toros" came in a little skinny, in my opinion, but DAMN! This is a GOOD smoke! Even burn, sturdy ash, a balance of spice - none-too-peppery - and cream. I'm going to try a larger gauge, but this flavor at this price? It could easily become my everyday go-to.
Can't beat the price. Great cigar!
I have smoked a number of Alex Bradley's but couldn't place what cigar I was smoking. They were OK but hardly what I would rate a "Premium" smoke. For just about $2.50 a cigar they were fine. No bad burns and flavor although not complex was in the med-full range I enjoy. I continue to try seconds hoping for the "Holy Grail" a fantastic second of a great cigar. (If only I knew where Padron and Garcia's seconds went) If you read this - my experience wasn't bad it wasn't a throwaway but it was as advertised a $2 cigar - I got what I paid for.
I am in love with Alec Bradley cigars but I want to smoke them all the time. I just picked up my first of many 10 packs and I am completely happy with them! A little imperfection on some of them but overall, a great buy! You won't be disappointed.
Not a bad cigar, but not a great one either. I couldn't finish the one I bought.
So-so. No value.
A superior smoke. Perfect draw, good volume, smooth and delivers the full punch as one might not expect. This one is too pricey for me but when I find it on special it is instant order placement!
I just received the 6X60 Gordo #8's which appear to be either Alec Bradley's Connecticut or the American Classic blend. I'm more inclined to think its the Connecticut though due to how light the wrapper is. I also got the 5X60 Gordo #2's which I believe are the Family blend. I'll update this review after I get a few of theses smoked, but for the price and Alec Bradley's quality sticks, you can't beat them.
Excellent, tasty smoke.
The 90+ 2nds were a great smoke for the money. I did have 1 bad one in the bunch of 20 I ordered...But I am happy with the purchase...They were a great smoke and if I put a band on them my friends didn't know the difference. I am already reordering!
Try them. I enjoy Alec Bradley cigars a lot. The downfall is the price attached to them. I enjoyed the 2nds because they still smoke smooth and I don't have to worry about dropping $6-$10 for an hour of enjoyment(Though on special occasions I would). These work well as an everyday cigar or a give one to your buddy cigar. Cheap and delicious.
Very nice cigars, and will buy again.
Great value!! try these on for size you will be amazed!!
2nd review, follow-up, 5.5X52. Cigars have been in the humidor (digital humistat says '44'). Unlike the first one which was smoked upon arrival, the draw is perfect. The construction was excellent and the flavors outstanding...started out with the most intense chocolate flavor I have ever tasted, transitioning to lighter chocolate and peppery (not overly so) by the second third. Finish to the 1 in stub was still good, hint of vanilla as the pepper faded away. Thoroughly enjoyable! I highly recommend this cigar in this shape. For reference my everyday favorite cigars are AB American Classic and La Glorias in the same/similar size and shape. These seconds (really seconds?) are on my daily favorite list.
5x54 robusto is a pretty mild cigar. which 90+ rated line this came from is beyond me! the cigar burned great, mild body and mild flavors of cedar and cream. smoked like a conneticut.
smoked an ab family blend 1st this morning (my first), decent cigar. draw was a bit tight in the first half...just goes to show no cigar is perfect, not even "1sts". i've smoked a dozen or so seconds, not sure if any of them were this blend.. very simlilar in flavor profile, but different in the end. some have burned weird, most of them corrected themselves. wrappers are very similar in many of the sticks to the family blend wrapper. natural style wrapper... when i open my coolidor to grab a smoke i find myself reaching for these seconds more and more, passing more expensive "branded" cigars. for the price i'll take the chance on these seconds, considering many of the sizes are great full flavor cigars.
These are an exceptional value, and compare very favorably to any of the 1st quality Bradleys in my humidor.
