The 5 Vegas is a good morning golfing cigar. Not necessarily a cigar I’m gonna light up after a round of golf. Because the the Hoya de Monterrey Excalibur is one of my go to cigars and I would light up after a round of golf and during a round of golf. If I see this sampler run again I’m all over it. A good cigar and a really good cigar for a great price!

These are two of my favorite cigars. The Hoyo is similar in profile to a Cohiba Connecticutt and the Vegas a Macanudo Cafe. However, I think both of these to my tastebuds better. They are both more complex and nuanced. I try to keep both in my humidor at all times. I have given these to others who like the Cohiba and Macanudo and they have all agreed with my assessments.

The taste of of cigars is wonderful as expected. The cigars of all brands that I have in the last two orders have been very dry. The business end on some split and have to be discarded or temporarily resealed with honey. I have a new, well seasoned humidor that I maintain at 70% humidity.

Two excellent brands ! Cigars are consistantly well made, with smooth even burn, wonderful draw and great flavor. 5 Vegas start out spicy and then mellow, booming out big clouds of smoke without being harsh. Hoyo is smooth and mellow start to finish.
