Just got them in the mail 4 days ago. I knew of the Man O' War, the Diesel Unlimited maduro and the Core but I never had the other two. I tried the HC2 first, man was I impressed...loved it. The Relic was good but the HC2 was great. One of the best samplers out there.
I love full-bodied cigars. I wasn't disappointed with one cigar out of the entire bundle. Terrific mix; if you like full-bodied cigars, this sampler is a must.
I love this sampler. They were all good. Most samplers put in a cheap one or two. These cigars were all new to me. I enjoy Fernandez cigars so I tried it. This will be a regular choice for me.
Ok gents, I'm going to attempt to make this short and sweet. EVERY cigar in this sampler is superb! The Man O' War Ruination is tied with the other two best cigars I have ever had (Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #2 and the Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro). The Diesel Unlimited Maduro has a little too much dark chocolate taste on the back end for my liking (though it fades somewhere in the second third), but I still enjoyed it immensely. Had I paid over $6 a piece, I would still be satisfied with this purchase. Buy this today, you won't be sorry. Or don't so there will be more for me!
One of the reasons I like smoking samplers. It gives you the chance to try different cigars without a cost upfront for something you haven't tried. Picked out the HC to try because I've tried the others and they're all winners. I'm a big fan of AJ's work and know I'll get a great cigar each time. Lit it up and drew in. Heaven! You know how you love the taste of a cigar when you first smoke it? This is one of those. I instantly fell in love with it and the love affair continued until I put it out. Fell for this one like I fell for the R&J 1875. Flavorful, nicely constructed, easy draw with a beautiful smoke and a white-gray ash that just hung around. Definitely a new favorite and will be buying more.