UNFAIR review follows. Got my first of the AB 90+ 2nds today. Had to smoke one right out of the packaging. I never to this as a rule. The rest have gone in the humidor for hopeful improvement. Will report in a week. The first one was very tight, was thinking about clipping the ash as using a drawpoker to open up the draw...it was almost painful to get through the midpoint; by the finish the draw was still a little tight but rewarded with the Alac Bradley volumes of smoke and the fine Honduran flavor I like. Throughout the ash had a chisel shape from the tight filler. The aftertaste is sweet, almost syrup-ey. The blend is a keeper...hope the draw improves with a little time in the humidor.
seconds will always be seconds to me. Long rest helped some, but maybe smaller ring would help also. But all things considered........give them away on golfcourse to your buddy........these were kinda depressing
just got 100 alec bradley seconds in the mail. i bought 20 of each 5 different sizes through the weekly special... i unwrapped them all tonight for storage, and the first thing that stood out was the 5x48 robusto (only seen this size in the weekly special x20) cellos were all yellow! this was a nice surprize, i don't see these things sitting around long enough for this but you heard it here. i had to smoke one of these tonight. review in a minute. all the wrappers look the same except for the lancero size (7.5 x 41) which is maduro. all the others are a brownish, habano? not entirely sure. i can say the 5 x 48 is a great smoke. you can tell these are seconds. there are visible imperfections with many of these cigars... that being said, the 5x48 smoked like a champ. draw and burn were perfect. it smoked like a much larger ring gauge. took me almost an hour, and i wasn't taking my time (it's cold in the garage!). the cigar constantly slowed down and picked up. not sure if intentional or not, but it was interesting. tons of flavor, i'd call it medium leaning toward full. my nose is tingling a bit from exhaling through it! it's going to take strength not to order more of this size before this deal expires...i'll post more as i smoke the other sizes
#2 of the batch i smoked was a 5x52. wrapper was similar to the 48, just a tad lighter. cigar was pretty mild, draw was a bit tight. left me unimpressed.
the lancero 7.5x41 is a strong smoke. the ones i got are maduro. full flavored smoke that started strong, mellowed out a little, then picked back up in the second half. it canoed a bit more than i'd like, but it corrected itself. at times the draw was easy, others it was tough. for the price it is a decent full bodied leave your mouth tingling cigar!
I have ordered two packages of the Alec Bradley 2nds. I was really hoping for Prensado or Tempus, but the other blends would have been acceptable. The first order was the churchill #1. It was clearly Family Blend. No problem, that's a decent cigar. The next time I bought Lancero #1 because Tempus is the only blend that comes in lanceros and the dimensions matched up perfectly. Guess what? Family Blend lanceros. While the cigars themselves are almost indistinguishable from firsts in how they smoke and appearance, I won't be ordering them again. It's a gamble what you're getting and I would only recommend buying these if you would be perfectly content with whatever blend you receive.
Big fan of AB's nica puro. Tried these based on the price, for a cheap everday smoke.I found myself favoring them over other big name and more expensive cigars. now I pick some up with every order
I'm new to cigars and I enjoyed this cigar almost as much as the forty dollar single Padrone 1964 anniversary cigar. The best buy deal I've found so far. Gonna buy more. Awesome!!
On my third try with the #5 Robusto. The first two tries I was sent the wrong size and the last time I was sent the right dimensions, but was sent torpedoes instead of Robustos. I'm guessing the bins that these are being picked from are a little mixed up. But these tend to be a little dry and require some time in the humidor before lighting up.
These are an absolute steal!!! I'm always searching for a great stick to smoke that won't break the bank and these are that stick. Flawless construction and burn, I found one or two dark or off color spots on each cigar, but nothing to really notice or worry about, I've seen worse on an $8 stick. I have always been afraid of seconds, but no more, these are my new must have in my humidor. Good smoke output, creamy, hint of sweetness with just enough great tobacco taste to not overwhelm, but definetly stay interested. I like the 5.5x54 and 55's, I suspect the tempus line, but at this deal, and experience who cares... Better order up before I do!!! :)
Good mild smoke. Produces a lot of thick smoke, mild flavor kicks in about an inch into the cigar, burns well until the last third then the cherry burns out within 2 minutes sitting on the tray. Still a great deal for $2.50 per cigar.
Straight to the point, great smoke at a great price. Buy these. Buy lots of these. If you only order one bundle, you're gonna be really mad at yourself.
great smoke for real bargain price will get more of these
This is my second shipment of AB 2nds. Mixed results this time. Torpedoes were just like the previous shipment, some surface blemishes but had great taste with an easy draw and plenty of smoke. I also purchased the Gordos and they are very bad. Extremely poor draw (to the point of not able to be smoked). I have tried 3 so far and all have been the same. There are no visible defects in the wrapper but the sticks are not very firm. They may have a channel or holes allowing air through/under the wrapper. The result is a mouth full of air rather than smoke. For the price, I would recommend the Torpedoes, but stay away from the Gordos.
I got these bad boys in about a week ago . . and they are absolutely delicious. Totally worth the money. Actually, they should probably bump the price up! I ordered the Churchill line and I'm totally happy with it. Just the other night I was having one of these fine smokes and the wind kept blowing towards my friend's face. And I was really trying not to do that . . .rude and all. So I said "man I'm sorry this smoke just keeps flying to your face" and he says " don't be, it smells like heaven". Totally worth it! Stop reading this review and get yourself a box!!
I've been looking to try a Lancero for a while now, but hadn't pulled the trigger until these came along at such an awesome price. I let them soak for a week because I didn't want to be overly eager and ruin my first experience right off the bat. Let me tell you, these things are amazing. Thick, white smoke. Perfect draw. No touch ups. Exceptional construction...all of them. As soon as I finish this, I'm ordering 5 more mazo's. I want to see what these taste like after a couple months while I chew down on all of the first 10 I ordered over the next couple weeks.
I scooped up 40 sticks the last time CI offered Alec Bradley 2nds & was amazed at the quality & price. I was disappointed by not getting more since they disappeared in a matter of days. I am stocking up this time, even though the cost has increased from less than $2 a vitola, to $2.50-$3.00 each. A competitor has had them available all along at these new prices, but I resisted the temptation to defect from my 'Gar place & did not order any. I let a few of mine lay in the humidor & after seeing the new dynamic list of sizes CI is offering, I raced to the computer to place an order, while lighting up one of the Family Blend 2nds I had hidden away. I carefully scoured the new list & am ordering 40 of a mix of FB, Maxx, Tempus & Black Market. My 4 favorite blends. Not just Alec Bradley blends, but any blend every made! I will pay the toll & chalk it up to not ordering as many as I should have last time. But I didn't know then what I know now. This is no trick or "bait & switch" tactic. It is simply as stated. Alec Bradley deliciousness at 50 to 75% less than a box & banded first. Why on earth AB decided these weren't up to snuff, I have no idea? I place an original band on them, mix 'em in with the real thing & I cannot tell the difference. I didn't find so much as a spot on a wrapper. They smoke the same, taste the same, by golly, they are the same! I wonder how long these will last? I hope long enough to see them discounted again, but I'm not taking any chances & will be ordering as many as my limited funds will allow. I cannot recommend them however, because the more everyone else buys, the less I will have all to myself!
Alec Bradley cigars for well under $3 a stick. Fantastic! And they taste every bit as good as you expect from AB.
The (5.6"x46) Is A Medium Bodied Creamy Chocolate Tasting Cigar, Definetly Worth The Price, Im Smoking On My Second Bundle Of Them.
Snatched up a bundle of Robusto 52. Can't fathom the quality of these things for the price. Construction maybe a little off here and there, but these are tasty and satisfying way beyond their price. You can not go wrong here people!
I believe the petite corona is actually the Nano from the Maxx line. It's delish! Oak, and sweet maduro taste, full bodied. I've smoked many of these and they are a great value. Occasionally I have had one that looked weird and tasted bad, almost like it didn't get a wrapper leaf. Well worth the money none the less.
Got my first bundle of AB 90+ 2nd's Corona's, and it won't be my last. These cigars are beautifully made, great draw, and the taste is awesome. Can't go wrong with this deal.
Wow, Just got my bundles of AB & Man o War 2nds,and I was very impressed. You can't beat these deals folks...If you love these brands and have a limited pocket book, you better jump on these while you can.Keep up the good work CI !!!
Deal of the Century! The ones I received are, except for not being box pressed, indistinguishable in color, weight and aroma from the corresponding, much more expensive 'firsts.' Seconds can be a real crap shoot, but at least in my experience, these are all they claim to be. Love you guys - More, Please!
I recieved my 2 bundles of sticks and when I closed my eyes and smoked one, the taste was just as the label was there. The visual is nice no blemishes or weird veins, the draw was nice and the burn was very even. The only problem is CI cant restock quick enough on some of the sizes I like the most.
This package can only be described with one word; FANTASTIC... Don't pass these up! The package I got were superb visually. They were rolled a little tight but all the AB flavor was there. I'll be ordering more ASAP.......
This is a must have cigar for the humidor, great taste, even burn , the aroma is awesome, alittle piece of heaven.
